If I could select ZERO stars I would!…read more I was shopping for an Indian motorcycle and found a beauty at there location... 2018 Chieftan with Stage 2 upgrade and many other upgrades. I paid CASH for it, almost $18k, and was never even offered an extended warranty. If it was included in the jumbled paperwork I signed, it was NEVER voiced to me. Long story short, the bike is a P.O.S. I bought it in May of 2025... rode it around, planned a major trip in September and took it in for service and new tires in August. Almost $1k later I was told that one oil drain plug was stripped and could not be removed. WHY? I just bought the bike! They specifically told me the service was not due because they did it prior to me buying the bike... so what they were telling me is that THEY ruined the drain plug when they did the service on it! They gave me the bike back saying they "sealed" the drain plug so I could go on my trip and told me it needed to be brought back in over the winter to be fixed. Ok... then it got worse. 300 miles from home the engine failed. I put less than 400 miles on it before my long trip and was stuck in Carlisle, PA. I called... I texted... NOTHING! They ignored me. Mind you, during the purchase process my texts were IMMEDIATELY responded to and even after we communicated when I had questions... but now that I had a problem... NOTHING! I ended up paying for a Uhaul and completed my trip, because my buddy's bike was still functional - it was a Goldwing so of course it was still working great. I chose to not go to them or contact them after I got home because frankly, I would have left the dealership in handcuffs. I cannot believe a dealership would treat someone that way. And for the record... I bought ANOTHER bike, a black 2018 Chieftan Classic, to ride this season and go on my trip in September because that 1st Chieftan is not going to get fixed any time soon (I called dealers and shops, all of which told me they could not get it in because it was the riding season and they did not want to close off a bay to work on mine). Am I crazy? Should I have stuck with Kawasaki? I put almost 45k miles on my 2011 Vaquero and NEVER had a major issue with it, NEVER! I still have a 2002 Kawi Drifter that is in perfect running condition! I did all the maintenance on them and they never required anything out of the norm. Currently I am planning on removing the engine and inspecting the lifters/push rods. If I find nothing, I don't know where to take it... I am not going to pay in excess of $2,500 just to have the engine pulled at a dealer and looked at, that's ridiculous! I would have to pay an exuberant amount of money to get a bike in running condition that I put less than 500 miles on and already spent over $18k on!?! No thank you... Pardon my French but FUCK COSMOS and if this new to me Indian gives me problems I will go back to Kawasaki! Side note: Why did they close their Trevos location? They moved to Bala Cynwyd with another motorcycle group?!?!

August 21, 2024…read more I just want to mention how much I like dealing with East Coast Cycle Center in Bensalem, Pa. I purchased a new 2023 Can-Am Spyder RT Sea to Sky. It is their top of the line reverse trike. I dealt with Mike ( Sales Manager ) and had a wonderful experience, as usual. I have purchased 6 trikes from them over the years. I keep going back because of the great service and parts department. Anything I need they will have in just a few days if not in stock. I went there today and told them that the shock that holds up the drivers seat doesn't work. It keeps falling down. The service dept said they will order the part and will install it when it comes in a few days from today. That is what I consider good service and great customer relations. When I purchased the trike Mike gave me a free drivers backrest at no charge to close the deal. That's worth $359 plus installation. The backrest arrived 4 days later and they installed it immediately. A couple months later I noticed that the right front black inner fender broke off at the lower joint. They ordered the part and again it arrive a few days later. They initial charge was $277 for the labor. It might have happened as a road hazard where something hit it, but I don't know. Mike spoke to the service department and they didn't charge me anything. I will always buy from them and recommend them to anyone who is interested in a Can-Am Spyder or any other vehicle they sell. Kudos to the owner, sales staff, service department and parts. They are the best. Gordon L. Delanco, NJ.

When my wife retired, she had some time due to her, and decided we could spare it. Soooooo..... Remember back at Easter time, I broke my leg? The LAST thing I wanted was to have to hold up a two wheel, 800 pound bike with a leg which occasionally gives me trouble. After much deliberation, we decided a Trike configuration made the most sense. Enter East Coast Cycle. I contacted Juan Hernandez to see if a 2023 Can-Am Spyder was still for sale. It was. Friendly, VERY knowledgeable about the various models, he was more than accommodating. When I walked in yesterday to pick the bike up, it was shined up, fueled up, and ready to go. *EVERY* employee who I interacted with were great, and ALL went out of their way to not continue on their way before making sure there was nothing else they could do for me. I'm a bearded old guy with a scraggly beard, many places would dismiss me. They offer a wide range of services, I'll update as I use those. Have fun riding!

Early August 2017 I called and asked if they had a Yamaha XT250. 1 of the 2 owner's (I'll call him…read more"G") said he didn't have one then, but he'd get one in for me to test ride. He calls me back and says the other owner (call him "A") won't do it unless I put a non-refundable deposit down, because they don't want to be stuck with it on their lot. Since I had researched and planned on buying this bike anyway, I said okay, and put $500 deposit on my credit card. GREAT way to conduct business....a $500 test-ride if I ended up not liking it, or be faced with having to buy something else from them (nice customer lock-in). Bought it end of August....we had set up a meeting time for me to sign paperwork and ride it home. When we got done the paperwork, "G" says the mechanics are doing the final check to make sure the bike is good to go.....so me and my ride waited an hour extra for this. Rode home, and the front wheel felt spongy (I've been riding for 51 yrs...from age 10-61). Added air when I got home (it was 6 lbs low). On my 3rd ride, the right throttle housing suddenly broke loose on acceleration, and the assembly started sliding off of the handle bar....I tightened it. After about 100 miles, I braked, and the seat moved forward....2 bolts hold it on underneath....maybe both were there, maybe just 1, but road vibration caused it/them to fall out (100 miles on it now, and I could have been killed by any of these 3 things). This time I called "G" and complained that we had sat there for an hour for the final going-over, and the bike is released to me in this condition. At this point, he figured he'd pick my bike up and go over it again, which he did and I had it back the next day (and to add, I wanted some consideration, and asked for 2 quarts of oil and an oil filter for my first change, which he provided). So as I said, I bought it in August...mind slipped and I forgot about the paperwork. In December I called "G" and he said "oops, I'll do it today". In February I called again and he said "Oh, sorry, I forgot to tell you that the original paperwork was lost, but I'll get right on it". March I called PennDOT again...nothing. I called Corporate Yamaha...they said they could call and prod, but there was nothing they could do. I emailed "G", but of course, no response. April 2nd I spoke with PennDOT again and they still have nothing. This time, I called the other owner "A" and he said he'd do it, which he did, and I finally got the Title on May 4th and Registration on May 10, 2018. This company obviously doesn't care ONE BIT for their customers. $500 deposit (so I could test-ride it, which I would have lost if for some reason I didn't want the bike). BUT, after cashing my check for the full price, they were done with me. Blatant disregard for me or my time...not answering emails....blowing me off month after month. SERIOUSLY, 9 MONTHS to get the paperwork (6 of which I was riding illegally with a Temp Reg that expired in Nov 2017....I even called the police and asked, and they said it wouldn't matter...I'd still get ticketed for no current Registration). "A" should buy out "G" and start running this shop the way it should be run....until then, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I have been going here for years, and have seen a few people come and go but for the most part have always kept the knowledgeable, loyal, and quality employees. I never have a problem with returns or them honoring their warranties for free replacements on defective parts (defective products happen no matter the brand or store). The people are usually pleasant and happy to help and have gone out of their way to help their customers. Since I've been shopping there for so many years, I've gotten to know the upper level management (DM's & CM's) which are just as great. The parts are very reasonably priced, and offer high quality well known brands. The tools available (including the rental) are decent quality and I have little complaints... they do have cheaper tools too, but if you're in the industry, they can be easily distinguished apart. Hope the store with the people stick around for a while... rare for me to say with the chain store industry.
