Great little cafe in Revelstoke, BC. I drink a lot of coffee, and Terravita has some of the best I've ever tasted - the house drip was perfectly brewed, and rich in flavor. Made sure to buy a big bag to go before hitting the road. The pesto poachie had some great flavor for breakfast, and they have gluten free bread (although the sourdough sounded delicious). My son and I dined here in a Thursday afternoon in the middle of winter break. The cafe was full enough while still having plenty of room for the two of us. Our late lunch did not disappoint. He ordered the barnyard burger and it was absolutely perfect - organic grass fed juicy patty with a house made brioche bun....so good! My baked pinto beans with cheddar are a favorite of mine and theirs did not disappoint. Served with a light but flavorful salad and house made sourdough - it was a perfect sized meal! Hummus and olive oil just go together so well, but throw on some house made sourdough and you have the perfect simple breakfast. My partner opted for their French toast and it was just as good. What a wonderful place! I had difficulty making a choice on their breakfast menu but ultimately chose the breakfast skillet. It was amazing! The sauce has a bit of a kick of spice and some sweetness! I was literally scraping the skillet to get every bit of this delicious breakfast with of course their sourdough toast! I would love to come back and try other things on the menu, if I'm not called by my craving for the breakfast skillet! The restaurant was beautifully taken care of and a welcoming atmosphere with the kind friendliness of those that work there making it a perfect visit! I hope to visit again! There was so many things I wanted to order. Great variety, very cute and cozy. You order at the front & then they bring your food and bevy's to the table. The service was good. We came to Terra Firma after our first few choices weren't available, and I have never been more grateful for this fated occurrence. The entire operation is cozy and tidy and is sourced locally, which is immediately appealing when you're in a small town. The most challenging aspect of eating here is realizing that everything you order will be so tasty and fresh that choosing what to try is quite difficult. Over the course of our stay, we came back for breakfast foods and lunch foods and were never disappointed. The baked goods are made daily and are worth their weight in gold. The breakfast Sammies are next level. Every meal has been supremely satisfying. I could go on, but you don't have time for that and should just stop in and try for yourself. The coffee was delicious. We sampled a few coffee shops in town but continued to return here for lattes. My girlfriend swears she will dream of their iced maple latte henceforth now and forever. Final note - if you run out of fridge items you can nab eggs and produce here on your way back home. They stock some grocery tidbits from the farm for local purchase. read more
