    Hibachi chicken and rice
    Janae T.

I was craving hibachi this day so I said why not I stopped by hibachi express and I'm pretty sure I got the hibachi chicken and rice with vegetables. Which was pretty good. I didn't order yum yum or anything but I'm sure it came with the food. The place was pretty spacious and had a few tables for dining. The place was pretty good just your basic hibachi. Nothing that stood out that much

The interior is clean, and the booths are spacious and comfortable. However, this is clearly more of a takeout spot, it's not ideal for large groups unless you're okay with splitting up into separate booths. The menu offers a good variety for both vegetarians and meat lovers, which is a plus. Unfortunately, the food itself lacked seasoning and flavor. I ordered the broccoli hibachi with noodles, and what I received was steamed broccoli with a few green onions and barely any sesame seeds. The broccoli was bland, and because it was simply steamed, the teriyaki sauce didn't adhere to it at all. The noodles were the best part, but even those seemed to be boiled and lightly tossed in sauce, no grill marks, no char, just a soft texture with minimal flavor. The photo speaks for itself. I also tried the boneless hot honey and buffalo wings. They tasted like frozen wings with store-bought sauce poured over them. Unfortunately, they went straight in the trash, no photos of those. The California rolls were the only highlight, though they felt overpriced for what you get: imitation crab, avocado, and cucumber. To top it off, the service was underwhelming. The woman at the register didn't take the time to explain the menu or the different options and made me feel like I was a bother for asking questions. Overall, I wouldn't drive 30 minutes again to eat here. It gave off mall food court vibes, but without the bold flavors you'd expect--even the basics lacked seasoning.

2 beef & chicken teriyaki combos

We stopped in here on a whim and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. For the price, we got SO much food. We bought 2 teriyaki combos and it was enough for myself, my husband, my 3 year old, and we took some home for leftovers. The staff were very friendly and nice, though they definitely didn't speak much English, which generally wasn't a problem but I wasn't able to get answers about what sauces they used when I was asking about an allergy. We had a short wait and the tables (and whole restaurant) were very clean. The food was really delicious and my husband, who is not adventurous with food repeatedly thanked me for pulling me out of his comfort zone and having him try a new place because we loved it so much!

First time eating here. This place just recently opened. This restaurant the Former location of firehouse subs, in the Springdale shopping center containing McDonald's, Jared Jewelers, Hobby Lobby. Rather nice looking place and there's one special round seating area for a larger party. Person at register may be busy keying in orders which came in via phone or app, so you may need to wait a couple minutes before you can get their attention to place your order. Don't be startled by the payment system. It's set to high volume so you'll easily hear when it's time to remove your debit/credit card. I didn't learn about it until I asked about it on my way out, but they have a Rewards Loyalty card they can hand you that's eligible for your next visit to earn points over time to get money off future visits. Either bring this card with you and let them know about it or provide them the Order No. from the card at time of purchase. Printed receipt is nice fontsize and you're given it because it has your order # printed on it. There's a sign showing the orders being prepared vs those that are ready. Once your order is ready they'll either verbally yell out your order number, or may even use their PA system to announce your order number. I came in just before the big dinner rush, which included maybe four or five delivery pick ups (They support Uber Eats, GRUBHUB, and DOORDASH). Menu is pretty easy to read, and pick between a Teriyaki meal or a Bento Box with accompanying sides and sauces. You can optionally grab one of their take out menus. Nitpicky but the word "Avocado" was misspelled as "Avacado". My order was a Bento Box containing Salmon and Shrimp with Noodles, Veggies, California Roll, Spring Rolls x2, Dumplings x2. I took a break from my usual soda to get a cup of water. You'll get a small cup for water that can be refilled at the Soda Station for free. Soda station has Coke products. The salmon and shrimp was tasty, and that along with the noodles was tasty and hot. The veggies were tasty but significantly cooled off to near room temperature. Spring rolls were OK but nothing special. Dumplings (aka pot stickers) were OK. California Roll sushi was all right, and comes with pickled ginger and wasabi. I got Yummy sauce (basically a watery version of Yum Yum Sauce). Other sauces you can get (in packets) include Soy Sauce, Duck Sauce, Mustard, and Hot Sauce. On the way out, one of the staff climbed a ladder out front at night, to fix the one end of the banner that was coming down. I offered to hold the ladder for him. I felt bad he didn't have an assist, someone to watch his back, if you will. He declined, and I couldn't help but feel nervous for him. He was even starting to use the top rung, and as someone who is certified in OSHA 10 Workplace Safety, it made me cringe. Overall, a decent visit. My first time there, as mentioned. I found it on the pricier side though it seems like so many restaurants are wanting to charge $9-15 these days. If I revisit I'll try and use the Loyalty Rewards card. Finally as a heads up they don't have company guest WiFi. There's the jewelry place WiFi that I couldn't log in. There's McDonald's WiFi you can't log into unless you're a McDonald's employee. So expect to use cellular service and get no WiFi while dining there.

The food was good but we did not receive the sushi roll (Cherry Blossom) with the delivery by Door Dash. Not a Door Dash issue.

While I understand that restaurants are declining for multiple reasons, it's still easy to keep them clean and to provide good service. Rosa was so rude. The traffic is not the same there, so you would think they would do what they could to make the experience a pleasant one. She basically told us we didn't have to eat there and we could leave, all because we weren't happy with the wait time (my friend had been there 30 minutes before me), it was cold, and she couldn't get the special from the hibachi table. Some people just shouldn't be in the customer service/hospitality business if they really don't want to deal with people. It was freezing in there and there was a sign on the door telling people to bundle up! Food specials were not honored because people weren't ordering it from the bar area. But there literally was NO HEAT. At least you could get some heat from the hibachi table. The special should have been honored due to the fact that people decided to still eat there even in the frigid temperature. I hadn't been to Benihana in a long time, and it's experiences like this that reminded me of WHY. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the other hostess did try to seat us quickly.

I specifically ordered well drinks, but I was charged for top-shelf liquor instead. On top of that, the drinks tasted extremely weak, as if they barely contained any alcohol. My adult sister and I were both properly ID'd and legally drinking. At one point, we exchanged drinks so we could each taste what the other had ordered. The server then approached the table in a rude manner, asking who was "passing drinks around" because the bartender had seen it. What bothered me most was that he did not address the people actually involved. Instead, he confronted other members of our party. The way the situation was handled felt unnecessary, unprofessional, and embarrassing. The food was decent but overpriced for what it was. What really crossed the line, however, was the server's behavior after I left. I left a cash tip, yet the server reportedly complained to the rest of my party and claimed that I hadn't tipped at all. That was both inaccurate and highly unprofessional. For the amount of money spent, I expected much better service, better communication, and a more professional attitude. Spending over $100 for one person should come with a much better experience than this. Unfortunately, this visit was not worth the price, and I would think twice before returning. also, I forgot to add that we had reservations for 7 PM and we did not get chefs until 9 PM and we finally were able to leave around 10 to 10:30 PM.

What we ate: Rabokki: Basically ramen + dubbokki (spicy rice cakes). Large portion, spiced just right, and everything was cooked to just the right texture. Samgyupsal: Seasoned sliced pork belly. Perfectly crispy, seasoned well, served with ssamjang and lettuce to make the perfect bite. Seafood pancake: This was a LARGE portion!! Nice amount of crispness, could have used a little more seafood, but otherwise tasty. And the was plenty of banchan, which they refilled for us. Additionally, we heard the server helping out another table with what to order. So super beginner friendly if you don't know a lot about Korean food! The only disappointment is that they no longer serve galbi, which I was craving!

I ordered the Shoyu Ramen and added an extra egg to it, I love the soft boiled eggs in any ramen, and a spice level of 1. After ordering my food came within ten minutes. It was astonishingly fast. It came out hot and looked so good. The eggs were perfectly soft boiled, the pork was tender, the broth was flavorful and the perfect level of spice. The noodles were super good and all together it was a great bowl. The portion sizes were huge so I took the rest home for leftovers. My server checked on me often and was very attentive.
