This guy is a joke. Got a 100+ speeding ticket and Randy was quick to respond for my money but never again after that. The receptionist tells you that they'll respond a week after your court date (which is ridiculous as is) but its been 2 weeks now and I have yet to hear back. Randy is very unprofessional. Spoke with him a few times when I got my ticket 2 months ago. He gave me his instructions, and when i submitted my important information such as my DL and the ticket and was ready to make the payment he stopped responding and returning my calls. He kept telling me he'll call me back. That was 2 weeks ago and he still hasn't called me. I STRONGLY recommend going to another firm or person because this guy is very unprofessional, and also sketchy for getting my important info but never pulling through. After I posted it, he quickly gave me a call and told me if he lowered his rate by $25, could I take this review down? I thought to myself that I finally got his attention and went with it. Paid him the money and he told me he'll file an extension and keep me posted. After a few months, I noticed that my appearance date was approaching and still no update from this guy. I left messages and emails and he finally called me 2 days after the appearance date. He told me he was out of town and not to worry about anything. A week passes still no word from him. He eventually called me 3 weeks after my date and said they couldn't dismiss my ticket and I've to pay the fine even if I submitted overwhelming evidence and photos showing I was right. I should've just gone myself and not used this guy. So pretty much all he will do for you is file extensions and hope the cop wouldn't show and not even represent you. What can I say? I don't like to put my personal legal problems on blast, but I owe Randy a review. Let me just start by saying, from the moment I contacted this office, it was the smoothest experience I've ever had with a lawyer (and sadly, I've had a few). I needed someone to deal with a very old outstanding ticket, due to a lazy cop not "having time" to wait for me to pull up my digital insurance information. Funny... he had time to pull me over, and do the paperwork... Anyways, I digress. I live on the west side, I'm a working professional, and don't have the time or patience to deal with going to van nuys to deal with this crap. I contacted "FYourTicket" and gave them my information. Shortly after I got a personal call from the man himself Randy. We exchanged pleasantries and a few jokes about the weather (it was raining), and got down to business. I explained my situation to him, and he let me know what it would take to get it done. Now, as you may know, dealing with the courts is never a sure thing. You're at the whim of the judge and prosecutor. Randy let me know my options and what he felt the best outcomes could be. For me, thankfully, he was spot on. It took a little bit of time, and through the process he was available via email and texting him directly. Always on point with responding, and being exactly what you want when you need representation in court. There was nothing ambiguous about what was going on or what my expectations should be. Thank you Randy. I also should note that this office went above and beyond for me. After the dust settled, there was a couple of fees that I needed to be responsible for. I was a bit lazy on the uptake and didn't realize, but they actually handled the fees for me. After a couple of weeks of not paying them back for this (because they did it to cover me, and wasn't part of my retainer) Randy let me know. He was absolutely polite about it, considering I owed him money. Like, not even a problem. It caught me off guard that I owed, but considering what he had done for me, I was happy. Happy he had the foresight to pay it on the spot, but also that he was willing to be polite about it. We all hate paying bills, but when I paid him back, I had a smile on my face. This guy saved my ass, and saved it again by paying my fine, and then when he reminded me I owed money, he was freaking nice about it. How could I not smile. Randy, you're a credit to your profession. Everyone makes jokes about lawyers, and the only time you guys get love, is when people are at a low point. Even then I'm sure it can be begrudging... like if you have a tooth pain, and the dentists has to pull it to make things better. You're better than a dentist. Actually you're very excellent. I almost want to get in a bit of trouble just to have some bants and work with you and your people again. Your rates were reasonable, and I honestly believe that you went above and beyond for what I paid for your service. Hopefully I will never need to call you again, let alone have to have my friends be in the same position. But, life being what it is, one can never know. Randy USE to be great - I've worked with him for over 5+ citations for myself and my family. However, things have gone downhill. 1) He doesn't really reply. From day one it was always a pain to get ahold of him by text, phone, or email. I get it. He's in the court house, but when I refer people to him and he doesn't event reply, it looks terrible. When I can't get an update on my case, it gets frustrating. If you can't handle volume, take on less cases or hire an associate? 2) Highly disorganized. Doesn't seem like you're dealing with a professional law firm here 3) He would quote different prices on different occasions. Contacted him my for last citation. On one occasion he would tell me bail + XX on the phone, then tell me another price the next time we communicated. Being that I am abroad and time was running out, I sent him a few emails to confirm exactly how much I should send him... no reply. Ended up taking the L and paying for the citation. 4)There was a citation back in 2017.. confirmation email from Randy that it is dismissed, go to switch insurance companies today and they tell me that there is a point on file. Whats the deal? All in all..he USE to be great...or when he does decide to pick up the phone. Come on Randy, I've spent more than enough money with you for some weak customer service.
