I found Yolanda and made an appointment and she was very sweet and knowledgeable. She fixed the arch on my right side and drew out the brows before starting. She took her time which I really appreciate and they came out better than I could've hoped for - waaay better than even my first time at Faces Plus! She gave me a little package of ointment and told me what I should and shouldn't do to take care of them so they wouldn't fade as fast. And I have tried my hardest to refrain from scratching. Mary Orlando has 17 years of experience under her belt now. She is a perfectionist and is very crafty when it comes to measuring your face up to ensure the work she does on you will maintain a balance to your features. She has clients coming to see her from all over the bay area that she tries to make it as convenient as possible for you to get to her. I did not want to drive all the way from SSF to Castro Valley so she offered to pick me up from the Bart station and dropped me off when we were done. I don't think anyone would do that for their client. I first found out about Mary through a friend's cousin (she had her eyebrows done by Mary). Mary charges around $400 for a first time customer, which includes a free touch-up, and $150 per visit after that. I think it's a great investment considering that it lasts up to 2-3 years when you take good care of them (especially during its healing process). I had my brows done by a lady named Kanako @ Venus Permanent in downtown SF previously, but the color didn't last more than a year (which is why I had to find someone else better). She also did not accept appointments on weekends. A major plus: Mary will accept your appointment on weekends and is fairly flexible!!! Note: She accepts cash or check only. No credit cards.

I've been going to Jenny for eyebrow microblading for the past 3 years, and I can confidently say that she's one of the best in the business. She's not only highly skilled and professional, but she's also incredibly kind and attentive to her clients' needs. Before going to her, I had first gotten my eyebrows done in the Castro District of SF, where the results turned out so horrible that I cried for several days. Since discovering Jenny's business, my self-confidence has made a complete 180. Even though I've moved to different cities over the years, making the drive to Castro Valley to see her is always worth it! What I love about Jenny is that she always takes the time to measure my eyebrows and reshape them until I'm completely happy with the results. She never rushes the process, and she's always willing to listen to my feedback and make adjustments as needed. This year, I decided to make my eyebrows much more arched than I normally do, and Jenny did a fantastic job of making the appropriate adjustments to fit my facial features. But what really sets Jenny apart is the way she checks in with me throughout the procedure. It's been a year and a half since my treatment and unfortunately my brows have turned red. One is also slightly outside the line of my natural brow, making the redness even more obvious. Sadly I will probably have to wait for them to fade as I am not sure how something like this can be fixed without potentially making it worse. read more

I just moved to San Leandro about a year before and I was used to getting mines done at Faces Plus in San Francisco, but after the last time I went, they didn't do such a good job so I decided to look elsewhere. I found Yolanda and made an appointment and she was very sweet and knowledgeable. She fixed the arch on my right side and drew out the brows before starting. She took her time which I really appreciate and they came out better than I could've hoped for - waaay better than even my first time at Faces Plus! She gave me a little package of ointment and told me what I should and shouldn't do to take care of them so they wouldn't fade as fast. I will definitely be going back probably in a few years to get a touch up, I'm so glad I was able to find this place. Thanks Yelp!

I found Jess and I'm usually a threading girl but was willing to give it a chance. Jess did a great job doing what I requested and my eyebrows looks so much cleaner and symmetrical! She was really friendly and we chatted a bit while she was waxing my eyebrows. Her shop is cute and tucked in a quiet plaza. She also has another eyebrow artist and nail technician onsite if you want to get any other services done.

She was able to give me the time & day I was looking for (which was the only time & day I was available). I go in and everyone working there was so warm and welcoming, which to be honest, it's pretty hard to find nowadays. I sat down, adjusted my chair and Jessica started working on my eyelashes.
