Have taken phones there many times to replace the screens, which overall wasn't a bad experience. Not the friendliest people, but I can look past that. Took my laptop in after calling to see if they could repair it, they said yes, not a problem. It needed a new hard drive, they quoted me a fair price, and I left thinking it would be an easy repair. After over a week, I finally got it back with no new hard drive and SEVERAL screws missing from my computer, of which I didn't notice until I got home and inspected it under lighting. Apparently they couldn't fix it and didn't know what was wrong with it. I then left confused, as I was told this was a simple repair. I'm 99% sure they didn't want to take the time to repair it and probably under-quoted me. I proceeded to take my laptop to "The Place" in Bowling Green under the care of friendly, knowledgeable staff. I had it back within a few days with a new hard drive, and after telling my story to employees at "The Place," they couldn't understand why Gadget Patchers couldn't fix a simple hard drive installation - he literally just bought an updated new hard drive and plugged it in. Due to this poor and unfriendly service (other than the tall dark-headed guy with glasses who was super nice and informational and who should probably work in a better environment), I don't think I will be returning. read more

This place is just a rip off. I took a Iphone 11 in to be repair. They said it was a simple battery replacement would take a hour or so. I went back 3 hours later to pick it up was told that my main board was bad and they offer to buy the phone for parts and sell me another one out of there case of used phones. I refuse to sell it. So took it to another guy in glasgow that work out of his house a friend told me about. He took the phone apart in front of me none of the cables was plug in the board. so he went ahead plug everything back in and replace the battery and my phone works like a new one.. They was trying to rip me off by buying my phone cheap selling me one there used iphone then fix my old one and sell it. read more

I think maybe people blame the service and its actually their cheap phone. The hills of Kentucky are a problem if you do not have an IPhone. We switched phones and it was like night and day. No more dropped calls. And I do not mean to be a advocate for Apple but their products have not presented me with near the problems. Only issue we had was an over charge on our bill from Verizon. I called and they insisted it was correct and seemed not willing to investigate it further with me. That cost them a star here. However, the next bill showed a correction for the overcharge. So there is that. I am cool with Verizon.

She continued to wow me with her unprofessionalism when she explained that the store does not make any money on prepaid plans so they do not provide training. Boy did I sure feel like a valued customer when I was asked to read details off the phone I was looking at. She took a call and I laughed at her unprofessionalism and she standoffishly asked if it was funny. At that point I told her she was rude and that we were done. She demanded to know how she was rude and I told her it wasn't worth my time. This however is worth my time in hopes management will try to teach her some professionalism and customer service.

The Olde General Store

This store was everything and nothing like I expected. They seemed to have odd hours. With odds and ends tucked in every corner, and rooms that look like you shouldn't go in but can and are filled with antiques of all different varieties. There didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the chaos that is The Olde General Store. It was neat to look around though and see all the offerings. I was in town for a real estate closing and shattered the screen of my iPhone in the hotel. Hotel manager referenced them apparently they do both phone repairs as well as computer upgrades. I didn't have an appointment on a Monday morning and the technician already had a customer in front of me. The owner Seth personally helped me once I explained I had a real estate closing to rush to. 27 minutes has gotta be a record and I was able to make the closing on time. It's common to meet a customers' expectation but rare to exceed it. Highly recommend Gadget Patchers thanks again Seth! read more
