I went in to Stiles Jewelry to consult with them about the repair and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. On the verge of tears, I showed themmy sad little bangle and the owner immediately gave suggestions. While saudering was the last thing on my list, I was desperate to wear it again. Before I could agree to the repair, the owner pulled up the Gucci website and was writing down phone numbers. Before they make the repair, the owner suggested I contact the Gucci corporate office for the repair. Having already asked Gucci at Phipps to replace the broken piece, I thought it was a dead end. She was encouraging and told me to go to the top to get it fixed or even replaced. I only wish I got her name! It's not everyday that you are in a business and the owner is actually giving away business! I appreciate her looking out for me and giving me such a great idea! In the end, her suggestion worked. Gucci replaced my bangle for a new one. While I also had a few watch batteries replaced while I was at Stiles, I was blown away by their above and beyond customer service. It's refreshing to see a business actually look out for its customers.

Working 70 hours per week allowed very little time to bring it in to be fixed but I finally had a day to do that today. Spoke with Amanda who had to ask Chelsea if it was ok to send back. She tried to charge me an additional $40 to have it sized again! After asking if they only honor their repair work for less than a year they asked if I wanted to send it in or not. I declined and stated I no longer trusted them with my precious jewelry and an apology would have been appropriate at this point but she couldn't even offer that to me. Very poor customer service and awful business standards.

My wife's wedding ring had developed some nicks and cracks over the past decade and some change. We had taken it to several jewelers, all of whom said fixing it wasn't possible. When I came here, they had the same diagnosis as everybody else but a much different prognosis. Rob, one of the master jewelers, was excited at the chance to fix the ring up. He and Kathy explained to me everything that they would need to do and gave me a walking-out-the-door cost; no surprises. When I got the ring back a few weeks later, it was a piece of art. Really. The detail and love Rob had put into it was clear, as was his well-earned pride in his craftsmanship. The ring look even better than it did when it was first made almost twenty years ago. This is a place that puts love into their pieces, listens to their customers, educates their customers (I can't say how much I appreciate their explanations), and does excellent work. They went on to give me some tips about cleaning the ring, and they boxed it up very beautifully. This place is a great secret that I hope more people learn about. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Since the estimate is free I to her to do the estimate and she said it would be ready in a few days that was on a Friday today is Thursday I called the store to see if I could pick up my watch the girl I talked to was having a problem finding my watch she said can I call you back in a few mins I said ok that was 30 mins ago still haven't heard back from her.

It is exactly why we are such strong supporters of local small business. Their store was immaculate and very well organized. They were all so knowledgeable about everything and so patient with us. Brady was the main person helping us, but every person there, jumped in at some point and helped us out. It's just like a family does.
