Dylan was fantastic, came to our home to fix a cast-iron clawfoot tub leg that didn't want to stay…read morein place. Ours was an original tub from when the house was built 1880s. After a floor renovation and new tile backsplash we attempted to re-install the tub but found one leg would not hold and the other was floating 1" in the air. This also explained the previous wood block propping the tub against back wall which with new tile was no longer an option. When plumber connected the tub we left it on wooden risers but even that was not stable. When I called Dylan and explained all the details he was kind, understanding, thorough and engaged. He even reassured me a few days later enroute "not to worry, I have an entire shop in my truck - ill make it work". On arrival he listened and worked openly with me. After some investigation he found someone in the last 100yrs apparently grounds down the top of the one foot. He used a stick welder in the rain to add material back to that foot and "Hazah" it worked. On the other foot he attached an adjustable furniture foot. Dylan made it all look easy breezy and even guaranteed his work. Friendly fabrication usually does larger scale custom projects (gates/furniture) from the shop but I was in a predicament and Dylan knew he could help. He went over and above to make sure we were ok. I'm eternally grateful for your skill, courtesy and expeditious work. Your "make it happen" attitude turned my concern of a tub (and person) falling through the floor onto the table below into a funny idea rather than an actual nightmare. - Thank you
