BUYER BEWARE!!!! I do not recommend purchasing ANYTHING from this company. Their customer service is horrible. I ordered 10 umbrella stands, after just one summer of use, this is what 4 of the stands look like, crumbled messes. I was told that this was "my fault", due to rock salt or bleach, NEITHER of which was used. Obviously, since this only happened to 4 of the 10 stands, this product was defective but they refuse to replace or refund anything for this purchase. BUYERS BE ADVISED! We purchased beautiful dining, lounging, and sectional seating and tables from Summer Classics in Nashville. However, we have been extremely disappointed with their commitment to quality and customer care--it does not exist! We purchased 4 of their superstone tables. One of the four is clearly defective as it has turned nearly white while the others have remained in good condition. All the tables are on our patio and all are stored the exact same way seasonably. It is absolutely clear that one of the tables is defective from photographs provided to the store . (The photos are clearly date stamped within the warranty period; see 3 photos attached). Several times the Nashville store has promised to get back to us, including their store manager, but failed to do so. We have called the Summer Classics toll free customer service and they advised that the issue must be elevated by the local store before they can get involved. We spent a great deal of money on this furniture and we honestly expected better from a store like Summer Classics only to be disappointed about their failure to keep their commitment. Friends warned me after purchase that the deliveries are always shorted. My outdoor furniture showed up missing a whole couch of cushions missing . Turns out the "white glove" delivery service had discarded cushions in their trash compactor . This was caught on video . As a hospitality business that spent over $100,000 for commercial patio furniture with this company, I am extremely dissatisfied with this companies service & responsiveness. Repeated emails & calls from me, with no call back, no apparent care for the customer, in fact it appears that i have been more of an irritant to them. The management team shows no apparent care or respect for their customers. Believe the other reviewers, stay away, you will be treated horribly, and likely wait over a year for the product, when 3 months was stated. We stopped by after lunch at Bartaco to look around a little. They had the front door propped open on a Saturday afternoon & the place was packed. I thought there was an event going on with the amount of people going in & out. It just turned out to be the 12 South rush. It's crazy how much this area has grown in the last 5 years. The store is rather large, lots of seating areas, dinning tables, knitted rugs & outdoor items. The specialize in luxury outdoor entertaining items. Many of the items would be perfect for the inside too. I'd be worried to leave a $985 armchair outside in the rain. The style is very causal, it's not trying to be something it's not. The staff is very helpful & friendly. They had hot cider, snacks sprinkled throughout the store, along with a fridge with water and sodas. Nice little touched for when you're looking to drop a few thousand on an area rug. This place makes me wish I had a black American Express card. Oh well, it's still a nice place to look through on a overcast Saturday afternoon. read more

Most is on the more upscale end, but you can get some very reasonable deals as well on very high quality product. Most of the furniture looks like it could be inside your living room, but all is made to survive the outside elements! I ordered replacement cushions in June from Summer Classics in Nashville and I'm still waiting for them - 6 months ago!

I have had now TWO miserable ordering experiences with orders from this store. The quality of the furniture and style of store are beautiful. Sadly if you don't buy an in-store item, get ready to wait. And wait. And wait. Here come excuses. Wait some more. 1) summer 2017. Met a a very attentive summer classics designer. Picked out fabulous pool furniture. Waited and waited. Emailed often and dismissed frequently as impatient. Finally after weeks beyond promised delivery received apology and told "that designer is no longer with us" as if to imply blame. Eventually pool for furniture arrived..... after the summer conclusion. Sweet. Not really. 2) new designer (our own. Not from the store). She Picked out two side tables for our bedroom. We personally Went In to make purchase in store and saw Old designer from last summer "hey wait! We were told she was gone?!" Flashbacks from the first purchase- eye rolling regarding emails. "Be patient!" Today after months, told "we don't know why it's taking so long". .... Good God. Clearly we are the idiots for hoping in a second chance. The furniture is great. Is it worth the wait? This is an absolutely gorgeous store with extremely attractive and well designed furniture, patio-esque accoutrements, and exquisite design pieces and decor for all types of homes. Speaking of design, they offer design services as well. Please keep in mind these items are expensive. Super expensive. Like, we found a $1000 ficus tree, expensive... Seriously. Everything in the store was amazing, the folks were super nice, and welcomed us, offering a water or coffee while we browsed, and seemed genuinely interested in assisting us, should we have needed it. There were several patio sets I would have loved to had brought out to our deck and set up, including amazing designs, colors, and everything that screams "The South," but alas, when just one of the throw pillows was over $100, it isn't something we can likely afford any time soon. We did end up buying a very cool fossil-type stone placard as a fun element to spruce up our bar at home, however. All this to say, their furniture and offerings are excellent, superiorly well designed, and seem to all be quality pieces, but be wary of the price when entering, as sticker-shock is soon to follow. 5-stars for the stuff, 4 stars for the prices. read more

I won't be buying from Summer Classics again. While the furniture seems perfectly adequate, the cushions, pillows, and custom covers are just terrible. After 18 months all the inside seams are completely fraying because no one bothered to finish the seams properly. This is not the quality of workmanship I expect for the price I paid. read more

Similar to others, I experienced extreme delays in receiving my furniture. When it finally arrived, the couch had blue stains all over the bottom and the chairs had the incorrect nail head color. As requested, I sent photos of the issues in May. After repeated requests for a status on the replacement pieces, in August they asked me to send photos again. Clearly, nothing was done between May and August to remedy my issue. To top it off, they charged my credit card over $1600 for two pieces that were never even ordered. I'm going on almost a month now of being promised they are processing my refund, and November will make it a year since my initial purchase and I still don't have the correct pieces. Absolutely absurd. It's a shame, because the store has great products and selection, just extremely poor management and responsiveness, especially considering the price range. read more

Outside of Restoration Hardware, this is the worst customer experience I have had in Nashville. Sales persons were friendly but the furniture took over six months and it has now been a year and I still have furniture without cushions. You can't sit on it because the seat is webbing. I have contacted several times over the past few months and my last inquiries have gotten no response at all. We purchased a very expensive light gray outdoor table and 8 chairs in late summer. Once received and placed on covered patio the chairs have started to turn a honey color as if they did not have enough stain from factory. We have called multiple times with no responses or offers to correct the problem. The customer service after purchase is horrible. If you're visiting the area and love home decor, go browse this place. The pieces look great, and they have wonderful vignettes. It also smelled amazing! They have diffusers for sale. I think the one I smelled the most was called Classic. We didn't make a purchase, so I can't speak to that, but it's a nice place to walk through. My friend and I had met for a bit of 12 South shopping and after enjoying the nearby coffee house we decided to walk over and take a look at this store. I was surprised to see this caliber and variety of outdoor furniture there. Everything we saw says quality and the prices aren't that high, especially some of the pieces on sale. Don't know if the good prices are due to this being the off season, but I don't really care why, just like the deals. We had purchased some low quality furniture elsewhere for the screened in porch on our old house, and now that we have moved, we didn't even want to waste the time and energy relocating it to our new home. Based on my limited experience, there's not much of a middle ground on what is available for outdoorish use. I can tell you that going cheap is something you will likely regret, as both the structure and the cushions on our old furniture is shot, after only 3 years of use. Those cushions are now so faded and starting to come apart at the seams. We decided to invest in quality this time, and last week had visited a retailer over by 100 Oaks, but didn't get such a good feeling about the fast talking salesman there. The atmosphere at Summer Classics was much more relaxed and we took our time looking at and experiencing the different pieces and sets. They answered my questions and helped me make selections that were right for our home. Went back later with my husband and we made a purchase. Do not make the mistake of buying this furniture, not one piece. I have a sectional outdoor sofa arrangement and have a broken cushion frame. I called to order a new one and they told me SIX MONTH CONTAINER ORDER AND COULD NOT TELL ME HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST UNTIL I ORDERED IT!.. The previous time I ordered a part it honestly took me 2 months just to get an email answered. I had to go over the girls head to get the part ordered. They gave me the part for free which I was very grateful however 3 weeks after I received an answer to the email in the form of another very stupid question. Obvious she was putting me off for some reason so I unloaded on her for taking so long and still not giving me the answer to some very simple questions like "How much does it cost?" and "What is the availability?" Based on our experience we would suggest NOT buying anything manufactured by Summer Classics. We purchased outdoor furniture from Summer Classics from a different store. The furniture simply did not last much beyond the 3-year warranty. When we contacted them, first we got the run around, then they promised they would make an accommodation, and finally they said that "we are compelled to stay within the warranty time frame for all claims" so they did nothing. So if you need outdoor furniture that lasts more than 3 years, my opinion - buy from a different manufacturer. read more

I had great experience here. Met Brittany the minute we walked in the door, and she was fabulous! She helped us pick out furniture without overwhelming us (which is easy to do). Then she came by the house and measure the new porch (while dodging work men) at no extra charge. She brought back accessories to choose from once the furniture was delivered. Before traveling to CMA Fest in Nashville, I found this place online to furnish the back porch of the home that should be complete when we return. I wanted to sit in the furniture before I ordered anything. No one offered to help. Granted, they were busy. We wandered around a while. I finally asked a lady about the set I was interested in who was behind the counter. I asked could I get some help with a set I was interested in. She said "what do you want to know?" I said "well what other pieces of this line are on the floor?" She said "If you are interested I can write the website down?" I told her I found it online and that I wanted to sit in the pieces and make an order. I stepped away from the counter. I waited for another ten minutes while she talked to another girl who was behind the counter. We were there about 30 minutes and no one was able to even tell us, "we will be with you in a few minutes".
