The staff is like family and makes the residents feel like family and friends. The administrators Nickie Perez and Louise Avendano (my momma) run a top place where I will occasionally volunteer around the facility doing activities such as pet therapy with a fluffy white rabbit as well with the Ventura County Humane Society. Another thing is that facility has a ton of military veterans, since they hold a special space in the heart because my momma and Nickie are also military veterans.

The single story residense is easy to navigate, and the community room has a piano that my mom plays almost daily. I worked with Jan, who covers the Ventura area, and she was an absolute pleasure to work for. She was very friendly and personable, asked me questions about my father's needs, budget, and area of interest. She then prepared a list of 5 different facilities, set up tours, and toured the with me to ensure all of my questions were answered. She also had a wealth of knowledge about each facility, and helped me decide the best fit for my father. After moving him in, she also checked in regularly to see how the move was going, which was a very nice personal touch. I would highly recommend this service for anybody who needs to help a family member move to assisted living. It made the whole process easier and more manageable.
