Just before Christmas, I needed to get out of New England because of the cold setting in. And there's no better destination than Page Terrace here on Treasure Island. Check in with the owners was a breeze. They are so polite. They're so gracious and welcoming. I booked a king size oceanfront room, which included a kitchenette. This was a small refrigerator, microwave toaster, coffee, maker, and sink and counter area. It was just perfect. The king size bed is comfortable, not too soft, not too hard, and the pillows were just right. Almost new I liked the high thread count on the sheets. The bathroom was redone after the storms and was well appointed and very comfortable. If you are coming to treasure Island or Saint Pete Beach, please consider this place as your home away from home. I simply love it here. The pool was nice and clean as usual, just a little cool because of the December weather I look forward to coming back in March read more

The Page Terrace was a great place to Stay in a great location in relation to the Beach.it is a short walking distance to Publix , Walgreens , Restaurents @ Bars with Entertainment. The kind women at the desk were helpful, accommodating, and very hard working. The owners son, Arther, was forthright and honest . I communicated with him about hotel and Beach conditions after theSept. 2023 Hurricane. Arthur provided condition updates and pictures. The pool is not the largest but it is kept up beautifully and was very adequate. My room faced the gulf with a balcony and it was impeccably clean.Their maintenance man is on key with upkeep and any service that needs to be addressed. He even went above and beyond the call of duty , delivering a lime , sliced and ready to use in our Coronas. Keith is awesome! overall, it is a great friendly, clean family run Business. During Labor Day weekend we stayed here for the course of 4 days 3 nights. We had easy access to the beach and a beautiful view. When checking in and checking out the staff was extremely friendly. Overall we had a very good stay and enjoyed using the pool and beach. The reason for 3 stars is the cleanliness of the room we stayed and the fact that there is no elevator in this facility. Our room was okay, the bathroom had a smell of urine.. we also found a booger on our window YUCK. Lastly was the elevator issue.. we had so much trouble lugging all our beach things up and down the stairs. Not having an elevator was very inconvenient. Overall this place is good but next time we would prefer a place with a nicer / cleaner room. read more

Back for the third year. Im 41 and bring wife and 2 kids (8,6). Hotel has an older, retirement crowd (March 18,2013) but can't beat location and walking distance to Sloppy Joes/Bilmar Hotel (next door), Ricky T's (across the street) and multiple other outdoor seating beach restaurants. Directly across the street is a Publix (grocery store), a Walgreens, and plenty of tshirt shops and ice cream under 2 blocks away. This is a mom and pop Operation, but grounds, rooms, and pool are updated and very clean. Third deck has great view of both beach side and street side activity. Can't go wrong @ this property. read more

We recently stayed here at the recommendation of a friend. Our room was clean and the staff was wonderful. Especially our housekeeper. It's right off the beach with a nice pool too. Beautiful sunset views every night. We can't wait to go back. Fair warning, it's three stories and no elevator. While the price was great, and this hotel is right on the beach with free parking and wifi, I will be looking for other properties in the area for future visits. I was in a street-facing room, and traffic noise on Gulf Blvd is awful. Thankfully I had an ancient noisy a/c unit and a whining fridge to drown it out. If you are a woman with hot flashes - this is the place - the a/c unit is below the one tiny window and blows directly at the bed! I will say that the bathroom was nicely updated, and the room was clean and smelled nice. Cable and wifi were decent. The rest of the room could use the updates that the bathroom got. The carpet was clean, but a bit threadbare, the bed was old and hard, the a/c unit worked but was inconveniently placed and REALLY loud, and the "headboard" for the bed was a set of vertical mirrors glued to the wall. There was no good chair to really sit and relax in, and the "headboard" made it impossible to sit propped up on the bed. It was good for the price, but I will be looking for more updated and comfortable locations for future visits. It's worth $20-30 more per night. Update: Originally meant to give this hotel 3 stars. It was clean and adequate, if a bit in need of updates. The owner of the hotel has assured me that the room in which I stayed was updated in December. I cannot attest to that personally, however, as I have not been back since my stay in November. read more

Rooms small but clean. Staff friendly and helpful. But....People running up and down the halls well past "quiet time". Most importantly to me my watch was missing from my suitcase. They didn't offer maid service unless you stayed 4 or more days but someone definately came in the room and took my watch. I waited until I got home to make sure I hadn't left it here which is why I didn't report it to anyone. read more

The man working the front desk treated us as we were a nuisance. He said he had no rooms available then when I was calling the hotel a few doors down he all of a sudden had a room. I asked him if I could have it for 2 nights and he said no availability. The following morning upon checkout we called from a different phone and he said he had rooms so we go to office and then again 2 mins later he says no rooms available. I am 37 years old and this man has the nerve to ask if we were having guests and if so he couldn't rent to us. We are from Indiana and it was just us 3 there 1100 miles from home. We wanted a place on the beach for an overnight getaway. Many places on Treasure Island have a minimum stay of 3 nights, so I was happy we could get a room here on Monday night. I was at first disappointed because there isn't a patio or balcony for the rooms, but there is a super area outside of the pool area, by the beach promenade, that is quiet and on Monday night unused except by us. There's a great bar right beside the hotel called Sloppy Joe's. The room was an efficiency and had everything we needed. It looks like the bathrooms and kitchen area have been recently renovated. No issues at all, but do be aware that there is no elevator if someone in your party has problems navigating stairs (as does my Mom who was with us). Bring coffee--there's a pot and filters, but bring ground coffee. The WiFi worked fine--had to work early on Tuesday. No problems there. read more

We stayed overnight at Page Terrace recently and it was a great experience. It is an older, well-maintained motel with a lot of "old Florida" character. The check-in was quick and friendly. I used to come to Treasure Island with my family when I was younger. Now I decided to come down here with my husband. We came across this motel on the internet, and hoped the good reviews I read were true. They were. Since we reserved our room last minute, we did get one of the "bay side" efficiencies. (Queen bed, kitchenette, dining area and bathroom) I was worried that we might be missing the beautiful gulf view that a lot of the other rooms have. All we had to do was go outside. I like the kitchenette amenity. There is a grocery store across the street. We were able to get food to cook. There is even a bbq grill for guest use on the patio area by the pool. Yes, a lot of the crowd is a bit older, but I appreciated having a nice restful vacation. I did not have to worry about noise problems, or rowdy parties going on all hours. There is a fun bar next door or across the street if you want to hear music and drink. The rooms have recently been updated, and the housekeeping staff kept the room very clean all week while were here. I would definitely recommend this motel, and will be coming back someday. read more

This is the first time that my wife and I have stayed here but most likely not our last. We were told about the place by a coworker of mine. He, his wife and friends have stayed there several times in the past. The place isn't fancy and the price isn't high neither. We live a little more then an hour away so it is a great get a way for us. We met several people around the pool area and they had been to the hotel several times before. One couple were from Scotland and had stayed there before. So if several people have come back the owners must be doing something right. The people that own the business are on site not in a large city in a corporate office. If there is a problem they will take care of it because it is their livelihood. The only downfall is that the building is three stories and there is no elevator. But my wife had knee replacement three months ago and made it just fine up and down the stairs. Great location, family owned and right on the beach. Substantially less expensive than comparable motels in the area. I like a little bit of the "old Florida" charm when staying on the gulf coast. Its less hassle than a corporate big chain and those places have no sense of place. We could have stayed at a Hampton Inn type hotel but they are more expensive and indistinguishable from one property to the next. When on vacation, I like to get sense of place from where I stay. The point of staying on the gulf coast is to use the room as a place to sleep and shower. Why pay for a luxurious room when one should be out doing "Florida things"? I mean good fun things like swimming in the gulf, not the ridiculous crimes that have made FL the butt of many jokes. The point is, all you need to enjoy the area is a clean room, good AC and easy access to the beach. Why spend 300 a night for a room that one should spend as little time as possible in? Just don't be a dumb Yankee and get scalded by the sun on your first day, then you will be stuck in your room. During our stay, my wife had just a touch too much libation at her friends wedding and lost one of our room keys. We were forced to call the manager Arthur and at 0 dark thirty, he drove to the motel and let us into our room. I would have been quite mad were I in his shoes but he was gracious about the whole ordeal. That's customer service! He and his family own the motel and it shows in their attitude. Speaking of room keys, the keys here are real metal keys that turn inside a lock. Not the stupid plastic cards that fail seemingly one out of five times at big chain hotels. I'm all for technology but only when it works better than the old way. The number of times I've gone to my room late at night only to have the damn key card not work and schlep all the way back to the front desk, well...it seems like a lot. And the front desk interaction is so unsatisfying! Its always a "Oh here let me see your card, here you are, it should work now no problem." then I walk back wondering if it will work this time and why it's "no problem" that it didn't work the first time. Not with a metal key and a real deadbolt. read more

Went on a girls' weekend trip with some friends - the Page Terrace was a good choice. We stumbled upon it on the internet... good price, good location, good reviews. When we got there, the staff was very helpful (we're a little hopeless at navigation), and the rooms were nice. New bathrooms were a huge plus (one of my pet-peeves!). Overall it was a great experience. We're hoping to make this an annual event! (I would also recommend Beverly's - a cute breakfast place in St. Pete Beach. Don't remember exactly where we found it, but we loved it!) read more
