I had a consult with Sharon on January 6, 2022. She discussed the treatment plan with me and then…read moreproceeded to place my braces on February 22, 2022. She initially told me that my treatment would be 18 months; however, I had my braces on for over four years. Throughout the duration of my prolonged treatment, she would assure me that my braces would be coming off within a certain timeframe; however, once that timeframe arrived, she would come up with egregious excuses as to why my treatment needed to be extended, ultimately, failing to meet the timeframe in which she discussed with me both confidently and with certainty. There were several times during appointments that I expressed to Sharon that my teeth didn't seem to be shifting and spaces weren't closing even after my braces had been tightened. After raising these concerns to her, she remained faithful in giving excuses as to why her work wasn't producing the expected results -- always lacking accountability, deflecting, and even being dismissive of my concerns. Nearly four years into my treatment, I mentioned to Sharon that I would be relocating in the near future and yet again, she assured me that my braces would be off by that time. As you can guess, the time came and my braces were not off, and she remained faithful in giving yet another ridiculous excuse as to why my treatment wasn't complete. She even went as far as pretending that she didn't remember me telling her that I would be relocating. The Oscar truly belongs to Sharon Stewart with a standing ovation, might I add. Upon the day of the scheduled removal of my braces, I mentioned to her that there were still spaces that hadn't completely closed. Sharon examined my mouth and found it appropriate to then tell me that she couldn't close those spaces any further due to the anatomy of my teeth, and that my treatment was complete. She went on to tell me that I'd have to refer to my dentist to fill in the remaining spaces. During my initial consult, examination and prepared treatment plan on January 6, 2022, Sharon failed to inform me of two of my teeth being classified as "peg laterals", or include them on her diagnostic findings, which affects my overall desired outcome and results of my treatment. That negligence is egregious, unprofessional and absolutely inexcusable. And as a cherry on top, upon asking Sharon why my treatment was prolonged and why wasn't the anatomy of my teeth discussed with me at the time of my initial consultation, she failed to provide me with an answer, deflected at every turn and attempted to have her staff cover and excuse her negligence, as well as her unprofessionalism. After all, that is not the behavior of a professional doctor. I would strongly advise anyone against seeing this "doctor". Sharon failed to provide the treatment results promised, and I ultimately had to seek care from another orthodontist to complete my treatment. My new and PROFESSIONAL (might I add) orthodontist identified the issue that I was told should have been recognized and addressed from the beginning. Based on my experience, I believe Sharon was negligent, and I would not recommend her to anyone -- unless you don't mind her taking your money, playing in your mouth and having to pay twice for treatment to be done right and complete. Sharon is unprofessional in every aspect. I URGE you to go elsewhere immediately. Run, don't walk, don't skip, and definitely don't hesitate or look back -- RUN!!!

In her policy it clearly stated that I am permitted to park anywhere in the lot with the exception of Drs parking spot(s) which is located next to the door on the east side of the building. So I had been parking in the space directly behind her. I'm always the first person at the office so I didn't think I was a big deal. There no sign stating that I couldn't park there but every time I parked there she would tell me we needed to make space. So Monday after she asked me to move my truck. I asked Dr. Stewart. "May I ask why I can't park there?" She got an attitude with me and said why do you have to have that spot? I said I'm the first on here every morning and it's in the shade. I'd prefer to park in the space further over but I'm not parking my truck on all that debris. Her office manager comes in asks to speak to me. She ask me what's wrong. The minute I said I feel like I'm being lied to. She told me to leave cuz she ain't got to lie to no body. But she did lie to me and so did doctor Stewart. Before she put me out the office manager said, "it was her spot now what?!" Which was crazy because what was all of that for and why not just say that from the beginning instead of doctor Stewart lying saying I had to make room for the trash man and then the office manager telling me doctor Stewart can't get out of her spot because my truck was too big. That shit didn't sound right at all. Cuz the moment she said I had to make room for the garbage man to come the office manager parked in the spot I was going to park in. When asked why I couldn't park in the spot she could have said that spot is reserved for my office manager but she chose to make it an argument when I was only asking for clarification. The office manager could have just said it was her spot in the first place instead of making up lies like I was supposed to go for that bullshit! She even called the police on me like I was the one causing a ruckus. That's what hurt me the most! I came out of hibernation to help doctor Stewart because a mutual friend of ours said she needed help and I told her to go ahead and give doctor Stewart my number. So , based off my experience. I wouldn't recommend working for Doctor Sharon Stewart at all! She doesn't take accountability when she messes up. Everything is everyone else's fault and never her own. My first day back she messed up and wrote the wrong name on a lab case and never admitted to her assistant that she did it. We had to deliver upper and lower Essex she couldn't find it but that because she put the wrong name on it when she went o label it. A common mistake yet one she'll never admit to. I don't find her to be very professional based off the fact that she just fired me be she didn't like the fact that I asked why I couldn't park in a spot! She's talks to you like you're a child and expects you to just deal with it! No baby I'm grown just like you! You can't talk to me any kind of way. What really killed me was the office manager telling me I don't talk to the doctor like that? Like what? I all I did was ask a question. They're the ones who got loud with me because they didn't like the fact that I asked that question! I wasn't supposed to asked nothing. I was just supposed to do what she said. Well, Dominique needed clarification so Dominique asked the question she needed to ask. Which got Dominique fired! These women are very petty! Please prepare yourself! I was then rescheduled for October 7. I waited 30 minutes before being called back. When I was called back, I waited another 30 minutes before the dentist came into the room. When she came into the room, she initially seemed willing to tighten the implant. However, after leaving the room and staying gone for another 15 minutes, she came back and indicated that she did not want to do the tightening procedure. I can't say enough good about Dr. Dana and her staff. When I finally worked up the courage to go, they took the time to talk to me on the phone, and invited me in just to meet Dr. Dana and the team. They have been so amazing. I never felt judged or shamed for the condition of my teeth, and they have been nothing but kind and sensitive. The work they've done has been great, they've made sure I haven't been in any pain, and everyone in the office has been incredibly nice to deal with.
