I walk in to a pleasant greeting from the girls...they ask me if I want a smock and I decline. Ask if I want a beverage and I choose coffee extra light no sugar and they prepare it and serve it to me at my seat...and then the consultation about how I'd like my hair this time. I love coming to G Salon! I have only been coming here for about a year but I absolutely love it. The salon itself is super chic and clean. the entire staff is friendly and very helpful, The entire staff have made me felt welcome every time I have been in here. everyone is professional and non-stuffy or pretentious they really want to help you look and feel your best!! My previous hairdresser at another CT salon became worse and worse over the years and when I came to Erica at G Salon I was more than impressed. She really takes the time to listen to what you are trying to what you want and recommends different options on how to achieve the look. My former salon just wasn't getting it right and the place started looking a little run down too. I found this salon online and the good reviews prompted me to make an appointment. I'm glad I did because I got a great haircut from Gail the owner and the shampoo service was the most relaxing I've ever had which was nice since the day I went I was really jet lagged. I've had big city cuts which cost a lot more and were a disappointment. This cut will grow in great too. The Salon is immaculate and all the staff are friendly. Went for an eyebrow shaping which I thought would be plucking. Got a quick wax and was out the door. I had to pluck for an additional 10 minutes to get my eyebrows symmetrical. Less than a week later and all the waxed area had hair growing back. Will not go back here. $20 is too much for a wax. read more
