10:40pm March 19th, I walk in and greet the cashiers as usual, and surprisingly, they greet me back (most gas station employees don't). Today I was buying some beer and when they check my ID, they say "Hey remember his name for next time he comes back." I was literally astonished, not only was it a great sales tactic, but it also gave me that welcoming feeling that your hometown gas stations give you. If you've never been a gas station regular, you wouldn't understand, but for me, certain gas stations have memories forever and this spot gave me that for the first time since HS! The older white lady with brown hair who works here is always so creepy and flirty with my boyfriend (who is only 23 might I add). We come literally every day to buy cigarettes because we live a minute away. Today I went in by myself to buy cigarettes and she id'd me and I said "I thought you would recognize me"... lol. She looks at me all funny and goes "no I don't.". Of course she doesn't when I'm not with my boyfriend. She should be embarrassed for herself. One time she was complaining to my boyfriend while I was there saying she didn't have enough time to smoke a cigarette because it was so busy. He suggested she tried a zyn, to which she replied "no I'm a nurse, I don't want mouth and throat cancer". What logic is that? Anyways, super put off by her and her vibe the end. read more

Quick, easy and convenient location to the 5 freeway. Regularly some of the lowest prices in town for gas. Comes in especially handy now that gas prices are soaring. Hopefully won't last too long tho, but we'll see. Couple of times had trouble getting into the lot. Can get kinda cramped with little space to maneuver into parking spots. Also, the attendant closes for their break without warning, so you can be stuck waiting to grab snacks or use the restroom sometimes while they're out back smoking. Keep on Yelp'n! read more

We were coming back from Tijuana, and were in need of coffee. We took the next exit off the 5 north, and ended up here. Thankfully the convenience store was open, as it was 3AM and most other convenience stores were closed. As we walked in, the worker there greeted us warmly. I went straight for the coffee, their Columbian brew. I picked up some peanut butter crackers to hold me over for the ride home. Luckily, the restrooms were open, and very clean. The worker here had a good attitude, which definitely added some much needed energy. The store was clean and well stocked. Best of all, the coffee was strong enough to carry us the rest of the way home. read more

I'm usually pretty good at driving my truck... Never had an accident that was my fault driving trucks my whole life. Still, I found myself dangerously close to being unable to navigate the strange lot here with seemingly no right angles. Maybe the parking stalls are too close to the pumps? Or maybe it's the driveways that really require you to crank the wheel, coming in from curvy streets in the first place. Whatever it is, it seems people want to save three cents a gallon on gas by filling up here. I've never been here before, and just needed a little gas to get home leaving Oceanside. The store was OK, nothing special. Reading all the reviews, I always giggle a little bit about those poor souls providing commentary on the lack of social graces of a gas station attendant. It seems some of my fellow Yelpers expect scintillating political banter and Cotillion-inspired manners while purchasing a can of Skoal and "$15 on 8." Me? I stopped at this station to fill up on gas on the way to my parents' house. I was going east on Oceanside Blvd and this station is near the freeway entrance/exit. The gas station gets super busy given its location. I came on a weekend and it was busy from people coming from the beach. I went inside to pay and luckily there was no line, and my service was quick. I was in the middle pump and I finished at the same time the couple in front of me finished. Unfortunately, given the way the set up of the pumps were you cannot go around the car in front of you and you would need to wait for the customer in front of you to leave. There was a car in back of me so I was stuck. Good thing there's a turn signal to get into this station or else it would be a major cluster! read more

2 AM crew the worst customers service providers possible. They treated us almost as thefts would not allow us to use the restrooms and refused service. Would have left but my car was empty so was forced to fuel up, this was always a go to stop when traveling but I guess I'm going to have to find somewhere new now. read more

I stopped for gas this afternoon on the way to see my daughter and there were three employees working one guy who is black and doing inventory a shorter Mexican girl and another Hispanic gentleman who was a little more stout in stature. Either way I only had $100 bill on me and although it might've been true that they had no change the stout gentleman who had his Bluetooth in one ear probably listening to music, In a very condescending tone said "I can't break this right now... do you have anything smaller? " I replied " unfortunately I don't"He responded in the same condescending tone "well I guess I can't help you then" and just stared at me. My feelings being in customer service myself is the fact that we don't always have good days but you don't have to be a jerk about it. I will literally avoid that gas station whenever possible. read more

Cheap gas. Slow cashiers and only 1 working at a time. I've seen lines of more than 10 customers. The problem is you need to bring cash inside. This is one of the cheaper gas stations in Oceanside. It is also one of the most convenient for getting on and off the 5 Fwy. The mini mart is great, people are friendly. The only negative is DON'T GO AT 5AM, that's when they shut everything down to count money or beans or something. read more

This gas station needs to be remodeled more than anything. Not the Food Mart, but the gas pumps and layout. I only come here for the Propel E85 Pump which is wedged in between their old pumps in their small lot. So since it's wedged in between.. you're usually in a very awkward line to get into the pump because people are using the regular gas pump next to it. While you're awkwardly angled to get your car in as soon as that car is done, you're also dealing with other stubborn people trying to get through the aisle while the Gas Station employee tells you through the intercom that you're blocking the way. It's very unorganized and infuriating. My most recent experiences here consisted of the Gas Station employee telling me that I was blocking the pumps. It's stupid because every time I'm here to fill up my car.. there's always a fat truck that blocks 2 pumps while not filling up and they never get told to leave. The entrance into this Gas Station from Oceanside Blvd is also terrible. Traffic is going at like 45MPH and you have to really slow down to comfortably get over the massive driveway. Cars are always braking hard to make it or squealing their tires in. On the brighter side, the prices are nice.. and they're probably able to sell it as such because their pump lot is horribly setup. Just come ready to fight if you're getting E85. read more

Completely unorganized. One of the most uncoordinated gas station experiences I have seen. People cutting others off, no consideration for who was next in line, patrons parking in the fuel stalls, using the restrooms, buying oil to top off their leaking engines, and then leaving without purchasing any fuel. The owners and staff are oblivious. The E85 pump is in the center of the island where it cannot be used or accessed by the small percentage of cars desiring it. A complete waste of your time. I would rate no stars if I could because I left the station without filling up. read more

Since I found this place, I don't get gas anywhere else when I am in Oceanside. They usually have the cheapest gas prices in North County.

Gas prices are good but service and convenience are lacking when there is a shift change and pumps cannot be used. Employees have bad attitudes and could care less about customers. Two stars for gas prices and minus 3 stars for bad service. read more

Stop in at this place to put gas and yes it is the cheapest place for gas. Thought I try their capacinno and that was a bad choice. First off I should have tasted it before leaving but didn't. It was like drinking brown colored water. No flavor at all. Guess the employees don't taste their goods. Anyways...looking for some great CAPACINNO, check out 7-11 on Oceanside Blvd near Coast Hiway.
