The Good: Still like what it used to taste like from what I can remember. Hits the spot every time!…read more The Bad: Adel's is a fierce competitor a few blocks down with a long line. BUT, imho Adel's doesn't really taste as good as the original Halal Guys in terms of flavor and fragrance. The chicken from Adel's is in bigger chunks and some argue is more tender, but the flavor is definitely not close. Also, it's important that it comes with lettuce, tomatoes and a little onion to balance everything out. Finally, You must get both the spicy red and white sauce together to make it all come together! The Ugly: The smell is addictive, so if you walk by, it's hard to resist, even if you've just eaten a nice meal somewhere else. We couldn't resist. Gotta hit the gym hard for the next few days!

The guys working the cart are genuinely some of the friendliest people you'll meet in midtown…read more Always smiling, always patient, even when the line is wrapped around the block. And that line is no joke. You will wait. Plan accordingly. Here's my dilemma: every single time I eat here, my stomach lets me know about it later. Without fail. I've tried adjusting the hot sauce, going easy on portions... doesn't matter. Something about this food and my digestive system just don't agree. At this point I have to accept that it's probably not for me. So why do I keep coming back? Because at 2 AM after a late night, when everything else is closed and you're starving in Times Square, that platter of chicken and rice over white sauce smells like salvation. They're the only game in town at that hour, and honestly, in the moment, it hits. It's the next morning I regret it. If your stomach handles it better than mine, you'll probably love it. The food is tasty and the portions are huge for the price. I just wish I could enjoy it without paying for it twice.

This place opened only a few months ago, but I wish it had been here for years. This would…read moreabsolutely be my stop if ever I'm on route 23. I don't care which way I'm going, if I got a bust a U-turn, I'm bustin' it. I'm already partial to hot, so when I saw the words " HOT DOGS" on their sign as I was approaching I had already passed it and actually did bust a U-turn! I pulled into the space available for about seven or eight cars (which I'm sure is more when the snow is not at the way) and came up to the window where I was greeted by Rachelle who pointed out that Her and I were 20 with near matching shirts, lol. Already I liked her. As I stared at the menu, I started having one of those brain farts because now I wanted to try everything. I settled on a double Italian hotdog, and I advised her to not go crazy on the potatoes, peppers, and onions because I plan to eat it while I was driving. This is not a recommendation, I'm just being transparent that this hot dog would've had WAYYYY more filling had I not said anything. Trust that I'm kicking myself in the a** for that one. Anyways, after placing my order, she asked me to wait in the car and then she would bring out my order as soon as it was done. This was also awesome considering how cold it is outside and I didn't have to stand around and wait for them. I don't think I waited more than a few minutes and here she arrived with what I'm going to swear blew my mind! I'm actually a little disappointed that I didn't get two of them. Now, I'm literally 45 minutes away, still driving and writing this review... Because this could not wait! I really hope that anyone whoever ever reads this review makes it a point to go hit this spot up and try them out. I actually look forward to the next time that I have to come out this way and I'm sure you will too. This is no question going to become a staple for me and I wish for them the success to make this possible.

We all shared the fries. I would definitely recommend a road trip for this place! While waiting for the food we chatted with the owners. One of which is a Vietnam Veteran. He was currently dressed up as Santa (since it's December) waiving at cars and handing out Candy Canes for the kids.

We ordered wing with blue cheese and a ranch - and ordered onion rings and a pizza - Wings came out only blu cheese she walked away i had to call her over i asked for the ranch we ordered with wings she tells me i have to wait till the other food comes out - I said so I'm supposed to eat my wings cold she says what do you want me to get it - i said well yea you work here no . Angry walked right to kitchen which is right at end of bar couldn't understand why couldn't grab and the sauce look pre made so just had to grab it . So we eat our food wings ok - pizza horrible only thing decent were onion rings . After eating got check she decided to tell me that if i decide to come back there i shouldn't be so rude and it's not her job to get what i ordered ! She said i don't make the rules here so maybe the owner needs to speak with her about rules or if she is not allowed to grab a premade sauce that was ordered with the food she can't grab it i doubt the owner would not let her grab a sauce that was missing !!! She clearly didn't know what she was doing waitress from other side brought food for bar patron she kept walking pass it she came from dinning side just to give to person at bar!!! And rolled eyes bartender was also shaking an old fashion . Look like nice spot but i would not go back with that bartender . Today is 2/7/26 @ 5pm think her name is jyoti is what is on receipt !
