The wood siding had lead but his company is lead-safe certified (you'll be surprised how few contractors actually are - make sure you check their accreditation from DOL) and did a very careful job of removing the wood layer . This was important to us since we had young kids. Most importantly, I felt like Greg is trustworthy and does what he says he will. The contract laid everything out clearly and he completed everything we discussed in a timely manner and the end results were excellent. We've received many compliments from our neighbors!

(Proposal…read more#16872151) OCI360 Exteriors sent out someone to look at the project (June 7, 2024) and spent a few hours measuring and talking about procedure and policies etc. He gave me a quote within a few hours and even offered to lower it if we would pay cash. He called his boss while we were sitting there, who offered an even better price if we would let them put a sign up and pressure us to agree to terms on the spot, which I said I would not do without my spouse. They sent the proposal (June 18, 2024) and we agreed to terms that day or the next and I signed the contract. They sent an invoice for the first third of the work (June 28, 2024, I didn't see this the first time, and requested that they resent it on July 1, 2024). They sent the project manager out to look at the job (On or about July 3, 2024) and look at logistics. He told me that once the deposit was paid they will file a permit the same day with our town. I texted them immediately after the deposit was sent (July 8, 2024) and my phone rang within 10 seconds. They said they mismeasured the job (two weeks earlier) and it would require $5500 more for them to do the job. This was a 68% increase over the agreed upon (signed contract) price. They asked me how much my other offers were for and I said I wouldn't tell them that and that I expected the company to hold up their end of our contract. I do not think they are losing money at all. After two weeks since I paid and they have still not filed a permit or delivered a dumpster as promised. The project manager texted me today to say that his office would start processing the return of my deposit as they would not do the job unless we agreed to pay 68% more than the quoted, signed upon price. If this review is still posted here, then this matter has not been resolved, and my money has still not been refunded.

They didn't finish the outer walls, didnt use a gfi outlet for the bathroom outlet, never scheduled the final inspection, and left 2 piles of trash, (1 inside, 1 outside). Communication was horrible, often weeks at a time without it, and the project manager Dan still won't return messages about finishing the project!!!! Run, don't walk, away from this company!!!!

Description Of Work: Insulation of room…read more Drywall put up with it being skim coated and sanded three times Installed the new windows I bought Custom made mantel around brick hearth Custom made the framing around all door frames, windows, brick hearth and baseboards Painting My husband and I undertook a remodeling DIY that soon became apparent that we were well out of our range of skill, knowledge or natural talent. We thought that we had a very out dated family room which included pink shag carpet and dark "wood" paneling. Upon taking some of the paneling down, we found that the walls and paneling were extended below the floor. We also found that there were almost 2 sets of walls one with the studs and such as you would expect and a free floating type wall built on top to adhere the paneling to. It does not sound as big of a deal until you realize that it was done to hide the electrical work. At this point we decided that it was time to call in a professional. We had a few estimates given on the room and what it would take to completion and they ranged from $10,000 and up. A friend recommended Anthony from Strong Point Restoration. He came and looked at the room and did something that all the others did not, he told us where all our obstacles are. For example since this is a home built in the 50's our walls were uneven and not square, the room was not insulated properly, the electrical wires were getting pinched in some areas and were ok in others, there was a 3"inch gap between the wall and the sub floor. Our brick hearth that our wood stove is on was also uneven just to name a few items wrong. Anthony planned out with us what he can do and set out a vision of how he is going to fix the issues. He walked us through his plan from leveling out the interior walls, brick hearth, insulating and painting. His estimate came in at $9,800, but what really sold me was the way he included us on his plan and also pointed out several things all the others did not. In 2 weeks Anthony was here almost every day from about 9am till about 3pm. He was focused, skilled and an efficient energizer bunny. He has a keen eye for detail and perfection. I now have a room that I am proud to show off and honestly do not want to leave. We will be calling him again to remodel our out dated kitchen

They provided a schematic of how the door would look, and an easy to understand and competitively priced project proposal. The proposal also detailed several options we were considering, including 1/2" glass. We opted to move forward with Pioneer, they estimated it would take approximately three weeks to order our custom door. Just under three weeks later, our door arrived and was installed a few days later. There were no issues, the measurements were correct, door looked great and worked perfectly and swings easily, all 90 pounds of glass. And the 1/2" glass gives the shower a high-end look and feel.
