At first I was very excited to work with Lori and her team. She prepped my house for my first…read morerenters and was able to come by and check on them during their stay. However, after the renters left, I came up to the cabin with my friends. The first thing I noticed was that my decorative hand towels, half of my bath towels, half of my beach towels (I have a hot tub) and some kitchen towels were missing. I asked Lori if she had them. She said yes, they were at her place to be washed (even though I have a washer and dryer on site). I asked her to please bring them over so that my guests and I could use them. She told me she would bring them in the morning. As of this writing, it is 5 days later. Everyday she has told me that either she, her cleaner, or her husband would bring them. In 5 days, no one has come to my cabin at all. That part is frustrating, but another frustrating thing is, I arrived at my cabin to find it totally left unlocked after her cleaning crew was here! I also noticed (because I have a smart home) that the home was left unlocked the last time, before the previous renters checked in. Another thing that is causing me a bit of stress at the moment, is that I haven't heard back from her since yesterday morning. Her voicemail is now full, she hasn't responded to texts and she has my spare keys to my cabin. If I don't reach her before I leave today, I will need to change my locks, but it is a holiday, so finding a store open today will be nearly impossible. I will have to hire someone to change the locks after I leave. Oh, also, one of my guests staying this week says she is positive that her bed linens were not washed. I have my doubts if the linens on my bed were washed as well. The pillow case had a mark on it that looked like a dried liquid of some sort. It was a small spot, but still, would not have likely been there on washed linens. All in all, it has just been very frustrating. I can understand removing towels to wash them, but bring them back! They are here for a purpose. I have since gone online and ordered new nice beach towels. But beach towels are expensive, and I didn't need to do that. I also will have to bring them back up here to Big Bear on my next visit, because Amazon doesn't deliver here, and I could not find beach towels at the local shops here this Christmas/New Year's week. Oh, 2 more small points: it appears some of my kitchen cleaning supplies are missing too. Just little things, like a long arm sponge that I use to wash dishes with and my green backed scrubbing sponges. So, I couldn't properly wash my own dishes until I went to the store and purchased these supplies again. Lastly, the last renter's children marked on my walls with crayon. I was able to easily wash part of it off, which leads me to think that Lori's team either didn't see it, or didn't try to clean it. Anyway, for now I will continue to wait for them to bring my keys (and towels). I hope they come, and I hope I can get on the road to go home before night fall.

You know it's bad when you arrive to your own cabin and immediately start cleaning it. Coffee stains everywhere in the kitchen. All our trinkets we're all over the cabin, very unorganized. We had about 10 towels from different cabins in our place, our linens are all gone and mismatched. We spent HOURS AND HOURS cleaning our own cabin just so the next cleaners helped us clean on time for our next guest today. I honestly can't believe a "cleaner" can leave a place so disgusting and destroyed. We trusted her with our business and our cabin and we couldn't be more disappointed!!!
