I switched dentists from Dr Barsanti to Dr Taylor about a year ago and I couldn't be happier. Dr Taylor is thorough and a great dentist. He listens and gives clear and helpful tips on how to maintain oral health. Kay is an outstanding dental hygienist. She takes time to really clean my teeth, better than any cleaning I've had in over 10 years. Since she's been my hygienist my gum/periodontal health has improved. Between Kay & Dr Taylor, I'm in good hands! And then there is Lori, their dental insurance guru. She is extremely skilled in dealing with insurance companies and is so patient and understanding of challenges with insurance billing. I've had a great experience at this business and I highly recommend Dr Taylor to anyone who wants to maintain a high standard of oral health. Alberto Taylor fixed all issues with my teeth. He did me correct. He is a good man and a better dentist.

I was a patient of Dr Taylor's for over 4 years with no great complaints. I am no longer using his services. I avoided seeing the dentist for two years because of COVID and I felt that he was pushing too much unnecessary work on me to make up for his financial losses. He claimed my mercury fillings needed to be replaced with new ones, which was never mentioned before. I read about how dangerous it is to mess with mercury fillings and wanted to discuss it further. Lori refused to give him the message unless I made a consultation appointment with him. I was never given the opportunity to talk to him when he first mentioned idea because my teeth were being cleaned. I finally made an appointment with him and mentioned how rude Lori was about saying she would not give him a message. Apparently she wrote a whole page in my chart about how difficult I was and she was a victim of my rudeness. Doctor Taylor was not willing to hear my concerns about not wanting unnecessary work done on fillings that were perfectly fine and told me if I didn't want the work than I should leave because this is not working out. It felt like my dentist was breaking up with me. His office is drama and he has bad judgment. My new dentist examined my fillings and said there is absolutely no reason to touch them. Truly the best dentist I have EVER been to. Dr. Taylor always makes me laughing and I love that I always have the same Dental Assistant because she too is adorable. Lori at the front desk is so kind (and understanding as I have rescheduled my cleaning 3 times). Ask the community This was literally the best dental experience I've ever had. I am a college student who didn't (up untill now) have a primary dentist in the area. He and his staff were professional, kind, and knew what they were doing. Also the environment was spotless I chipped my tooth and was terrified of finding a new dentist along with the cost to fix. I called multiple dentist in the area who either were not accepting new patients, were not flexible with my insurance, or could not take care of my tooth in one appointment with me being new. His staff reassured me and put me at ease. I can not emphasize how real my tooth looks and how wonderful of an experience I had. read more

Skip seeing this DDS if you are at all expecting a high level of skill on both the Staff and Dentist part. He was recommended by another less than stellar Dentist who had completed a Root Canal. Fortunately, Dr Taylor's office was taking new patients when I had to flee my last dentist because he re cemented a crown in a tooth "with just a little decay in it." Don't we all know this doesn't work? It got very infected and, fortunately, I was able to get in with Dr Taylor who had to extract the molar! Since then, I have gone to Dr Taylor for x-rays and he has found a problem with another crown that my previous dentist missed. I would say that Dr Taylor is a no nonsense dentist who is extremely thorough. 5 stars so far!. And, the staff is delightful. read more

I had fillings retouched up and Alberto smoothed them out which I had never experienced before. The fillings have always felt rough and plaque would easily build up on them which is no longer the case after a visit to Alberto's office. Quality work, friendly service and they work with you. Also if you pay with cash or check you get a discount. Very happy with their service. read more

Dr. Taylor is an excellent dentist and the service his office offers is top notch. I have been coming in to his office for over 10 years. Dr. Taylor keeps up with the latest in dentistry and is a leader in the field. I like that he has the one day crown CERAC machine and he's had this technology for years. His office calls to see how you are doing after treatments. Kayla and the other staff are very attentive and caring. I highly recommend. read more

I have had appointments cancelled on four occasions during the past two years I have had Taylor Alberti as a dentist. Two of those occasions they didn't even bother to call me and let me know they were cancelling - it was not until I had cleared my day and shown up at the office that I found they were not going to honor my appointment. I have found them extremely hard to work with. The receptionist is nice enough but doesn't call back. Do NOT recommend unless you want to waste your time. read more

Dr. Taylor is a great doctor. I would have given him five stars, but unfortunately he has a receptionist that is quite lazy. I've asked him several times for information and he doesn't thoroughly investigate what I've asked. It is obvious that he did not contact my insurance company to get the information. Many times he has not even returned my calls. Each time he apologizes for not returning my calls. One or two calls could be acceptable, but this happens so often. It makes it difficult to work with Dr. Taylor to decide on what procedures to proceed with when I don't have any idea of cost. I contacted other dental offices and asked if they could tell me what my cost would be and they were not only willing, but gave me the information based on my insurance and social security number. They also advised me that it would depend also on the Doctors exam. read more

Be sure you brush and floss after every meal or Dr. Taylor will tell you how you don't prioritize your health and heaven forbid you cannot afford to have cleanings more than your insurance pays for because he will belittle you for that too. I do not go to the dentist to be harassed and to leave in tears because he is so rude. The hygienist was awesome and the front desk gentleman is also kind. After calling several dentists office throughout Humboldt, and after many disappointing conversations I called Dr Taylor's office and spoke with Nick, who was like a breath of fresh air. extremely pleasant. informative. helpful and engaging. i explained that I was Social Security only, and financionaly limited, but had some insurance coverage. I was expecting to hear another rejection, instead Nick explained their policy, and then offered to send in for a pre authorization from my insurance company and would notify me when they responded. Nick got me the authorization in a very timely manor and had my exam yesterday. I am very happy to say that the rest of the staff that I met, specifically Kayla were also pleasant helpful, patient and very accommodating. Dr. Taylor completed my very satisfactory experience. Dr Alberto Taylor is an excellent dentist with a fantastic staff! Dr Taylor is passionate about dental and personal health, and I know I'm in good hands under his care. I was grinding my teeth in my sleep and even while studying, I couldn't concentrate or sleep well until he made me a custom night guard, worth every penny even as a broke college student. I have been using it consistently for a few years now, and I can't imagine if I had kept trying to use over the counter mouth guard products that never worked or fit my mouth. He also put in a crown for me that was actually fun! He 3D prints beautiful crowns in his office, and it can be installed in one visit instead of two. All of the work and cleanings has been painless, comfortable and top-notch. Dr Taylor's attention to detail and quality is priceless, I highly recommend him and his staff. read more

After an awful, unsuccessful experience taking my daughter to another clinic, we took her to see Dr. Taylor. He was very gentle and able to give my daughter the care she needed. Dr. Taylor and his staff are very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to give my daughter a positive and wonderful dental experience.
