This is my second time carrying out food from this place and I've had no luck. The first time was somewhat okay, I ended up just eating the write rice. And my second time, I ordered three rolls, only had 2 rolls and they were not what I ordered. Also the white rice was bland and not well cooked. Im new to Cincinnati so I am going around trying to find good eats. I like sushi (nigiri) so I thought I would give this place a try. Its small but I still opted for eat-in. Has 5 total tables. I got the sushi lunch which is 5 pieces (only 3 are sushi) miso soup, salad and a California roll for $10. I had them upgrade the roll for me to spicy crab for a $2 up charge. Can't say I recommend it. Everything is served on or in styrofoam with cheap plastic silverware with zero effort put towards presentation. I used chopsticks. Salad was a small handful of iceberg lettuce on a plate. Miso was surprisingly unremarkable. The 3 pieces of nigiri (tuna, white fish and possibly white tuna) were freezer cold on a small round ball of rice that was also cold. Definitely not grade A quality. The other two pieces were egg and a strip of artificial crab. Both were bland. The roll was tiny and loosely packed with big gaps in the rice wrap. The whole thing reminded me of eating China Star Buffet sushi minus all of the buffet food. I will not be back. read more

First thing we noticed walking in is how clean this place is. We ate in and the staff was great. The food came out quickly at appropriate stages. Very nice but small atmosphere (4 tables right now). The kimchi soup is amazing. Perfect blend of spicy and sour. The lunch sushi was fresh with a very lightly seasoned rice. Overall they are trying to accentuate the food, not cover it up. The miso soup is very simple but good. Our only complaint is that the hot and sour soup was a little bland. My wife is a hot and sour soup connoisseur. I thought it was OK. The hot tea was green tea, and actually tasted like green tea. Overall a great experience. Definitely would recommend checking this place out. I used to love this spot for the decent sushi at a reasonable price but after my recent visit I will never be back. Staff was unfriendly, salad was dripping wet and soggy, miso was gross, and sushi was not the decent food I've had previously. We ordered takeout. Initially, we wanted to have it delivered but DoorDash was going to charge us an extra $25 for our food so we opted to go and pick it up ourselves. We got exactly what we ordered. It was made and packed nicely. The house salad was meh but the yaki udon was good. We recommend the crispy roll. The dragon roll was also good. The prices are lower than most sushi places so I'm not sure what anyone is expecting to get. I feel that we got what we paid for. I was actually pleasantly surprised. This is a nice sushi bar, I was expecting to go to a franchise type of sushi bar. (Nothing is wrong with the franchise spots).This is a mom and pop sushi bar, small and the staff was friendly. My friend ordered Sunday morning and a side salad. I ordered spicy vegetarian roll and vegetable fried rice and hot green tea. The food was accurate and delicious. The service was great and did not have to wait long. The green tea taste did not taste like I would need to run to the restroom and lose a few pounds. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that love sushi. read more

We were waiting on our car to get done from the garage and decided to grab a small bite to eat. We drove through Stone Creek Plaza and saw this little Sushi place and thought we would try it. I wish I would have turned around and left on my first gut impression. My first bad impression was when we walked into a small little place that looked to be dirty and thrown together without pride. It was your basic strip mall Chinese place with about 10 tables. My second bad impression was when the lady got rude with me because I took a place mat/ menu off of the table next to me since I didn't have one - she literally yanked it out of my hand and said 'no, no'. My third bad impression was when I got my food. The Hot and Sour soup was nothing more than thin chicken broth with some tofu and mushrooms thrown in. I'm not sure what happened to the hot and sour part. My beef on a stick was very dry and was just thrown on the plate - again without any kind of elegance to it. With all of the great Sushi places we have around the Tri-state, this one really shouldn't call themselves a Sushi Restaurant. They should be called "Bland China Food" Bottom Line: I do not plan to go there again - unless my fellow Food Yelper would like to have a showdown sine she gave it a high rating. read more

This is a cute little place tucked into a small stop mall off of Colerain ave. I'm not a big sushi fan but my husband is. If you do not like the green seaweed wrap that comes inlay seaweed try something wrapped in soybean paper. The pink lady is safe it has cooked shrimp, cream cheese, asparagus wrapped in rice and the soybean wrap. The staff is very friendly at this place. Most places give you a lot of food with your meal, the portions are smaller here. Not many options in the area for sushi and this may be your only choice. They have other items on he menu like pad ti, Mongolian beef. Slightly expensive when you look at your portion but I will return because it is close fast and friendly. read more

I work out in the Forest Park area and those that follow me on Twitter hear my complaints about the lack of non-chain eating options here, especially more ethnic ones. I've passed Fusion Wok a number of times and finally went in for lunch. I so should have made it here sooner. What a nice surprise! It's a small restaurant, with maybe a dozen tables. The atmosphere is something akin to many a strip center Asian place. Not all that exciting, but the food is why you'll want to come here. I was quickly greeted and offered something to drink. I ordered some miso soup to start and it was plenty hot. I found it to not be quite as salty as I've experienced in other places, not a bad thing really. For the sushi, I ordered the spicy crunchy tuna roll. For such a simple roll, it was very tasty! Soup was $1.50, roll was $6.95. Can't beat that at all. I look forward to returning and trying some of the special rolls and other dishes. read more

Chicken and shrimp in our dishes were not fresh. The pad Thai was had NO spice. I had shrimp and chicken teriyaki . It was cold. The shrimp was Fishe tasting and overcooked and the chicken tasted funny. I am giving up on this place. I have tried this place 3 times and it is out! Now maybe I've just been spoiled by Mr. Sushi and Dancing Wasabi, but this was on Soho Sushi level with Mr. Sushi pricing - only without the awesome side salad and the spicy mayo was more mayo than spicy. It might be fair to say that this is the white suburban man's sushi joint since they covered my sushi in what was basically discolored mayonaise. So, if you're really in the mood for sushi and are in the burbs and not looking for a wait, this place will do in a pinch. read more

Yelp led me to this small Asian joint in Colerain. The menu seemed too good to be true at first: so many choices from so many types of Asian cooking. I tried a variety of items from all over the menu. The verdict: delicious. The foods tasted fresh and smartly prepared. My favorite dishes were the pork bun, pork katsu, pad thai, and sushi selections. I have only two complaints: slow service and dirty tables on crowded evenings. Only one waitress served the entire restaurant the night I ate here. Obviously, I had to wait for service and tables remained dirty until they had to be cleaned for new customers. First of all we love this place for take out,, the food is good & the price is right, but I'm writing a review to warn you, DO NOT DINE IN. It's March 2021 and they allow indoor dining & BYOB- But, be prepared to wash your own table, serve yourself, stand in line with those picking up take out orders to receive the basics- napkins, chop sticks, extra bowl for edamame shells. I got so tired of having to stand in line and ask for to go boxes, water, etc. It got to the point where we were using Kleenex out of our purses because we didn't dare ask for napkins. They also forgot our rice and served one person at our table like 20 minutes after the rest of us. So, we really loved this place but if your going to treat your dine in customers like a burden- DON'T OFFER DINE IN. The sushi looked very nice, but very bland. Ordered the volcano roll thinking it was going to be spicy, but it wasn't at all. My 8 year old help me eat it, that is how spicy it was. If you're not looking for a wide variety of favors this is your place. If you expect different rolls to have different flavors then you may want to skip this place. It was very clean and the orderly, but service was lacking almost like were a pain, I kept thinking we were there too close to closing time. I appreciated how seriously they take social distancing for COVID-19, by creating a partition at the front door for guests to order and pick up meals. The customer service was very good, and the food was prepared in less than 15 minutes. My fiancé and I ordered a Sunday morning roll, crispy roll, shrimp tempura, and tempura vegetables. The meal also came with complementary white rice, ginger salad, and miso soup. The food overall was just okay.
