They sell a little gear, helmets & gloves and things you might need if you randomly picked up a motorcycle and hadn't thought ahead to spend weeks researching gear online and building the perfect kit. I sold a bike to a girl (her first bike) and she didn't have a helmet, so I pointed her in their general direction. On the way over, she accidentally stalled it out and couldn't get it started again, so she walked it over to these guys who had already closed, but were sitting around anyway, and they showed her how to jump it off itself (super old bike, you gotta have some tricks to keep em on the road this long), and sent her on her way with a new & very helpful skill in her tool kit, so to speak. And maybe a helmet or gloves. I'm not 100% sure, but that's why she was headed that way in the first place. Yeah, they make a living by fixing bikes, but these guys are also willing to give you a tip or show you how to do something yourself to keep your bike out of the shop. The service was good for two weeks, and we had a written and verbal agreement to pay in installments and that was agreed upon by both parties. Service has been paid $300/$700, until I had a small accident after using my rear brakes to shift down and stop at a red light. The rear wheel locked while in motion. After close examination the brake pad he replaced is nonexistent, and the piston went through the rotor. After a simple brake service in addition to other services done, I will now have to replace the brake caliper, the piston, rotor, and new brake pad, I will now be spending double to repair the bike after his damages. Mechanic Alex has since blocked my number and ghosted me after agreeing to fix the issue he caused. I will be pursuing this issue to the highest extent of the law. Thankfully I am not dead. He has zero organization and poor communication. The issue has since been professionally diagnosed and not based on assumption! Harley compatible parts were not used for the brake servicing! Also not disclosed was the ongoing issue Alex had while doing my rear brakes, to the point that diagrams had to be looked up to determine whether or not he was correct! Not only was the tone and choice of words on the phone call I had to make from a separate number despicable but extremely rude to a customer and friend he had a personal friendship with. The issue after being professionally diagnosed was deemed not a user error but a mechanical error. Mr. Borghi since has still not returned any call or message and since deemed he is not responsible for the work done when clearly he was the only person to touch my brakes. There should be no surprise after reading this review as this will remain on his conscious forever!

A year ago, I bought an E-bike, and unlike some bike shops that turn up their noses and say they won't work on them (ahem, Keswick Cycle), this shop openly welcomes them in. I had to get my rear wheel trued and tensioned, as I broke a few spokes after hitting a massive Philly pothole, and these guys took great care of it (after I had brought it to another bike shop, where the guy proceeded to rip spokes off of my wheel and said it was unfixable). He did a full inspection of my motorcycle and found a few issues with it that could have caused a real safety problem on the road. I had my motorcycle inspected by another company last year and they didn't find any of these issues and these problems had been developing over a long time so it should have been found last year.
