I am a Local, so it is always great to see new businesses opening, and Fusion is one of them. I recently rented a Presidential Suite for my wife's Birthday Party. The room is so elegant and beautiful. The Staff is also wonderful. I dealt with Diana in the reception office and she was so professional and caring for what I needed for this special occasion. The Rooftop bar has breathtaking views especially that night with a full moon. I highly recommend the Hotel for any occasion. Great place! read more

Beware!!!! This was the worst possible NYE event that I have ever attended. It was not at all as advertised. We had a large friend group. We had friends in from Michigan, Bradenton, Sarasota & St. Pete. We were really looking forward to a special evening. It started out that it was raining. Although we understood the management cannot possibly control the weather. They could have pushed some of the water away so there wasn't standing water with women in high heels, dressed for ringing in the new year. It felt unsafe!!! People were not dancing because of it. The venue stated inside/outside & with the rain and water it was just miserable and cold. The music was terrible. The songs were very dull & or depressing for a New Year's party. Several people asked if we could have some upbeat music or if the woman took requests & the answer was maybe later. The food advertised was supposed to be a charcuterie and spoon appetizers. Instead, it was cheese with crackers & a small plastic cup with ahi tuna in it. Overall it was a total let down for $200.00 a couple the management should be embarrassed having provided this terrible experience. Not one person was happy with this experience. Such a shame because we live here & we're hoping that this could be a new tradition! read more

Fusion Resort was beautiful. My husband and I went over to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in a gorgeous 3 bedroom spacious suite with amazing views. While there we went to the bar had a few drinks and enjoyed a few appetizers of meatballs and lobster macaroni cheese. The staff was friendly and told us there are bicycles available for our use & also let us know they offer a shuttle if we would like to go down to the beach. Looking forward to going back on December 13 for the lighted up boat parade. read more

Fusion failure 12/5/2020. Fusion held a Treasure Island Holiday Boat Parade Viewing party. We went as 2 couples at 5 PM to get a seat to watch the parade as night fell. Beginning at 1 PM the Premium ticket at $28.16 a piece included live music and passed appetizers on the rooftop. We were surprised that closer attention was not made about mask wearing in close public areas. Also a very drunk patron was anxious to talk to everyone extremely close and she fell down more than once. The roof top was chilly and people huddled under 2 gas heaters. Music by Daniel Childs was very good. The view was good. The bar was cash. The appetizers were scanty, we each had a dry mini-quiche with an extremely hot sauce and a piece of toast with corn. That was it for the $112 dollars we spent, not including drinks Plus $25.00 for parking. We did not look to see what kind of view the Standard $10 ticket had (music, no apps). There was no apparent manager monitoring guest, making sure the heaters were appropriately place and perhaps getting more. The appetizers were an embarrassment. We departed once the parade left our viewing area, perhaps the boats made a second pass. We then had a nice meal at the Pearl. Next year we are going to the parking lot at Publix, buy appetizers there for less money and much better quality and watch the parade from their parking lot. read more

This place was the worst!!!!!!! We were supposed to have our wedding weekend there but got KICKED OUT before we could enjoy the place for the weekend! 8 months before the wedding was the first time we got in contact with someone on the events team. At this point we just gave up on getting married there because they never got back to us. We wanted to talk to someone about setting up a room block for us and our guests from out of town. We received a quote from Monika and we made our final decision to go with the Fusion about a month later. When we contacted them to book our room block we were told that basically the entire staff was fired and the new contact we would be working with was Emily. They were calling themselves Fusion 2.0. At first emily seemed great. We did a walk through and told her about our plans to hold a pool party on the Sunday following our wedding. She said that would be great and that they would move a bar down at the pool for our guests. But at this point they never once mentioned that they had strict rules about the number of people allowed in rooms and the noise ordinances they want to maintain. So we go with Fusion and tell our guests who are coming from out of town to stay at our "room block". As we have now found out, our guests had many troubles booking a room at the hotel. One of our guests was told that all of our rooms in our block were full. The bride was notified and she called to extend the amount of rooms that would be blocked under her name. When she talked to the events team they told the bride that no one had even booked a room under our name and that the room block was not correctly set up. ( this was only weeks away from our wedding) We knew that at this point we had at least 5 rooms that were booked by friends and family! This was our first major red flag. Another wedding guest tried to stay in the fusion hotel and get our room discount for an entire week and was ghosted just like we were when trying to inquire about holding the wedding at the hotel. The Hotel staff simply never responded and they had to find a hotel for the week in a different location. All of these red flags happened before we checked in. Once we checked in we had a whole slew of issues go wrong for our wedding guests and ourselves. The maid of honor was almost charged five rooms because for some reason her booking duplicated in the system many times they were going to charge her for 5 no shows even though she never booked 5 rooms. When we arrived we found out that the guest in our wedding "room block" including the maid of honor was on the opposite end of the hotel on a different floor. Our other guests were scattered all throughout several floors and we were not near each other at all. This was severely disappointing because the people who were here out of town celebrating our wedding we're meant to be around us so we can spend the weekend with our friends and family. Instead we were spread out all across the hotel. This was the root to where all the issues the rest of the night occurred. We had a wonderful wedding and after the wedding we wanted to continue to catch up with our friends and family from out of town and we came back to our hotel room to celebrate. We were all enjoying ourselves on the patio, listening to music, catching up. At that point we were told that we got our first noise complaint. They told this to a guest of ours and never talked to the renters of the room. At this point we brought everyone inside and turned the music off, continuing conversations and catching up. After this the hotel staff apparently came a second time. Once again the hotel staff did not talk to the people renting the room. Instead they must have talked to a guest of ours who then slipped back to their own room. We proceeded to just talk and laugh with our guests and then they came back a third time. The bride and the groom were notified to come to the door. (First time that any staff talked to the renters) The night manager then proceeded to tell us that we were being kicked out on our wedding night! We were so confused. We were told a first time by a guest but at this point had no clue about the second warning. We then asked, if everyone in the room beside the bride and the groom leave can we stay the night? They responded with you have 20 minutes to remove your belongings or we will call the cops! Thank God we are locals doing a staycation for our wedding day. But we were now thrown the huge stress of getting our stuff packed and getting home safely at 2:00am on the night of our wedding. We then tried to call the following two days and not a single person from the hotel answered their phones. We tried calling Emily's number directly and it appeared to be blocked and went straight to voicemail. We tried to call the front desk and no one would pick up. They completely chose to ignore us even though we left voicemails and sent emails. We had to wait until Wednesday the following week to hear. read more

What a gorgeous property in Treasure Island! It is wonderful to have a kitchen, living area, balcony & separate bedrooms & baths. New & sparkling with top-notch restaurant on sight (try the fish tacos!) Also, you don't have to stray further than the rooftop for the best daily happy hours in town. Book now & you won't be disappointed. Luxurious comfortable beds, excellent service throughout & convenient to the nightlife of St Pete Beach or downtown St Pete. Also, just a walk across the street to the Treasure Island promenade for fabulous sunsets & beach fun. read more

We were thrilled with the rooms and sweeping views of the Intracoastal waterway. Such a great place to stay even if it isn't directly on the beach. So the Fusion will be as surprised as I was for the measly 3 stars instead of 5 I would have expected to give. However, I don't want anyone else to be surprised with all the upcharges once you check in. First, you are only allowed one car (might be tough if you're a big group in a 3 bedroom) and you are charged an extra $25 per car extra. I don't even know if that is per your stay duration (reasonable because it is a small parking lot). Or $25 a night. The reason I don't know is because the answer depended on which staff member you talked to that day. Seemed to be a common theme. Staff training and communication must be badly managed. Second, we were charged an extra $20 per person over 2 people in a THREE BEDROOM!! Really? How many people do they expect to stay in these large accommodations? Why wouldn't that be automatically included in the price? And to be told you should be asking the "right questions" before you book is disingenuous. How would one even know to ask and why wouldn't that be listed somewhere before you book? Again, I suspect this place needs some better management as the story and policies keep shifting. Not a great way to begin a business only one year old. I would have given an absolutely glowing review if it weren't for these issues. I hope the Fusion makes it but they need to re-think a few of their polices and please train your inconsistent staff. read more

We had a blast on our 1 night staycation, here! Check in process was smooth, room was awesome (props to the terrazzo themed dish ware) and the rooftop bar was amazing! We met Kevin and were so impressed with his keen sense of hospitality, humor and wanting to make sure the guests were having a blast! Kevin is the man! I recently stayed at the fusion resort and had an awful experience at every point. First when I booked I got a girl who was new and didn't really know what she was doing so booking alone took about 20 mins and it wasn't a very friendly booking experience. No worries people have bad days especially when they're new I moved past it. Then the day before we arrive I call to confirm and they have my reservation messed up, I wish I could say I was surprised. Finally we go and check in and that was relatively smooth with the young man helping us but there was what I assume was a manager in a side room yelling and that was pretty unprofessional in my opinion. Oh well moving on! So we go about getting situated and want to go hit the hot tub because if you look at pics it seems amazing right?! Well you can't use it after dark so if you check in right at 4, check in time, then you better book it to hit the pool or hot tub before they close at dark! (5:30 in the winter) We tried to get food there but that too was closed! The next day we wanted to relax and hit the hot tub and pool that we didn't get to use and were met with another hurdle! We had requested a late check out upon booking and again at check in so we could grab breakfast and then have time to swim for a bit and we were assured we would have one... but come morning no late check out and an extremely rude receptionist who wouldn't do anything to help with this issue. After making it into a huge deal we got our check out bumped back a single hour... which took 30 mins to get. This hotel looks amazing online and like a really fun place to be but as a local I would recommended 100's of places I've personally stayed at over this place! It's too far off the beach to be offering such horrible service and amenities. The only thing this place has going for it are the men that meet you in the parking garage to help with luggage (they were awesome) Save the headache and disappointment and book elsewhere!!!! read more

Fusion Resort was just awesome my wife and I loved our suite and our friends said they have never seen a better view...we agreed!! Happy hour was everyday and very good and reasonable! They have many tapas appetizers and fun bites! We look forward to going back for Halloween party on Saturday in rooftop bar...we also booked for boat parade in December...what a view...highly recommend! James B read more

I wanted to love this place so badly as I have anxiously watched it be built. When I heard it had a rooftop bar, I was very excited. My boyfriend lives in Treasure Island and we frequently go to downtown St. Pete to enjoy the rooftops there, but to have a closer option would be awesome. We stopped by on Sunday late afternoon after their opening on Friday. Knowing they had just opened, we expected some kinks and were okay with that. We parked under the hotel and went to the elevator. There was no directory as to where things were located, but having heard it was a rooftop bar, we pressed 6 for the top floor. A maid got on the elevator and we asked her where the rooftop bar was. She told us the 2nd floor. That seemed odd, but we got off and saw the check-in desk. We asked the girls sitting there and they confirmed the 6th floor. We took the stairs this time to the 6th floor. There were tables and chairs, but no bar: (. We walked back to the check-in desk on the 2nd floor. I asked for clarification as to where the location of the rooftop bar was. Another girl came in looking a little embarrassed and explained that the rooftop bar wasn't actually open due to some "issues" that she didn't go into. She suggested we come back the following weekend when it was expected to be open. We were also told it wasn't going to be an actual bar on the rooftop, rather a portable bar. That is kind of disappointing because there is a need for a rooftop bar in Treasure Island, not to mention, the Fusion has an idea location. She also told us there was a bar open on the 2nd floor outside the check-in area. Since we were there, we decided to check it out. It was very new and modern looking inside. There were two bars -- one serving drinks and the other backed up to the kitchen which is very small but completely in view. There were a few small tables scattered around the room. The service staff was attentive and personable. I found them to be the best part of the whole experience. Hopefully, the hotel will take note of some of the suggestions. I am anxious to visit again. read more

!!NO STARS!! !WORST RESORT IN THE BAY! What was supposed to be a great weekend of relaxation and fun, turned into an INVASION OF OUR PRIVACY! Looks are definitely deceiving with this newly established resort. What started off with a headache of a check in process, which we got past the moment it was over giving the benefit of the doubt that it's a new place, turned into a COMPLETE VIOLATION OF OUR PRIVACY! The staff admitted to coming into our room, with the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign posted on the outside of the door while we went to ride the facilities bikes, which were AWFUL and 100% unsafe and unregulated from flat tires to faulty equipment. Worse bike ride of my life to say the least. They told us they took pictures of our medicine and of our belongings and our rooms and accused us of smoking inside the suites without any real proof even after invading our privacy. Even with our medical card, and explaining nothing was done inside the facility or even on the premises, the owner and manager both were disrespectful, rude, and violated our rights as customers and just as normal cooperative human beings that will gladly come to an agreement on the misunderstanding. There was no apology given to us by any of the staff, instead we were trespassed for literally nothing. We were trespassed by st.pete law enforcement while other guest are smoking marijuana at that time. We got kicked out, while others got to stay and not face the same inhumane treatment over an explainable and legal situation. We will NOT give the Fusion Resort any of our further business And will let all those around us know about our treatment during our stay. !WORST RESORT IN THE BAY! read more

My family and I came by to check out this new resort on Treasure Island. We enjoyed dinner at the Vibes cafe. The meatballs, shrimp and stuffed mushrooms were delicious. Our server Julie was very friendly and energetic. The views are amazing and we loved the atmosphere. We checked out the rooftop bar which had a band for their Halloween party. We will definitely be back to stay longer. If you are in the area I would check this place out! Great VIBES :). read more

I stayed in this resort for my sister's wedding and was told when I made my reservation (4 months prior) that I would be staying next to the bride (Since we were getting ready in my room before the wedding). When I arrived at the resort I was told that even though we were ensured a room block that all 10 of our rooms were in different locations. When I noted to the receptionist that that was incorrect she told me there were no rooms near the bride and that I would have to speak to the manager (Jared Russ). There was a manager in the office when the issue arose at the front desk but he decided to stay in his office instead of speak with me. I have reached out to Jared via email and have not received a response. It is a shame because the resort is nice but when I am spending almost $300 a night I aspect to get what I was guaranteed. The wedding weekend was ruined by the facility and I hope that no other guest is treated how we were. read more
