They're not in the business of selling procedures or maximizing the number of services you receive. Their focus is on keeping you healthy, identifying problems early, and helping connect you with the right specialists when needed. In a healthcare system where financial incentives can too often influence care, it is incredibly reassuring to feel that the people advising you are looking first at your health and not their bottom line. I requested that the number please please be kept off my appointment notes and paperwork. It was front and center under my name. It took me MONTHS to be able to eat normally again and I had panic attacks for a week from the violation of my consent. I just had a really bad fall and hurt my knee but I can't bring myself to come in to have it looked at because I feel so violated and unsafe from my treatment here. Patients have the right to decline being weighed, but this practice has surprise attack exam tables that weigh you without your consent.

She had a video visit with Dr. Narvaez, who, heard her symptoms, & when the nursing staff failed to answer sis's call button, told her to call 911. Thank goodness!!! 3 days in ICU and now, much improved... Expect her to have a recovery, albeit, extended now, BUT, this weekend I'm soooo grateful she pulled thru!!! She answered a lot of my questions, and if she did not know about a hormone question I had, I was graciously referred to a specialist. I really liked her honesty, patience, personality, and sense of humor made me feel really comfortable for my first visit. I'm glad I made the switch to Linda for PCP, because my previous doctor assumed I was young and healthy, and would fast track our annual visits, but I would also rely on the data rather than a simple number (my age) to justify my health. I will say some of these comments on Yelp talk about the front desk, but my experience was more of the check out desk, who seemed unnecessarily grumpy that morning. There was a prescription that wasn't send to a pharmacy, and I tried to ask the front desk about it, but she snapped at me and said to ask the pharmacy (with attitude). Next time I could do better and stand on my ground more firmly, but as this review is for Linda Narvaez and not for the front desk/ check out person, I am personally rating Linda as 5 stars.

Dr. Shafipour is absolutely amazing. He is extremely easy to connect with when you are having a problem and is the kind of doctor you can only dream of having. I have not felt well for many years and it has never been diagnosed so I am constantly bugging him for suggestions as to whom to see next. He is extremely patient with me and does his utmost to find answers. He once said he likes to treat his patients as he would like to be treated. Well he would certainly be treated well.
