To pave an additional small area that was covered in gravel from our existing driveway to a retaining wall. 2. To prep and sealcoat just the existing driveway and 3. To pave the addition at the wall and repave the driveway. This is precisely what the estimate read: Pave Addition at wall $3,200 Prep and Sealcoat $2,600 Pave Addition at Wall and 2" Overlay Rest of Dr. $15,485 I asked James, the owner of Jennell's, if paving the additional area to the wall was included in the $15,485 price. Even though it clearly states that it is, I wanted to make sure. He told me "Yes, it is" included. Jennell's completes the work and then tells us that no it's not included and we now owe $18,685. Before this work started, we obtained two other estimates. One was significantly higher than Jennell's, the other, was $17,500, a $1,185 difference. If we had known that James was going to up the price we would have gone with a different contractor. Also, there was some old asphalt that was dug up from in front of our garage which they dumped on our subdivision's property and some of the left-over tar down the gulley on state owned property. The bottom line, James of Jennell's Paving is a dishonest and does not respect personal property. There are other paving and sealcoating contractors in the area. I strongly suggest you choose another.

Everyone, from Nathan (project estimator and manager) to Isaiah (worksite supervisor) and his work crew, Jose and Aikeem, has worked diligently to identify and rectify a variety of foundation and crawlspace issues common to houses as old as ours (70+ yrs). Our house, having been built and modified in stages, over the course of all those years, presented some unique and complex challenges. Each member of the team assigned to our project consistently demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to address all of these hurdles. They identified the relevant problems, developed a plan to address them, and completed the project in the time they had allotted to do so. Throughout the process, from assessment and cost estimation, through to the completion of the project, we found every member of our JES team to be extremely hard working and attentive to our input, as well as eager to answer our questions and address particular concerns along the way.
