As with the other CD Exchanges, you're almost guaranteed to find whatever it is you're looking for and so much more. As a fan of martial arts movies, I really enjoy this location as their selection has consistently been better and varied than some of the other locations'. The trade off is that their game selection isn't as impressive. That's not to say that it isn't good, there is in fact a lot to look through, I've just found more hidden gems at other locations. Though I typically skip over the front part if the store during my visits, it is worth mentioning that there is a TON of music to go through and an impressive amount of memorabilia such as action figures and Funko Pop!s, posters, bags and shirts, and a lot more. Everything is fairly priced and there have been instances where I've paid less than what I would have elsewhere or online. If you're a movie buff looking for a quiet place to pass the time, you absolutely have to visit the Movie Exchange.

But after walking in, I wound up staying an extra 10 minutes marveling at the beauty of the store and it's impressive record selection. There are plenty of vinyl selection available for purchase; plus you can order whatever they don't carry and pick it up at the store (hence the Foo Fighters album). Plus there's cds and cassette tapes adorning the shelves that brings some 80's-90's nostalgia. And they are available for purchase. The store is family-run with owners who are nice and welcoming. We made some small talk and I mentioned I was in San Antonio on business. They appreciated me coming in and picking up a record from them. We mentioned I'll be back the next time I'm in San Antonio to check out their inventory and perhaps come away with some more music material. I definitely intend to make that happen soon!

It is located in a strip mall off Fredericksburg, and it won't be found unless ones looking for it, which I was. It is not a very big place, but it does have a lot of knickknacks, including an impressive collection of stickers, bookmarks, and vinyl records, to name a few. It actually is a pretty neat place. The books are used and for the most part they're very reasonably priced. They do not have an inventory of the books, so you do have to look through shelves, if looking for a particular title. And their staff is only one person at the cashier. Which is to say that you can browse to your heart's content, and discover some major reads. They also had quite a few boxes of books that were under one dollar or $.50. This is one of those places that I intend to return to, because of pricing and to support small businesses. I truly recommend visiting this place. It makes for a fun visit.

Walking into the CD Exchange almost feels like walking back into the nearer past where dvd stores reigned supreme and I absolutely love the nostalgia. Also with the cards it would be nice to see like Star Wars or marvel cards. Hopefully this doesn't sound harsh but I've seen this store before they moved to this location.
