The staff is like family and makes the residents feel like family and friends. The administrators Nickie Perez and Louise Avendano (my momma) run a top place where I will occasionally volunteer around the facility doing activities such as pet therapy with a fluffy white rabbit as well with the Ventura County Humane Society. Another thing is that facility has a ton of military veterans, since they hold a special space in the heart because my momma and Nickie are also military veterans.

So I called them and was only able to leave a message. I sent them an email and asked about the interview. I got no response from either. About a week later, they sent me an email that they had hired someone else. I don't mind that they hired someone else. My issue is that it's very rude and unprofessional to just stand someone up on a phone call interview. I set aside time, and I do research and prepare myself when I have an interview. This shows that this company has no regard for an individual's time. It is indicative of how this company would behave in any situation. I would never entrust a person into their care, knowing this is how they behave. Public relations manifest in many different ways.

She was very friendly and personable, asked me questions about my father's needs, budget, and area of interest. Melinda understood what to do to help, and assigned Barbara Colella. Barbara was amazing, and thought of everything we would need to do to line up care with our mother.
