Dr. Kime was the first dentist who took my jaw pain seriously. Previous dentists said there was nothing that could be done about my persistent jaw pain, but Dr. Kime explained that wearing a night guard would help (and it did). I had previously developed a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist because I knew that keeping my mouth open for so long would cause my jaw to become tense and, at times, lock up. However, Dr. Kime listened to me, believed me, and always made sure I was comfortable. I also got an amazing teeth whitening at Dr. Kime's. I had told him and his staff that I was getting married and the whitening really helped boost my confidence on my wedding day. In fact, years later, I still feel so much confidence from having whiter teeth. The process was easy, comfortable, and stress free. Dr. Kime and his staff were all so generous and kind during my time as a patient there. I will always compare my dentists to Dr. Kime and I will not settle for substandard dentistry again because I know that amazing dentists are out there. One of his front office staff needs to check her behavior at the door to be more kind and patient. The other staff and assistants were all excellent. The reason I know Dr. Martey is excellent, is that I have gone to bad oral surgeons in the past that infected people and where pulling a tooth took weeks to heal instead of days. Santa Rosa was always good, and an Oral Surgeon in Redding is excellent, but Rog or Bog that were here years ago in Eureka were both rude, abusive, and corrupt. Thank goodness past Oral Surgeon is dead or at least gone from Humboldt County. The horrible surgeon was Rog or Bog. One was a horrible Dermatology Surgeon who mis diagnosed me and would have killed me had not Dr. Russel Pardoe saved the day. The other was a horrible Dental Surgeon. One died and the other left town, thank goodness. Hopefully, I will not need dental surgery again for a long time. However, if I do in the future I will go to Dr. Martey here locally. My teeth brake when pulled by a regular dentist, and then they need to send me to an Oral Surgeon to put me to sleep and dig the tooth fragments out. This is why I need an excellent Oral Surgeon to avoid having my roots exposed while waiting for an appointment with a proper oral surgeon to dig the tooth fragments out while asleep. My suggestion is to get Dental Insurance or have an account to save money monthly in order to have enough for to pay cash for dental emergencies not covered by Medicare.
