Joe took 3 weeks to return my call, and 2 months to come out and look at the problem. When he came out he said he didn't know what to do, but he'd call a guy. He came out with the guy, but they've never been back. He got sick. He got hurt. He was in rehab. Now, Joe does not seem to have a physical address where he can be reached, as my lawyer has tried. His website lists Elkins Park, but that is for a condo, where he has no connection for many years. There are many more reliable tree cutters than Joe Hughes Executive Branch- try someone else.

When the crew left, my driveway had sustained damage that was not there before they arrived. There is a burned section where the asphalt has been damaged down to the underlying stone, along with three large fluid stains that appear to be oil or another automotive fluid. I have security camera footage showing the condition of my driveway before the crew arrived and after they left. I immediately attempted to contact the company to report the damage and request that someone contact me regarding repairs. When I was unable to reach anyone, I documented the damage with the New Jersey State Police, who advised that the matter appears to be civil in nature and generated a property damage report. What concerns me most isn't just the damage itself--equipment can fail and accidents happen. It's how the situation has been handled. Property damage should be acknowledged promptly, and customers and neighboring property owners deserve communication and accountability. If you are considering using this company, I strongly recommend discussing in advance how they will protect driveways and other surfaces from heavy equipment and what their process is if damage occurs. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.

It intertwined with another white pine in my neighbor's yard. They separated the two with very minor limb breakage to my neighbor's tree. The second tree was smaller by still pretty substantial. It was already dying, so probably a little lighter than a healthy tree. They lifted that tree off in one piece. They had both trees cut down and chopped up, with final cleanup in about two hours.
