First-- taco Tuesday is awesome. You only have a choice of shredded chicken or ground beef, but they're a $1!! Can't complain. Also, I love their guacamole and chips. It's a nice Merry. I love Fuzzy's! Been to a lot of 'em and really enjoy just about everything on the menu! However, Decatur needs a bit of work. For starters my salad was warm-not a cool refreshing salad. Yes, I understand that when you put hot steaming chicken (and at least it's real chicken and not frozen patty Sharpie chicken) on a bunch of cool lettuce it warms up... but that's not what happened. There were entirely too many flies for a closed-in location (hint: after work- nobody likes fly strips but they sure come in handy!) Limes are supposed to be green, was a little afraid to out them in my drink... And lemons were wilted? I'm a huge Fuzzys fan, but this place needs a little more attention to detail. read more

A good place for Mexican in Decatur, but it's not my favorite...hence the not-five-star rating. Fuzzys is located in the quaint and charming part of Decatur, and it's a coll place to hang out inside. I was thrilled to see they were open during the snow storm that recently hit. The food? Quite good: I had beef fajitas and the cow was done just about right and the flavorings were spot on. Service? We liked the atmosphere upon arrival. Ordered food, the woman at the counter was very nice and helpful as this was our first time. Food was ready quickly and it started off great. Upon mixing my salad I uncovered a 4" black hair in my food. As it was our first date in 2 years, I didn't want to complain (gross, yes, but I was trying to have a good time). I removed the hair and continued to eat. Then I discovered the 2nd hair. At that point I was finished. We threw all the food away and left quickly. We will never come back. Its 2022, basic hygiene practices should be used by now. Wear a hair net when you are cooking food for people. read more

Service was extremely slow. It took roughly 30 min to get our food and by that point it was cold. Also had trouble getting our drinks. Thought that maybe they were short staffed but we saw at least three people working the front of the restaurant. Maybe just an off day but it was really off. read more

I have only eaten here once and my experience was average. Nothing great and nothing terrible. The entire town had a water issue so the tea tasted like dirt (not their fault). I ordered one of their big bowl salads. It started out tasting great and fresh but about halfway through my shredded chicken began to taste like tuna. Got appetizers same time as meal so that defeated the purpose and they were just ok. So close to a 4 or even 5. Started walking with my mom every day and we started going into Fuzzy's for breakfast tacos. Today was our 4th and most likely last stop. What they do well: fast, fresh, and reasonably comfortable. What's wrong: salsa...a Mexican taco shop that doesn't serve salsa...they do serve on the table fire sauce. We asked for salsa when we ordered...an extra $1 for two sides of salsa. Today, We ordered four breakfast tacos including a shrimp breakfast taco. They served me the dinner shrimp taco. When I explained I wanted the breakfast they did offer to remake it. They did so with the shrimp from the other taco so the one I got was rubbery. I think we are going to try some other places. read more

Solid taco and Mexican restaurant. The highlight was the super cold beer in the frosty mugs. For me cold beer and Mexican food are one and the same, and they have the beer game dialed to 10. The staff was helpful, and the service was really good. read more

We ordered a take out order for my work (about 6 orders) and they double charged one person and left out another persons order but still charged her. They seemed very annoyed that we came back for the missing food and appalled that we wanted money back on the double charge. The food was good but would probably be better if I didn't think they spit in it since they got caught in their mistake. read more

This is definitely the rudest cashier I've ever seen in any food establishment. Seems as if she just woke up from a nap and needed to go back to her nap. She might as well added to the end her " I can help the next person in line " ( I guess ). Didn't seem like she really wanted to be at work. But the real kicker was her cashiering with one hand and holding her hair up with the other hand, and running her finger through her hair. Have been to many Fuzzy's Taco Shops. Won't be back. I'm no Fuzzy's expert....scratch that I kinda am. As someone who worked her way through college at a corporate and franchise Fuzzy's I know how things should be made and taste. Unfortunately for Decatur Fuzzy's it's just not up to par. Every time we get food from there we are sadly disappointed, but then we attempt to give it another chance and sadly yet again we are reminded why we stopped eating there. I understand that when it's a pick up food sits there and might not be as hot as it first was, but I don't understand why corn tortillas were completely cold as if the cook didn't even bother to throw them on the grill. Tortillas need to be warm at the very least! I'm just disappointed to write this as I am a huge fan of Fuzzy's and have watched the once small hole in the wall place grow into a franchise company. I was tired of burgers and it was after 10 pm so all the other sit down places in Decatur were closed...This was my first time going to a Fuzzy's and I was not disappointed. I had the burrito and my friend had the enchilada/taco plate. We were both very happy with the value, the taste, and the fact that our beers came in oversized, frosted Margarita glasses. I just don't get the Fuzzy's hype. The tacos are okay. Something about how they season the meat really turns me off. Just doesn't taste good to my taste buds. The breakfast tacos are where it's at, but even then I'd rather go to the hole-in-the-wall place down the street. I do like the queso but not a fan of all the seasoning on the chips. Prices are okay, so it's a cheap fix if you're just wanting some quick tacos. It can get super busy though, so be prepared to wait during rush hours. read more

Service was pretty lousy, I never heard my order get called out and by the time I went to see where it was I realized it had gotten cold. Why would they just let food sit up there to ruin someone's meal? I was bummed and asked the manager if I could get it heated up or something but was ignored. Been here 2-3x. It's fair. Not really bad but not very good either. The chicken in the burrito was flavorless. It's a big place with lots of room but the food is just blah. I've only had the burritos so maybe the tacos are better. I have not tried other Fuzzy's in different locations to know if this one is better or worse than those. It's on the square so you have to deal parking & the proximity to Sweetie Pies Ribeyes which can get busy on the weekends taking up a lot of the parking on the square. read more

Came to eat here because we thought our daughter and her husband who are vegans could find something they could eat. First, as we ordered we were told they were out of queso. What kind of idiot opens a high traffic restaurant in the middle of town where there is no parking? After using the GPS to find the place since there was only one sighn to tell you how to get there, we didn't feel like walking half way across town to find a parking spot. This is an old actual Town square, the kind that even with normal traffic has parking issues. Consider the number of shopping centers and open spaces around town and I won't be trying to visit this place any time soon. read more

Low and behold when I picked it up thee were chips and salsa and I was charged for them. Also the menu did not say there were rice or beans in the burritos but both were full of them. Great margarita's! No chips and salsa while you wait on your meal. That costs extra, but the enchiladas were good. Very good green sauce and queso too. Habanero sauce is hot! Good frozen margaritas. read more

Good margarita.. Food was a disappointment and I love Fuzzys! Fish tacos had one very small and very overlooked piece of fish. Black beans had no flavor and rice was too salty. Enchilada tasted like canned sauce. Maybe try a salad. Nice staff. read more
