Last year we were almost regulars at g&g kitchen. we went there a month ago and it was substandard, but we thought it may just have been a bad day. We went again today to give them a second chance. They failed. The fish and chips were awful. Could squeeze the oil out of the fish. The fries were under fried and were soggy. The club sandwich would have been ok but the turkey was really cold. Had the green salad with it and asked for an extra dressing which never came. Very disappointing. Their prices have gone up and the quality went down. read more

We came here for a family dinner after a day of boating. Fries, wings & mozza sticks were tasty and hot. The real star was the yummy pizza. We ordered the deluxe pizza - delicious! Patio is pretty with the hanging flowers and the bathrooms are clean. read more

Quaint little small town restaurant in Sicamous where we decided to pop into to grab a small lunch passing through on the way back to Calgary. Prices were reasonable and selection is diner type food. We didn't feel like going to Tim Hortons. I decided to go with a Denver sandwich and vegetable soup for $8.95. Both were hearty and filled me up to a level of satisfaction. Restaurant options in Sicamous didn't seem that there was a huge offering and G&G was right off the Trans Canada. Definitely i would return again! read more

My best friend and I go there all the time just to get french fries (which are super good). I haven't really tried anything else besides the grilled cheese, Caesar salad. Both were ok. If I could leave 0 stars I would. The food was brutal the burger was thinner then the onion slices. Tiny portions. They were great to locals. People came in at 1:55 pm asking for breakfast and they bent over backwards to make them happy despite saying the grill had been cleaned off from breakfast already. People came in 20 minutes after us and got their food before us. We ordered nothing that should take more then 10 minutes to prep and we waited 30-40 minutes with little kids. Salad was awful only thing good was the fries. We come to Sicamous every August and will absolutely cross this place off our visit list. (Joe Schmucks will keep our business) read more

Waited over an hour and a half for what turned out to be a rather disappointing breakfast. Weren't even there during a rush time, half the restaurant was empty. Had stopped here last year for breakfast after houseboating and remembered it being really good. Something has changed since. Waited over an hour and a half for our breakfast and when it came it was small portions and just honestly incredibly mediocre. Also, some people in our group got their food half an hour before others and we're done eating before the rest even got their food. Just all around terrible service and the food was no where near worth the wait! Will not visit again next time we come through sicamous. read more

My mother and I stopped in for supper at 7pm on a Saturday night. As we were passing through, we left our dog in the car(it was running, window cracked, food and water out), anyways, the place was full except for one table. We sat down, ordered food and drinks within 10 minutes. People around us started getting their food soon after. We had waited for 50 minutes when the server told another table, who had ordered after us, that their food would be right out. At this time I questioned where ours was and was told "it would be right out". I politely reminded her we had been waiting 50 minutes, when she told me "yeah and we are busy. That's why I told you it would take 30 minutes". Obviously we were NEVER told this or we would have gone elsewhere so the dog wasn't stuck in the car. I left to walk the dog, my mom stayed inside and waited another ten minutes before our food was ready. We had it packed up to eat at our hotel. The server offered ONE DOLLAR off each meal! They didn't care we waited an hour for two Medium done steal sandwiches. I'll never go back and never recommend this place. Ps. The steaks were waaaaay over done. read more

Every year me and my boyfriend and friends come to sicamous for a vacation. Every year we come to grandma's and grandpas. I love this place. It's affordable, great service and awesome food. They are always so nice to us and conversations are lovely. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's the perfect slice of small town happiness. :) read more

Went there today expecting pizza as it is all over their signs that they are a pizza and pasta joint. Was a little angry when I found out it was still breakfast and lunch and there is no sign of a pizza or pasta on their lunch menu. Took almost an hour to get our two sandwiches. Prices were good, service was terrible. Had three different waitresses while we were there, not one of them asked us if we would like a refill or another drink. Safe to say there are far better places to spend my money in Sicamous. read more

Ok so I read the reviews and was skeptical about eating here. But with very few options as we are staying at Crazy Creek and there is nothing there to eat we decided to stop here. I'm so glad we did. They were so kind and friendly. Food was very tasty and quick. They went above and beyond to keep my kids entertained with coloring books and construction paper. They kept checking with us if everything was good. Will definitely stop here again. read more
