Before today this review would easily been 5 stars…read more It has been a week now since the owner of honeydog reached out about my dogs groom. And I received nothing in return. Brought my dog here on March 21st 2023 My dog is an adorable 6 year old Labradoodle whom we've been bring to Honeydog happily for over a year now. Up until now they've done a great job with my dog. But regretfully this past visit was absolutely horrendous. The groomer was Sam that worked on my dog. I told them to leave his hair normal just trim and for a Labradoodle it should not look like a poodle. Not only was the cut a 7 blade super short cut but it was completely botched all over. His tail was cut so short it was only skin in sections making him look like he has a rat tail. His face was uneven. His coat completely different lengths. His butt area was shaved down so far you could see everything on his backside. Not to mention my dog was completely miserable for about 2 weeks since the cut and now that is growing back in a little he seems happier. The excuse I heard from the groomer Sam is that he had dry patches of skin "all over his body". I brought him to the vet and only areas that were a little sore was his posterior due to him rubbing his butt on the ground often. The owner Kerri reached out and made no effort other than trying to cut him shorter which would of been far too much. I feel ripped off. After getting my dog countless grooms over his life this has to be one of the worst cuts he's ever gotten. Friends and family said he looked like a stray dog And instead of having my opinion heard all I felt was excuses of how he has this body wide rash that wasn't even true in the first place. When I expressed my concern I got nothing in response. No I dont want him cut shorter he's already cut way too much. Its unacceptable. I hope they mediate the situation and don't continue giving awful cuts like my dog received. Its not acceptable as a paying customer to be given this type of service. Especially paying over 110 dollars from his groom with tip. I feel absolutely disrespected

My partner and I have been sending our dog, Winnie, to Hollywood hounds for daycare since November…read more2025. When we adopted Winnie a few weeks prior, she was very anxious and unsure of basically everything. We chose Hollywood Hounds because we had read that they were well versed with anxious pups. Since Winnie has started going to daycare, she has become increasingly more confident around new people, new places, and overall has been a happier dog. Winnie loves the staff at Hollywood Hounds, and she greets them with kisses, tail wags, and wiggles every time she walks through the door. We always hear the staff excitedly greeting her as she walks into the back, and hear everyone telling her goodbye as she leaves. We check their Facebook page frequently to see photos of Winnies day. In every photo she is having an absolute blast playing with her friends, getting love from the staff, and relaxing in the shade. They have always been more than happy to be attentive to Winnie as well. Winnie has had some minor health issues since we brought her home, and we have always been able to trust Hollywood Hounds to let us know if she had any issues during the day or if they noticed anything abnormal. They have given great recommendations for trainers, vets and ways to help her settle in at home. They also have always been happy to squeeze her in for a quick nail trim or rinse off in the bath after a day of rolling in the mud. We have recommended Hollywood Hounds to anyone who is in the area, and will continue to do so, as we have had many wonderful experiences with their business. Winnie is always so excited to go to daycare, and has started to learn when she goes and now anxiously waits by the door so we don't forget to bring her to her favorite place.

Will return Will recommend based on this visit…read moreI used the emergency veterinarian service once before, and I felt my needs were addressed, and proper medication was given for my cat who was feeling ill at the time and it seemed to solve the issue. They were also very caring and concerned about my needs as well as my cats needs. I then needed to use this regular vet service because I was thinking my cat had allergy problems while the day before my visit was scheduled. Something had happened to his back end where he was limping. They still took him in under the appointment that I had booked for his allergies. I had a first thing in the morning appointment and they were very busy even at that point I waited about a half hour after my appointment before the vet tech came in. She did some ear swabs to check for an allergy or to check for an infection and then I waited an additional 20 minutes before the results could come back andthe vet to come in the room both Treated me with care and compassion as well as they did my cat they gave me some medication's, They talked me through the treatment plan what they thought it might be. They told me that my cat did have a heart murmur which was new to me and they recommended an echocardiogram which cost around $500.Dollars. I'm willing to go ahead and do that. To provide the proper care that my cat will need moving forward with his life he is only four years old. I did ask about an x-ray for his back area due to the limping. The doctor said I could if I wanted to pay the $250 but she felt that it wasn't necessary. Let's work with the medication's first and then we'll go ahead and do the x-ray if need be and I was OK with that. She said if the injury was very severe, he wouldn't have intermediate limping he would be lame and not moving and intolerable to discomfort. So, with all this being said, I did need to make some phone calls to the vet once I started the medication and to talk over some things that I had questions about after the visit and all of my phone calls were returned and they were all met with my satisfaction and my cats. He's doing much better. We just have to run the course of the medication. I hope that anybody else who uses this veterinarian service has the same encounter me, and my handsome fella have had

My sweet ringneck dove, Peppermint, was injured and starting to show signs of an infection, and I was absolutely terrified. Birds are so delicate and incredibly good at hiding illness until it's too late, so I immediately started calling around trying to find a vet who would even see a bird. Most clinics don't, but thankfully, Bedford Pet Urgent Care told me they could see her the very same day. From the moment we arrived, I felt so reassured. The receptionist was incredibly kind. When I needed to step away to use the restroom while waiting to see the vet, she offered to have Peppermint stay with her at the front desk and interacted with her so sweetly. That level of compassion meant so much to me. The vet we saw, Dr. Penraat, was absolutely wonderful. He handled Peppermint with such gentleness and care that she immediately trusted him (so much so that she happily perched on his head after the exam to show her affection). Watching how calm and comfortable she was with him truly spoke volumes. Dr. Penraat quickly identified the issue and prescribed effective medication, which worked amazingly well. Peppermint was noticeably better in less than a week. I was beyond relieved and so grateful for the excellent care she received. To my fellow bird owners in New Hampshire: I highly recommend them. This was hands down the best veterinary experience I've ever had. Finding a vet who is knowledgeable, comforting, and genuinely caring with birds is so rare, and Dr. Penraat is truly exceptional. He is friendly, thorough, and makes both pets and owners feel completely at ease. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my sweet bird.
