    We were interested in a particular make, model and color. Website said S.Hill Honda had the one we wanted. Bc it was an hour drive away- we called ahead to ensure it was there. We talked to Connor who told us that it was there. He even offered to 'check' and call me back---which he did. He said, "I confirmed- it is on the lot." We arrived an hour after he called. Connor checked us in, and then informed us that the vehicle was shipped to Johnstown. They had no other vehicles of that make/model for us to try. However, they offered to show us other vehicles. At that point, our trust = 0. The manager watched the whole thing and never approached to apologize. We left without looking at any vehicles. BTW- we drove to Wexford from there and bought a different vehicle. Sorry Connor. Don't lie!

    I am an 81 year old widow who is having a very concerning, ongoing, and intermittent issue with my 2020 Accord stalling at random times. My son helped me purchase the car from South Hills Honda in McMurray Pa. last year on June 29th. The car was nearly new and still had a warranty on it. I was told Honda, (particularly the Accord) are held in high regard due to their customer satisfaction and reliability, but I have had nothing but problems with mine and the dealer has been horrible to work with. Since the beginning, and as I've mentioned, the car will randomly stall. This might happen after I hit a pot hole in traffic, which is terrifying. I then must coast to a stop and try to restart the car. Typically this will take 2-3 tries before I can pull out again, and (as you can imagine) aggravates the other drives and is very scary. Other instances are when I take it through the car wash, and by the end, the car almost always stalls, regardless of the car wash. This requires the car wash to shut down the conveyor belt, stopping everyone else behind me in line in the car wash as they run out to help me restart my car and get it out of the way. As you can imagine, this is not only extremely embarrassing, but frightening. I am very concerned that I will eventually be the cause of a major accident, or get stranded without any help. To add insult to injury, my son who lives overseas and lives in a different time zone has been struggling to help me get the car in for service. Back on April 24th. 2024, he convinced me to take it back to the dealer before something worse happened. When I took it in, they did not listen to me or address the problem. In fact, they did not even hook the car up to a diagnostic machine, much less take it for a test drive. Instead, the technician came out, sat in it and pushed a couple of buttons to clear the lane changing warning feature. I returned to the garage recently again this month on June 3rd. Along with the routine maintenance items, I asked them to rotate the wheels and check the air pressure, due to the warning light and (more importantly), the ongoing stalling concern. When I left, the low pressure warning light came back on and I was told that maybe I should "move the Turn-Pike EZ-Pass Transponder from the windshield to the dashboard", as this may be what is causing the problem?? - After telling my son again that the car was still not fixed after being there for 2 hours and of my experience, he decided to call the Service Manager (Zachary Sakura) and politely asked for a better explanation of the seemingly consistent inability of the service group to isolate and identify the problem. Zachary assured us that they would look at it again for the 3rd time. I do not have anyone to follow me out to the dealership or ride me home, so they reluctantly agreed to do this for me as well, although I only live 9.5 miles away, but this is apparently out of their typical area. I was very appreciative of this, but wouldn't have had to go through all of this, had they satisfactorily addressed the problem in the beginning. My son in the meantime discovered that there is a recall on the fuel pump and that some of the issues relating to that sounded similar to my problem. Not knowing if this is even actually the problem, no one at the Service Dept. ever mentioned this as being a possibility. - That all being said, the dealership has had my car for now going into 3 days. Both my son and I have called them separately, but no one ever answers the phone. We have left them multiple messages asking for an update, but no one ever responds or replies. If they are going to have it longer, I wanted to see if they had a loaner, or if I should get a rental, but they've just left me hanging and hoping that I'll get a call back. Is this the type of service standard Honda would permit to happen to their end customer? The dealership should be embarrassed to treat your customers in this manner. My intent was not trying to stir trouble, but I think I deserve better treatment and at least someone to return my calls and address my concerns, if they plan on keeping it for an extended length of time? Wouldn't you agree? It's already very difficult happen to and intimidating being elderly, and this just seems like another clear case of a big dealership taking advantage of an elderly woman. Personally, the more I think about it, I believe the car had such low miles because the previous owner had the same problems and felt it best to trade it in. After several phone calls to their dealership both by me and my son who lives overseas, we could NEVER reach anyone. We left no less than 10 messages between the service manager (Zachary Sukora) and other extensions, none of which were ever returned. It was to the point where my son wanted to call the police and report the car missing! - "Excellent Customer Service?" yet I was never offered a shuttle or loaner and they failed to ever return any of our calls or follow-up w/ me

    I worked with South Hills Honda back in October when my old car finally reached the point of no return (i.e. too rusty and old to repair). So after some research and debate I came to South Hills Honda with a family member to test drive a Honda Civic. While we hadn't planned on making a purchase that exact day, one smooth test drive and great overall experience later we left South Hills Honda with an order in the works. The team here is quite excellent in my opinion - they'll chat with you during the entire process, give you walkthroughs of their new cars and the features of each one, and basically ensure that you feel as if you're the center of attention 99% of the time, which is what a good sales team should do. I had no problems during test driving, and when it came time to make a purchase we felt that the team was honest about what extra features and protections are worth investing in and which ones aren't. What really impressed me, though, was the day that I brought my car back in to get repainted with a stronger paint that it came with (the stronger paint would ensure that it survives Pittsburgh's weather longer). I'd been prepared to work in a coffee shop down the street on my laptop most of the day. Nope - their in-house shuttle service took me home, then picked me up again to come back out and get my car when it was done. At no mandatory extra charge. Now THAT'S what I call impressive. This feature combined with my current ability to work from home will definitely ensure that my car gets the attention and service it needs! It's been two months now and I am happily driving my first truly brand-new car thanks to these guys - and thanks to the excellent follow-up of the sales team, I've received a number of letters and coupons ensuring that my car will be given the attention it deserves for a lesser than usual price. I'm definitely excited to see where my new wheels take me, and pleased that this was the place I chose to get them at.

    I did some damage to my car in a parking lot with relatively high curb. Not wanting to turn it into…read moremy insurance and end up paying more in the long run I reached out to Tatano Brothers Autobody. I was told to stop down around 8:30am to meet with the appraiser Mike. I arrived at 8:30 and Mike promptly looked at the rocker panel and the wheel on my VW Passat. We went inside, Mike called the VW dealership, obtained the parts pricing and gave me a written estimate of my repair cost to have a new rocker panel painted, installed and have my wheel fixed. I was so pleased with the pricing I told him to get the part ordered. The part arrived several days later, they painted it and let it cure over the weekend. Mike scheduled me in for Wednesday 7/26. I dropped my car off and left it with George the owner. I had a call by 2PM that the car was ready for pick up. I arrived and was simply blown away by the quality of work performs mainly on the wheel, which I tore up pretty badly. It looked better then when I bought the car. The rocker panel was replaced and it is seamless. The paint match is excellent. From start to finish the entire process was simple. Tatano Brother's Auto Body is simply the type of business in which I like to deal. They're no BS, to the point and they do it right the first time. Oh, and the pricing...it is exceptionally fair. If I ever need body work done on a car(hopefully not) - They will be my first call.
