We had some time to kill before our flight on our last day in Philly, so we decided to check out…read morethe Liberty Flea Market at the pier. It was a bit smaller than we expected, but we really enjoyed it. There was a nice variety of unique vendors, and everyone in our group ended up finding something they loved. My sons picked up a cool vintage jersey, a vintage shirt, and a locally created independent comic book, while I found a beautiful pair of handmade earrings. The atmosphere was one of the best parts. The music playing in the background created a fun, laid-back vibe that made it a great place to stroll around and browse. If you have some free time while you're in Philadelphia, it's definitely worth checking out.

After some online research, Cactus Collective made the list, along with many other gems in Queen Village, and I'd have to say I had my best scores there. The two ladies working there were very warm and inviting when I entered, but also were cool with giving me my space to dig around--I never felt pressured, which I've found most helpful when perusing unique vintage items. The store has a very distinctive Southwestern personality that sets it apart from other vintage stores in the city. Though it's a small space, the clothes, accessories, and gifts were all merchandised in a way to make the customer feel as if they're shopping in someone's private closet. Later, after following the store on Instagram, I had questions about some items I was interested in buying via their online store. I received quick responses and the owner was patient with all my questions, and they shipped my item within 24 hours. No doubt will I be buying from CC again, and I'm already looking forward to my next Philly trip so that I can revisit in person.
