Pls don't come here if black, trans and a woman, or all above i came in here with a pin that says "protect trans kids" and they were following me the entire store and when i tried leaving because i felt uncomfortable and then they stopped me a white male with trump pins all over saying "we know what you did" and i say "excuse you?" and he said "you stole something SIR" and "Im innocent thought i didn't steal anything!" he said "well I'm calling security" and i was just in disbelief and scared so i walked out before the man yelling saying "n**ger" i was so hurt just because of my skin tone i was stopped and assumed i didn't have no money and i would steal especially because the stereotype. BLAST FROM THE PAST. Man I have not seen one of these in forever! Obviously it's not so much a DVD store as it was in the past (though this location still does sell some and some Blu-Rays too). It's more of a movie/TV show/ pop media merchandise store. They have snacks, shirts, hoodies, plushies, posters, and much, much more! I think the most interesting part of this store was all the anime/manga/cute character themed snacks and items that they had here! Lots that I have never seen before. Like Yu-Gi-Oh Winged Dragon of Ra-men, Hatsune Miku x Pusheen collaboration snacks, huge Attack on Titan chocolate, etc. The Japanese snacks that they have here are pretty unique too! Some which I haven't even seen at Japanese supermarkets. There are some things that are on clearance and super sale. Like the buy one get TWO free shirts rack and I bought a $1 whistling Japanese candy that was covered in crabs and shrimps (and the toy ended up being an orange brontosaurus ...lol). Other than that everything is pretty dang pricey, probably because of the import prices/the novelty of it all. For example $16 for a pack of noodles?! Fun to look around for sure at the very least. read more

The store is fun and pretty cool however they ruined it for me when the cashier asked me to sign up for the vip program and never told me of a monthly fee. They went ahead and charged the credit card that I used for Xmas gift purchases. I wasn't aware and never gave permission to have any future charges. Beware of signing up for anything from them. They will charge you monthly and don't tell you that they will. I will never again even go in their store let alone buy anything. read more

I went to purchase a gift for my husbands cousin here last year in August 2019. The shirt was extremely overpriced. I don't remember signing up for the "rewards" thing they offer. And yet my husband just found out they have been charging him $11.99 monthly since January 2020. He canceled his credit card. I don't recommend at all but if you must just pay with cash and don't give them any of your information. read more

If there was an option to give negative stars I would. Sales associate asked me to sing up for a rewards program and I would get a a Discount and I asked if it costs money he told me no. I realized 2 months later it was being charged. And to cancel was a joke. I got the run a round and finally after a few attempts to what sounded like a call center in India finally finalized my "rewards" account cancellation . I'm pretty sure it's not. This is why people resort to purchasing online and letting stores like this go bankrupt . No B/S,no lies, no gimmicks. read more

I've been selling CDs and DVDs at this store for several years now. I've never had a problem selling to the store no matter what time I come in. I was in the store in November and again today (Dec 11). The same woman was working both times and she told me that she wasn't able to buy anything because she didn't have any money. I've NEVER had one of FYE's employees tell me that before...until this woman. I don't know what's going on but something doesn't seem right. read more

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT let them talk you into the FYE backstage VIP membership. The guy told me that if I sign up I would get 50% off the clearance headphones i was purchasing. He said it is easy to cancel and that many people do it as soon as they leave the store. I have found cancelling to be next to impossible, Plus they signed me up for all these free magazine trials and I am unable to cancel those as well. The dude straight up lied to me. read more

Do NOT buy from this store if you're a bts album collector! I purchased the BTS WOLRD OST. fron this store and it was USED. Okay dont get me wrong, I wouldn't mind it being used if it came with EVERYTHING and wasnt DAMAGED. My Concept books spine was BENT, it was missing a poster, some photo cards and a badge. As a collector of these albums I did not appreciate that the spine to my concept book was completely bent. Never buying from here again. read more

Awesome store found a movie i was looking for that's hard to find now. They have old CD/DVDs selection that maybe hard to find elsewhere and they aren't even expensive. The staff are helpful. read more

Don't do it and they offer you like 4-5 magazines "Free".The cashier says,"As soon as you get a chance cancel but you still get a discount today! I decided to pay CASH instead once they get your credit card number its hard to cancel and the fee is $11.99 a month, no thanks it's a scam! They are overpriced too! read more

The worker here's are always nice especially the manager. My son comes here to get CDs all time me and they are always helpful.

The selection is great and they have great deals but the customer service today was horrible. There was a big line to check out with only one cashier open. There was another employee behind the counter putting price stickers on items. Instead of helping by checking people out, she just told us all, " Oh he will be with you soon." read more

This place is awful. I always give a place three chances before deciding I hate them forever. The first two times I shopped here, I abandoned my purchases and left after literally 15 minutes of the line not moving. Two separate occassions. The third time, the place was empty; bingo, right? Well, yes, my wait time was dramatically decreased, but, since I had so much extra time, I figured I'd sign up for their Backstage Pass program that they offered me. They explained that it works like any other rewards points card. What they didn't explain to me was that I was actually PURCHASING a membership, just not at the point of sale. A month later, I see that my credit card has been charged 11.99, and it took some digging to figure out why. I didn't even confirm my email account with them, but they still took the money. The clerks at the store could have spared me all this had they just told me that there would be a fee at some point. DON'T GET THE VIP MEMBERSHIP. read more
