Having two small children "spend their day off at dentist" we were honestly dreading the wait; however, this dentist office was ready for us! They have a great immediate wait room but the icing on cake is the wait room for families in the back. It's close to where dental work is being performed. Dr. Lamendola and his staff of hygienists and office crew are bar none the best in Ascension! I started out seeing Dr. Whiteside and when she switched practices, I began seeing Dr. Bourgeois. I have some of the worst anxiety about going to the dentist and this place goes out of their way to ensure their patients are comfortable. The environment itself is cool, clean, and calming (nice soothing music playing). You can get a weighted blanket, ear plugs with music playing, and there are TVs in each room to hold your attention elsewhere. Years ago, I remember even being offered paraffin wax treatments for my hands during my appointment! While they haven't offered me that in years, it was amazing and also did a good job of distracting me! I refuse to go elsewhere! If you're not 100% comfortable and 110% pleased with your dentist, scurry on over to Lamendola's and let them pamper you AND your smile!

I was told they had multiple appt times available. We chose 2pm. I set everything up with the woman on the phone and she told us to arrive at 1:45 to do paperwork. Sounded great. About 30 mins later, I got a call from a different number, another lady from their office saying she needed to verify some info about the appt. She asked about what my husband needed and confirmed that he was cash pay. She then said his appt was at 1:30 and we needed to arrive at 1:15. I hung up and called back to confirm if the appt time was at 1:30 or 2. The same woman (Tracy) said the appt was for 2 but we could come at 1:45. So we arrived around 1:30 anyway. My husband filled out the papers and waited. Multiple people were taken back before him. A little after 2 he asked the women at the desk how long it would be. They told him that they were just running behind and that it would be a little longer. So he waited. Around 2:30, he asked again and was told that his appt was actually for 4pm so he would have to wait. He got irritated and stated how we were told his appt was for 2. Another lady jumped in and said that she heard them this morning book the appt for 2 so she didn't understand why they were saying 4. Anyway, he complained so a few mins later they brought him back and did xrays only to tell him they couldn't do his cleaning that he asked for because they were trying to make him get a bunch of other more expensive services when all he wanted was a basic cleaning. So I guess the $129 service that we were quoted for over the phone wasn't enough and they wanted more. Well, they got nothing and lost a patient. Super unprofessional and unorganized!

I had some concerns about the extractions because my son had to get five teeth pulled. The dentist was amazing, he explained everything, he made sure my son was very comfortable, and that he didn't feel a thing.
