My dog has hip displasia and is 10 years old; I have always been afraid of leaving him places, until a close friend highly recommended them to me. We get to watch "Zuie" having a good time and making friends. In addition to the amazing service they provide, their place is so nice and perfect for dogs; super clean, safe, open... they make sure all dogs are vaccinated too. We loved Furry Murray and felt so comfortable leaving our massive Rhodesian ridgeback there for a week and a half. Helen is so wonderful and friendly, we just loved her! She welcomed us into her home and backyard for a meet and greet to see how our dog would do, and to ensure we were comfortable too! That meant a lot as we weren't offered that with some previous dog sitters. I have to say Helen is amazing! So lucky to have have found her. She was very accomadating and easy to talk to. She watched my 4 1/2 month old doberman. He hadn't been socialized because I was waiting for all his vaccines to be completed. He used to growl and bark at other dogs and some people at the vet. Once his vaccines were completed, I had to go out of town and needed a place ASAP. Helen took in my puppy as long as he was vaccinated and cleared, so he could be around other dogs and safe on walks. She also helped me understand he is still learning and has puppy behaviors but can still help me since he was still a baby. While I was gone she sent me updates, pictures and videos of him playing with other dogs. I was so happy that while I was gone she helped me tremendously with socializing and let me know how he was doing with other dogs. I had explained to Helen that I was out of the country and my text weren't coming through sometimes. She downloaded WhatsApp for me, so I could receive updates and videos internationally. Extremely convenient. Long story short, not only did she watch my puppy, she socialized him and took him on walks. When I picked him up, I could see my puppy loved her. I, then took him to a pet store to grab a few things and was amazed how he didn't growl at anyone or other dogs. He was a whole new dog. So, sweet and loving. Can't recommend the Murray's enough! They were super accommodating to all my concerns as we haven't had great experiences boarding my doodle before. He always left freaked out. Helen invited us to her home to do a meet n greet, he then spent one night as a trial and a few weeks later we dropped him off while we went on vacation for 2 weeks. He happily went it and had an awesome time! They do a great job of sending daily video and/or pix and I could tell how much fun he was having at their home. Helen is an excellent pet sitter!!!! We had to head out of town for a couple of days and couldn't take our new puppy who is a toy Pomeranian. We were very hesitant on leaving her at a Kennel since she is soo small, but luckily we found Furry Murray was close by and she was able to accommodate us last minute. I absolutely love Furry Murray. I have a small Chihuahua mix who has some anxiety when he's not with me. So I was super fearful of bringing him anywhere other than with family members. HELEN IS AMAZING. I can tell she truly cares about the well being of the dogs while us owners are away. After accidentally booking a non-dog-friendly hotel in Napa, I was concerned about finding a fun cage-free place for our eight-month old puppy to stay. Thank goodness for Helen! The kennels I usually take Buddy Love to didn't have any accommodations, which must have been a sign because I found Furry Murray. I called and we did an introduction and the rest is history. Ahoy! We've had our pup here several times for both day-sitting and overnights. The little guy now knows the place and is always super excited to go back. We know that socializing is an important part of dog training so it's great to have a safe place such as this to do so. He gets the chance to play with other dogs and to get accustomed to a different environment. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! Dropping mine and my husbands doggie off for 9 days with Furry Murray was honestly the BEST experience for him and us. This was our first time dropping him off with a dog sitter and of course I was a little hesitant at first. BUT the moment we met Helen she was so bubbly and talkative and my husband and I felt so comfortable with her like we had met before. Her house is beautiful as well and clean I enjoyed all of the pictures and videos each day of Buster. He isn't used to being around dogs so it was really great to see him open up each day he was there and be more social with the other dogs. Furry Murray also offered Buster a bath for $15 and put a cute bandana on him so he would be fresh to come home to us. Helen also washed Busters doggie bed because she wanted him to have a clean bed after being washed (can't be mad at that because it needed a wash ) !
