I know the secret with flowers is to get them from the flower district in DTLA. So, I started looking for a florist online and stumbled upon this place. Looked into Yelp reviews and found a review that pictured this exact wreath. Yes, I stole the design lol. This wreath wasn't pictured on the florist's website . I contacted the number on the florist's website and spoke to the owner. Showed him what I wanted and got a price quote. Explained all the details because yes, I am very particular (I.e., ribbon had to be printed not hand written). I did my entire transaction via phone and Zelled payment. The day of delivery I texted the owner to make sure everything was set and I didn't get a response so after two hours I called him and I was assured everything was set. Note: call, don't text these people. Upon arrival at the funeral home I was texted a picture of the wreath. As you can see, it's beautiful and doesn't look cheap. Kudos for getting this taken care of and not jacking up the price during Valentine's Day weekend. The ribbon looks professional. It arrived on time and held up perfectly from the day of the wake to the day of the funeral. My only complaint is that they omitted one "r" from my last name, but most people don't spell it properly, and when you're grieving, you don't notice things like that so I'm giving them a pass for that (I redacted my name on the wreath for privacy). If you're wondering, I had texted the owner with a very long message of all the details, including the correct spelling of my name. Típs: The cost of the wreath is separate from delivery ($35 to Rose Hills in Whittier) and the printing of a ribbon ($15 - free if you'll accept hand written, which I highly discourage you to do). Highly recommend this florist for your needs, especially if you want to save yourself some cash. The cost of this wreath on popular sites is easily twice what I paid. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't cheap but it was cheaper than contacting the well known florists. read more

If I could give half a one star I would , My father unfortunately passed away 11/15/21 , we were looking into getting nice flower arrangements for his viewing and funeral services. We ran into Gabby's Flowers on Yelp and obviously were fooled by the pictures and reviews. We arrived on Dec 1st to Gabby's Flowers to order an arrangement of lovely wings with blue flowers we saw on there page " they had made " when we arrived we showed them the pic and the First Lady we showed the picture too seemed a bit confused, however they started to pass my phone around the other workers seemed very confident therefore we stopped doubting them. When we asked for the price a guy shouted $300.00 and when I told my sister I'm walking out because we had seen something similar down the streets for 175.00 ( the money isn't an issue but $300.00 ? ) they heard me and said $150.00 , we agreed left a deposit excited to see the beautiful flower arrangement for my dad viewing. On 12/15/21 the day off my dads viewing my sister showed up to " pick up " the arrangement they said they never received order , Denying all of this with an invoice in my sisters hand!!!!!!! we wanted to gift my dad these flowers on the day of his coming home ( the viewing was at his house ) . Freaking unbelievable, they will never understand how horrible this made us feel , they took a family's money and promise something and not have it , it was my dads gift !!!!!!!!!!!!!! You people have no remorse ,they could have at least given a comp flower bouquet for even forgetting to build out flowers but nope they were arguing and fighting to give us our deposit back . The reason we went to this location is because my aunt recommended this place. I was very disappointed with the arrangements I ordered. The ribbon I had paid for was never ordered to be printed. I ordered a puppy to be made, it looked like I had ordered a chicken. Nothing like the picture I had showed them or even close to the ones they had made before . I was very disappointed in the service. I wanted nothing but the best for my Grandmothers Funeral Service, I did not get that from this business. I had also asked the delivery person to go ahead and place the heart crown inside the church, they left it outside. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Lou and his team are fabulous! My grandfather passed away a couple weeks ago and I was in charge of getting flowers for the funeral service. We spent a couple hours talking to several vendors and ended up going with Gaby's Flowers. Lou pulled me to the side and basically told me there are several vendors out there that will promise you something and they won't deliver what they promise. I felt like he was very genuine and that he truly did not want me to be disappointed. He took me inside his shop, we talked, and he showed me samples of work they had previously done. There was also a gentleman inside putting together a gorgeous bouquet, he was quite the floral artist. I liked both of those things because the rest of the flower shops were showing me photos from some random website and not their actual work. While I was at his shop I ended up ordering the large casket floral spray in white with roses, lilies, and gladiolas. After I got home I showed my Auntie what I had ordered and she wanted to order a standing floral spray as well so I called Lou and he texted me some examples. My Auntie picked what she wanted out and I placed the order over the phone with Lou. Fortunately, I had a friend who was willing to help me out with picking up and delivering the flowers to the mortuary so I did not work with Lou and his delivery service, but I am sure that is top-notch as well. His price for delivery to Orange County was going to be $70 for approximately 40 miles. Most other shops I talked to while I was there charge $3 a mile for delivery when it's out of their local area. This is Lou's business so he genuinely cares about delivering quality. He is honest, super accommodating, and definitely delivers a quality product/service. This shop made coming to the flower district easier to pick up flowers. Chris helped me out and he took venmo for the deposit. Communicated via text with some ideas and ordered 2 large funeral ( heart and circle) wreaths a couple of days prior for pick up. The wreaths were beautiful and extremely affordable. Everyone was wearing masks and mindful of the parking situation/ they'll help you to your car.
