Business name caught my eye while in the neighborhood, so I pulled up the menu. Deep fried sushi rolls with cream cheese and grilled shrimp? Toto, we are not on the West coast any more. Thankfully, everything is fully customizable here, from rolls to bowls with various Asian fusion flavors (hence the name). You really can go as healthy or unhealthy as you want, here. Customized a fresh sushi roll in soy paper with brown rice, grilled shrimp, added salmon, with avocado and cucumber, topped with spicy mayo and masago. Various upcharges made it similar in price to a special roll at a sit-down restaurant (~$12) but they do have cheaper options. Received product was as ordered, was fairly fresh but the grilled shrimp was unseasoned and didn't really add anything to the flavors. Service for pickup was fast and friendly. TIP: Use the Yelp check in offer for $2 off, which allows you to add another protein to your sushi roll for free.

Grilled shrimp noodle bowl with General Tso's sauce

Stopped in at the Colerain location for a quick lunch on a Saturday. Staff was very helpful with explaining how to create your own bowl or roll from menu offerings. The guy taking my order went as far as to ask me my likes and dislikes and offering suggestions. I decided on a 2 piece, crab rangoon appetizer and a noodle bowl with grilled shrimp and veg in General Tso's sauce. My friend went with a veggie spring roll appetizer and a tofu and veg noodle bowl with ginger sauce. I used the Yelp check in deal ($2 off your order) which ended up getting me my app for free. At check out, the staffer offered me samples of their new boba tea to try. She even encouraged me to try all three if I wanted. The boba was overly sweet for me, but I enjoyed getting to sample it. Our starters came out quickly accompanied by the typical duck sauce. I liked my Rangoon, although it was not the best I've ever had. My friend wasn't crazy about her spring rolls. Our noodles bowls came out soon after our apps. The portions were sizeable and the ingredients fresh. There was a good number of shrimp in my dish. The tofu was pressed very thin and cooked crisp which was unique and a nice change. Although, some may prefer a more traditional cubed version. Small, local chain. Friendly and helpful staff. Bright, well-kept interior. Good portion sizes for price.

Wow! I'm really surprised that I live 5 mins from here for 2 years and this is the first time I've experienced Fusabowl. This is so yummy! Like a chipotle style cheap hibachi! I will definitely be back!

Food: I ordered sushi roll with crab, shrimp, cucumber and cream cheese. It was so good! It came out hot, fresh and super tasty. I also bought some crab ragon and they were delicious as well. The ingredients taste fresh and not like it's been sitting there. Venue: The place looks to be clean and well kept. The area for sitting is nice. It's a fun place not your typical sushi spot. It almost reminds me of a yogurt spot, with the bright colors. I love how bright it is in the. They have all the ingredients out in a buffet style by the register. The staff making the food was nice, but the girl at the register should probably get a new job with her attitude. Price: Not expensive but be careful adding stuff, because it can get a little pricey. Like it was a dollar extra to deep fry and two dollars extra for the shrimp in my roll. But overall you won't go broke in here lol. This place I would say reminds me of a chipotle for sushi. I love how whatever you want they will make. If you're craving a sushi roll with chicken, crab, corn and carrots (nasty to me but) they will make it. The ball is in your court.

I came here based on their reviews calling it "a Chinese chipotle" and "the best crab Rangoon" they've ever had. Upon arrival the place was very clean. The man taking orders was friendly but hard to understand. The girl at the cash register looked like she was living a nightmare and being forced to work against her will. She was an unhappy, unfriendly girl. The food itself was good. I was pleased with the amount of shrimp and chicken that we got because some places seem to skimp on the meat. I will agree that it's like a Chinese chipotle but I'm sorry to say the crab Rangoon is not the best I've had. That title is still held by Bangkok Palace in Chillicothe, Ohio. My only suggestion would be to add more vegetable choices for bowls. Currently they have broccoli, onions, corn, jalapeños, and carrots. I'd recommend to the owner to consider adding some mushrooms, green & red peppers, edamame, maybe even some cilantro & green onions. Overall, we were very happy with the visit.

The restaurant is brightly lite, the service was quick and friendly. I ordered the Teriyaki bowl with shrimp. Taste good last night and better for lunch today.

I'm normally really please with FusaBowl. However this time I ordered take out online they did not include any vegetables. I ordered the Yum Yum grilled shrimp bowl which comes with broccoli, carrots, corn and onions. All I got was shrimp, brown rice and yum yum sauce. Rating would have been a lot higher. Will be calling the manger as I did not realize this until I go UPDATE: I received a phone call from the manager maybe an hour after submitting this review. He apologized and is fixing the issue. I also received a 2nd call from another store manager who left me a voicemail. So glad to see they read these reviews and want to fix any issues. Changing rating to 4 stars from two

Never an Asian food lover, I've been getting a little more adventurous in this realm lately. This place is near our house - probably less than 10 minutes away - plus we had purchased a 3-voucher Groupon deal, so we've probably visited them the most out of all the Asian Fusion places around town. I like that you can personalize your bowl or sushi order, and their tofu is super tasty.

Crab Rangoon (2) and Japanese soda.

I have been able to eat at Fusabowl a handful of times now because it is close to my job. I have tried several different things here and mostly enjoyed all of it! Sushi, chicken or tofu bowls with rice or noodles, different drinks and appetizers. I've tried it all! Overall, this is a good restaurant. It has fast friendly service, and gives you the option to create your own bowl or sushi roll with delicious Asian ingredients. I was initially very enthralled with that idea, as it is like a Subway or Chipotle but with Asian food...I have never seen that anywhere before. Their chicken teriyaki bowl with rice or noodles is my personal favorite option. I have tried different combinations with veggies and all are good, although I have been weary of putting cheese or roasted corn in my Asian food, but it may be great!! They offer some good Japanese beverages like Japanese Ramune soda and an interesting aloe drink that tastes like Kool aid with aloe chunks in it. They also just have a standard soda fountain with Pepsi or whatever. Now, I need to write an ode to one of their appetizers here that is TO DIE FOR....every time I have eaten here, I have had the crab rangoons. And, oh my good Lord, they are divine. I am forever on the look out for good crab rangoons, and these are by far my favorite of all time!! They are perfectly fried, not too thick, not too thin on the outside, crunchy as hell, and BURSTING with delicious crab and cream cheese filling. Most places just put a dot of cream cheese into a wrapper, but at Fusabowl, they actually fill their rangoons with a nice portion of crab and cream cheese. And the filling itself is so flavorful! Sometimes you have a crab rangoon and it tastes like flavorless cream cheese, but these taste like savory crab and cheese and even a hint of onion or some sort of seasoning! They are so good. Mmm! Aside from the rangoons, I would say they don't really have that much of a selection as far as creating your own meal goes. Their sushi and bowls tend to be a little boring and bland. I'd like to see some more veggies and sauces and different kinds of meat, cooked and seasoned differently. They have a really great idea and I'd like to see them work in a few new options into their menu to really make it an excellent place to get creative fast Asian style food.

I like all the choices and glad to seafood is available. I thought it was okay for fast food. You'll probably want to familiarize yourself with the choices ahead of time because the staff can be really rushed, busy or not, and they don't offer too much help. I was confused and ended up with cheese in my bowl, which wasn't awful but not how I prefer my Asian food. I'll try the sushi next time.

He said it was superrrr hot and not good enough to get again. My friend got the amazing sweet potato roll and a spicy salmon roll. I got a salmon pistachio roll and ton kha gai soup. The salmon rolls were so bland (and oddly the soy sauce packs and spicy mayo were too) that I started questioning my taste buds and if something was wrong.

It was a cold day and I knew a nice hot pho would hit the spot! I dined in alone. Very small restaurant with 7 or so tables. The atmosphere was very quaint and peaceful but it was soon disrupted by several delivery and Togo orders walking in and out, and standing/waiting in the small space. It definitely seemed like they were priority over diners. It took a very long time to receive my food after ordering. The restaurant was empty when I came in and one family had come in a good while after me, ordered and received appetizers long before I got my dish. My pho came and the temperature was between warm and hot. Pho should come out almost (if not) steaming. As a result, the noodles had all clumped together.... I really needed it hot because I was freezing, literally the thing that urged me to come in before going home. I would have asked them to reheat it but then the noodles would be completely gross and I didn't want to risk waiting another half hour or so to remake it. I ordered spice level 4... surprisingly it was a little too much for my liking. I'm used to pho being spiced by jalapeños and they used a seasoning that gave a different kind of heat. I prefer the jalapeño. I would have overlooked these things and definitely was going to give them another try during a lunch hour, but that hauled when I received my bill. I was charged $2 more than what the phone with beef was listed on the menu. Few things irk me more than when places aren't transparent with their prices, straight out overcharging than advertised. Only if they'd make this right I'd give them another chance.

I would recommend erring on the side of lower spice with the option to add. We took home an order of Singapore Noodles to share for supper tomorrow along with our leftovers. I snuck a taste before putting it away and it's delicious! Looking forward to another visit soon and I think I'll try one of their cocktails. Highly recommended!
