Breakfast is always cooked perfectly. Great staff. Home style cooking at its best. A place to go for breakfast with the family.

Entry is a single door with a ramp on the inside. Servers were quick to seat my friend and I. Service was polite and timely. We both ordered our own "Teenage Feast" which included Two eggs prepared to your taste, thick cut bacon, sausage, choice of toast, served with dutch mini pancakes, butter parsley home fries / salad or half & half. I opted for scrambled eggs, home fries, and rye (they also had sourdough as an option!) The meal was very filling, could definitely be shared between two peckish people or saved as left overs for later. Meal has a blend of sweet and savoury, leaning more on the sweet side. The sausage is sweeter than others (I enjoy this but I know it's not for everyone. The Dutch pancakes are so cute and little, coated in icing sugar, and served with maple syrup on the side to dip. For drinks I ordered the Maple Foam Cold Brew. Make sure to stir/not put your straw at the bottom of the drink or you'll get a hit of maple! Once it's stirred it tastes great. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu (I'm eyeing the coffee flights)!

Nonetheless, they do have a few sandwich options and are open at lunchtime as well. I went back to back days. Day one was the smash burger and I got 50/50 with salad and curly fries which is a nice option. The next day I did the Nashville fried chicken sandwich with the same sides. Everything was very fresh and tasted very good. Both sandwiches perhaps were missing a bit of an X factor that would have me telling people it's an absolute must visit. For example, the smashburger probably could've been a bit more savoury (even greasier) to be a true smashburger, and the Nashville chicken spice level was pretty mild. All that said, it was made fresh and very tasty too, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone either. And like I said, I didn't even try the breakfast items which is the main part of the restaurant anyway.

Favorites include the arugula chick pea and black bean salad with jalenepeno pesto, any of their baked goods and sweets as well as their pizza. I LOVE that their pasta dishes feature Artie's handmade pasta (the best!) - but honestly was a little chewy recently with the pasta dish I got - could have gone for another minute. The standout for us was the desert - holy cow!! The Really Really Fudgey Brownie was UNREAL!! Sooo good. Service is friendly and helpful; you can tell the employees like their jobs, which helps the food taste even better. Their somewhat recent makeover and rebrand gives the restraunt a slightly more upscale feel which I'm not mad about. I love that you can dine outdoors as well, and bring your dog if you wish.

I sent it back for another one that came out raw as well, we had the second one put back in the oven and took it to go. I should have looked more closely at it before leaving, because when I was home I found the crust was still raw and inedible. It was the first and only time I have ever had to send food back at a restaurant. Our server relayed a message from the kitchen suggesting we request our pizza "well done" in future.

The opportunity to buy buttons which in turn buys homeless a meal; hard to not like that notion. The eating experience honestly can be a unique one; a woman was barking for her order, a gentleman was sleeping with his bicycle tire a few tables over. To say it's a DIVERSE crowd is probably an understatement. The fact this isn't more common is also an understatement; you don't see this too often; respect to the owners, you are doing a very good thing... In this day and time of a lot of bad news and stress; nice to see something positive occurring.

You'll leave well-fed and feeling good about our community. I don't like leaving only a four star review, but in the interest of transparency, our orders were mistakenly filled a couple of times. It didn't bother us a bit, but I suppose it could bother some on here.
