And I have tried my hardest to refrain from scratching. Mary Orlando has 17 years of experience under her belt now. She is a perfectionist and is very crafty when it comes to measuring your face up to ensure the work she does on you will maintain a balance to your features. She has clients coming to see her from all over the bay area that she tries to make it as convenient as possible for you to get to her. I did not want to drive all the way from SSF to Castro Valley so she offered to pick me up from the Bart station and dropped me off when we were done. I don't think anyone would do that for their client. I first found out about Mary through a friend's cousin (she had her eyebrows done by Mary). Mary charges around $400 for a first time customer, which includes a free touch-up, and $150 per visit after that. I think it's a great investment considering that it lasts up to 2-3 years when you take good care of them (especially during its healing process). I had my brows done by a lady named Kanako @ Venus Permanent in downtown SF previously, but the color didn't last more than a year (which is why I had to find someone else better). She also did not accept appointments on weekends. A major plus: Mary will accept your appointment on weekends and is fairly flexible!!! Note: She accepts cash or check only. No credit cards.

First off, this space is accessible. Even though this location is near CV High there is always parking available and there is a private parking lot! So one of my typical stressors (and likely yours) is lifted! Second, Heather is super accommodating, I emphasized that I have sensitive skin and she gave me a free consultation before I had my first real facial. This gave me the opportunity to test her products and see how she treated her clientele before I booked an official appointment, but when I did I was not disappointed. In fact, my skin felt supple, dewey and I was glowing! (And trust me, this is difficult. I have severe eczema and it is hard to trust anyone, but my dermatologist with my skin.), but with Heather's patience and help I was able to get a full facial and feel the most relaxed and fresh than I have ever felt in the longest time. I also buy skin care products from Heather. I use the moisturizer she recommended everyday and my face always feels so dang soft. Whenever I leave her table, I feel like a brand new woman. Not only does my face feel smooth as a baby's butt from the facial, but the rest of my body feels well rested thanks to her table warmer. I just moved to San Leandro about a year before and I was used to getting mines done at Faces Plus in San Francisco, but after the last time I went, they didn't do such a good job so I decided to look elsewhere. I found Yolanda and made an appointment and she was very sweet and knowledgeable. She fixed the arch on my right side and drew out the brows before starting. She took her time which I really appreciate and they came out better than I could've hoped for - waaay better than even my first time at Faces Plus! She gave me a little package of ointment and told me what I should and shouldn't do to take care of them so they wouldn't fade as fast.
