FYI. You will wait a very long time. I waited for over 2 hours to get finger printed.

Omg I have always had a great experience getting my stuff done here. But do NOT go here during the pandemic!!! I repeat, do not go here during the pandemic. 1.) The worker took his mask off to drink his soda 2.) People were packed into the small room. No way there was the 6 feet social distancing happening. 3.) Owner came into the office without a mask talking loudly. 4.) The person who does your fingerprinting (he has to touch everyone's hands in order to compete fingerprinting) did not once take his gloves off. He used the same glove for every person. 5.) They did not sanitize any surface before and after each customer. 6.) One customer was without a mask for a few minutes and the worker said nothing. 7.) There was no accessable hand sanitizer for employees or customers. And the real kicker!!! They had NO SOAP in the restroom. Wtf!!!! During a pandemic no soap for employee or customers?!!!! They have no regard for your safety. Go somewhere else if you are concerned about the virus as I am. read more

The man taking prints was so kind and patient. They take walk-ins, and have evening and weekend hours. I was in and out in no time. They cost a fraction of what other local fingerprinting places charge ($20 for 2 cards) . I'm so glad I went here before paying $55 at the MVA or $95 at Maryland Livescan. read more

Always had great service here until recently. Lady working literally embarrassed me in front of 10 other customers with a smart a$$ comment that "I told you"... well you told me one thing but didn't answer my specific question so we had to play the let me phrase it differently yet again game, so I could get my specific answer. So rude as if she was being bothered. I get you were busy, but if that's your front person with that attitude she needs to go!!! ZERO customer service skills. its ok I took my business elsewhere and will continue to do so. Maybe if enough people get fed up you'll feel the impact. read more

I needed fingerprinting done on cards. 1 copies were $20. The wait was quite long for a monday morning, I perhaps waited for ~30-40 minutes. But the person working was very helpful and the prices were good. I would come here again! read more

The building is just a bit further up the hill than the courthouse. There's parking up there, so don't do as I did and park down below and what up. You'll see that multiple businesses share the same building (looks like a house), but FYI has no suite number, no worries, it's inside the front door and to the right, the door is clearly marked. It's pretty straightforward inside. Just sign in and grab a chair. There's a TV to keep you occupied while you wait. Charles was very helpful, and answered questions for me to ensure I got all my paperwork straight. Everything was finished up and I was out of there in about 20 minutes (which included waiting for a buddy to do the same paperwork as I did). My only complaint is that they use some sort of answering service. There was an issue with my fingerprinting paperwork (Charles called to explain it to me, and left a message). But getting back in touch with him was more difficult than it should have been, and the answering service was clueless (I asked 'when can I expect a call back?'...they had no idea at all). In the end Charles called me back the next day and was very helpful. read more

Should get 0 stars. Went here and the guy gets super close to you and holds your hands to do the fingerprints (I guess that's what they have to do) but he didn't wear gloves OR A MASK! I'm reporting to the health department and I hope you get fined. Disgusting. Felt like I needed a bleach bath afterwards. read more

Amazing service!! And economical, (only $20), high tech, and helped me out by printing out a form. I had my fingerprints taken elsewhere on a card with ink -- they had assured me it was okay, but when I sent it off to my residency they said the card wasnt valid, and they had to mail me a form. So I had to delay my residency background check by 2 weeks. I was rushing to get fingerprinted, and forgot to bring a form. FYI fingerprinting printed out my form, was able to print on the correct card, *and* took my fingerprints through digital so it was Sure to be good. And it was only $20. I cannot recommend enough. read more

I came here on a recommendation to get finger printed. This is a hidden gem. They are in a little white house on the corner, across from the court house building. The workers in their are fast and efficient. They get you in and out fast. It's not a all day thing here. They even have a television to pass the time. I would recommend this location to anyone that ask. The prices are decent and they don't charge you lot of money. I think the guy in there said, they charge the standard prices. So if you need to get printed for anything come here. read more

I was referred to: FYI Finger Print Services by Howard County Police Department whom no longer provides fingerprint services. Please note this business has only one individual employed there. Leave your short temper at the door, sign in, and be seated. FYI Finger Print Services does accept cash and credit cards for payment. Once your name is called you will be instructed on the finger printing procedure, which is really quick. Overall. I was very happy with FYI Finger Print Services. read more

FYI Fingerprinting was suppose to be open Saturday, March 11, 2016 @ 9 am according to the website and their answering service. 10 customers were waiting at 9 am. Finally got inside a sign said they would not open to 10 am waited until 10:30 am . They never opened. Answering service did not know where they were not could advise if the could get in touch with owner. About 15 people that were waiting but eventually left. Does not appear to be a reliable company to depend on. Would have left 0 stars but the rating system will not let you. read more

Busy on Saturday's and limited seating (folding chairs). As it got later say 10:30 more people were coming in and some were sitting on the stairs (Inside) and others had to stand in the entrance way. IT's basically a house with an office are used for this service. Can hold about 10-12 people in the office area. Best I can say is get there early and be sure to sign in on the list at the desk. The guy doing the prints seemed to move people along quickly providing the required services for his customers. Just be patient. There is a TV to watch while you wait if your seated in the office area. Also limited parking on the side of the house but available parking further away if you care to walk. read more
