The older Latin woman working the cash register at this gas station (during the weekday mornings & afternoons) is extremely disrespectful, rude, & confrontational. She is always on her phone (talking, texting, or using ear buds) while at the cash register, never says hello, will not acknowledge your presence at the register until she is done playing on her phone, and does not hesitate to raise her voice to customers who ask her for help with a pump that is glitching. I do not know how she has not been fired; maybe enough people have not complained. Her poor attitude creates a negative environment for customers and invites retaliation from other customers who are unwilling to tolerate it. read more

Next to Costco this my second choice for gas! Although I have seen this Company providing fuel to Costco! They have another busy location in Oceanside on Mission Rd. But that place is a dump! There is not enough space for all the pumps here and it causes accidents and fights and all hell breaks loose next to a very busy intersection. You have to back out to get out most of the time but people are waiting behind you - it's madness! Oceana gas is just as cheap and the station is better. I was at the Oceanside station on Coast Highway today during the morning of Sept 30/25. I needed assistance at the pump. I went inside and asked the female clerk if she could be of help since the #8 pump I was at was not functioning properly. She bristled at my request and grudgingly came outside to assist me. So sorry to upset her but her duties extend to other areas besides standing at the pump and taking customer's money. She doesn't seem to know how to say Hello or Thank You. If I owned the place she's be gone in a minute! My houseplants have more personality than her! read more

I was in here back in January and saw that they had Zebra popcorn. I had to come back and pick it up before I left for NC. I filled up with gas and then went inside to get my popcorn. The clerk was on the phone chit-chatting away and not paying attention to the customers. I think it is unprofessional and RUDE for staff to be on the phone, esp when it doesn't sound like business. He should have excused the call and said hello to me and waited on me. When we were done he could have picked up the phone and started chit- chatting again. Sad. Cheapest gas for miles. Not all pumps are active so check the pump handles for bags over them as you pull in. It's always busy but its good cheap gas. At the pump you cN only get $75 dollars worth of gas. However,if you go inside you can prepay for larger amounts. Any money left on the prepay is automatically goes back to your card. Lastly, at the end of a prepaid purchase the pump will display "card declined". Its just happens and not to worry. Just put on your gas cap on and you are done. If you're looking for the lowest prices for gasoline in Oceanside, look no further than Mohsen Oil! It's located down Mission Avenue as you head west toward the big hill leading toward downtown. There's a warehouse district across the street, and it's in an older neighborhood, so there aren't many places that draw a lot of traffic nearby. The building is rather new, and the prices can't be beat. They're almost always at least a few cents cheaper than AMPM, and they don't have the 35 cent surcharge that AMPM sneaks into its final cost, making this far less expensive as far as petrol goes. The bright green awning over the four gas pumps closest to the building, and another four gas pumps at the other side of the parking lot that are uncovered. The parking lot of this station is often crowded, could probably use a good paving, and even though there are clearly painted directional arrows that are large and white indicating which way incoming vehicles are supposed to pull in to fuel up...but don't count on anyone to actually follow them. During busy times, it can be a real mess, and cars are often waiting at an angle to get to a pump. Since they remodeled the inside of the store, it's got a much greater selection of drinks and snacks, and it's far cleaner inside. The snacks and drinks, like most convenience stores, are overpriced, so if save your money and go across the street to Z Market or someplace else that is more affordable. If your only purpose is to fuel up your tank for the cheapest price possible, then this is probably one of the two cheapest places to get gas in town. There are no hidden surcharges, and if you have the patience to navigate the parking lot and pump situation (which could use similar renovation that the building underwent, to be honest!), then it's totally worth the wait. The gas tanks are open 24 hours, so if waiting during the day isn't your thing, you can always use your card to fuel up at night. Debit cards count as "cash" when it comes to pricing (they charge a little more for credit cards, but not much to matter), so you can feel free to use your bank card and PIN to get the cash price advertised outside the store. They're usually out of receipts- so unless you're really a stickler for getting reimbursed for fuel expenses (in which case, you'd have to go inside the station and ask for one from the cashier), I usually just snap a shot of the display on the pump with my phone and wait until it clears my bank to erase it if I really want proof of how much I spent. The staff are really cool - the cashiers usually greet you when you come in, and take care of your transaction quickly and efficiently. Lines can get long though, so unless you need something other than fuel, it's easiest just to use your card to pay for your gas outside at the pump, and head to someplace less crowded to get anything else you might need (unless it's a receipt, of course!). Contrary to what some people think, cheaper gas doesn't mean inferior gas. It's the same stuff you'd get at Shell or Chevron...it just doesn't have a fancy name...because in reality, you're paying for the brand name and not the actual quality of the gas (there's plenty of info available online to back up the "big oil companies don't have better gas" myth). Make those travel dollars go farther...check out Mohsen sometime. You'll definitely end up going back once you see how much money you save. read more

Lady behind the counter ( Caucasian dirty blonde hair, fat & rude) offers to sell me a 4 pack of toilet paper at $ 9.99. I don't need TP but with all this hoarding going on, I figure I will tell her I will buy it for $5 just to have it. She snap back $9.99 !! The only thing I don't like about the station on Wisconsin in Oside is that they don't have window washing squeegees/paper towels to wash windows while filling up. My husband left me on empty when I dropped him off at the coaster station nearby and the orange light came on so I came to this gas station, not knowing where the next available gas station will be and I felt like I was in another world. The place is run down, panhandlers and homeless people come and nag you for money and they are aggressive. I was afraid to go and pay in cash so I paid with a card, right by my car and felt like I had to lock my car even though I was standing right there. I didn't feel safe at all and I normally don't feel the need to write a review for gas station but this place was just scary for someone like me in heels, pencil skirt and all alone, by myself at 6:30 am. read more

Yesterday I filled up a big SUV tank with $2.97 / gallon unleaded regular and was very happy with the total cost. Inside Moshen Oil #2 is a clean, brightly-lit convenience store with all the usual snack and drink offerings. Lots of local Oceansiders fill up here because they can dig the low prices too. I take the Mission Ave. exit off Interstate 5, go down a few blocks to S. Coast Highway, turn left and the gas station is right there. SO RUDE, I'll never ever come back and I'll remind anyone driving through Oceanside to go to the next gas station instead. Stand by, here's the full story, 24hrs+ after I've had time to calm down. The man next to me went inside to pay for his gas and the cashier put it on my pump instead ("on accident"). I didn't notice til after I swiped my card and started that it was prepaid and the other guy was back trying to get his to work. We talked, figured it out, he checked the pump# and said he definitely told her the right one, so it must have been her mistake, said he'd go in and talk to them while I stand by the cars. So, the rudest cashier of 2019 thus far came out, points at me: "you need to come inside and pay for the gas you just used." (*me, thinking* no tf I don't, that was your mistake, you deal with it, but) I go inside bc 1. I was gonna come in to sort it out anyway, and 2. It's the right thing to do. Once I get in, she rushes me to the front: "$11. Put your chip in." Cashier2 was in the middle of another customer's transaction and stops me from doing it. Cashier1 says, "K. Wait." All attitude. Once she's done she takes the customer behind him, so I'm standing there looking dumb. If they're gonna help the whole line of people that were there before me, I'm not gonna stand there looking like an ass while my kid sits in the car, under the 1pm California sun, staring at the homeless people that are also staring back at him. I look up and they're taking care of the line, neither of them even looking at me anymore, so I step out to my car that's right in front of the door where I'll see when they're ready. "Um, cops? What.. are you.. taking about..?" "JUST LEAVE AND WE'LL CALL THE COPS!" yelling in front of other customers and my CHILD. I'm trying to keep him calm because he was already trippin about the panhandlers coming up asking for money before crazy lady just threatened mom with cops for no apparent reason. I look over to see if this seemed to have escalated quickly to the other guy as well and sure enough, he had the same 'wtf is this?'-look I had on (while also trying to get the homeless people away). I asked her to relax, I'm just checking on my kid, I'll be right there. Lock up the car, walk back in and ask her if she thought that was a little rude. She keeps telling me I can leave and her manager can call the cops. Cashier2 ("manager" maybe?) just looks confused, also no help. Cashier1: "Put your card.. is no working. Pull it out. Says is no working, declined." (I just used it, no reason it should be declined) I watch her do it again.. I guess she thought I was dumb and blind, but I watched her decline my debit card right after it said Waiting for Cashier (so she could announce it again, I guess). It's NFCU and automatically pulls cash out of savings if checking is ever insufficient. Being clever? No worries. I got you, b. I asked for her name (still politely) on my way out. She told me get out and take care of my kid, that's where it got a little louder and we exchanged a few more words. She made sure to tell me twice, loudly and over the other employee trying to get her to calm down, that her name is "Jackie! JAAACKIE!!" Mind you, this would have gone just fine and smoothly, no complaints after the initial problem had she just stepped out, explained there was a mistake and asked me to come inside to handle it. RUDE woman at the register on Dec. 31, 2021. Who vets these obnoxious employees? Pump #5 would not take credit card, had to go inside to pay, then pump would not pump gas, only for a few seconds and stop, weather holding it or using the nozzle holder. Went back in for a credit and got gas elsewhere. WITCH behind the counter said she was there since 5:00 AM (it was 4:55 PM) and I'm the only one who had a problem with the pump. Yes, the gas prices are cheap. They are remodeling and they remodeled the gas pump, but not the pump handle!!! Brand new pump with the old nozzles! Only 2 of the pump handles have the option to snap into place so that you don't have to hold it the whole time. They would get more business from me because if I could lock the nozzle handle to auto dispense, I would have time to run in the market for drinks, etc. All this effort to remodel, replace your nozzle handles!!!!! read more

Went to get gas and asked the registrar to pump me on 2 and she transferred me to pump 6. Went to pump 2 to pump and nothing was coming out so went back in thinking something must be wrong with the gas pump on that #2 and the Spanish lady or Hispanic(whichever she is) old lady about 40's to 50's black hair and always acting like she tired of life checked and said my gas was on pump 6. Then a family came to that pump 6 and took my 30 dollar of gas and the lady was confused on why she paid for 20 and got 30 dollar of gas so she came in(meanwhile the long line of waiting customer) and this Hispanic or Spanish lady was frustrated telling off the black lady that pumped my gas(as if it was her fault) that she took my gas! The audacity! And telling me I told her I needed gas on pump 6 when I told her no! It was pump 2! She kept insisting it was my fault and I know it wasnt! Getting me so mad I wanted to smack her backwards(this fued went on for about 5 min) and she finally gave me my 30 dollar gas on pump 2! The black lady that took my gas was telling as we went walking out it was her fault cause she was trying to make blame her and me for her own mistake! Based on all the other reviews I am giving them 1 star as well. I hauled gasoline for 7 years in So Cal and I feel their pain. What brought me here was a CL ad hiring drivers for these guys and I think I'll pass. The thing with the panhandling is auful, I've had to deal with them in the middle of the night and run down stations are a hassle with or without the bums around. SCAM ALERT!!! I recently purchased gas at this facility. On the pumps were hand written notices about the credit card readers being out of order, due to a recent rash of fake credit cards. The sign said to do the transaction with the cashier...WHOM HAD TO HANG ON TO THE CARD while the pump was in use.
