I've been a loyal customer of Bella's Piercing since 2022. My partner and I first brought our…read morenewborn daughter here to get her ears pierced, and we were very impressed with the clean, professional, and welcoming environment. Since then, I've returned for my own piercings, including my navel and both nipples, and have recommended Bella's to friends. Recently, I discovered that my left nipple piercing was placed incorrectly. While my right side healed perfectly, the left has become uncomfortable causing soreness during normal activities like sleeping and wearing bras. Upon closer inspection, I noticed it sits too high through the middle of the nipple instead of at the base, which explains the discomfort. At the time of the piercing, a trainee was performing the work under the supervision of someone I believe was the owner or senior piercer, so this placement issue should have been caught and corrected immediately. I trusted the staff's expertise, and this oversight has created ongoing discomfort. I'm reaching out in hopes that management will contact me to discuss correcting the placement, ideally by re-piercing the left nipple at the base. I want to continue supporting and recommending Bella's, but it's important that this mistake is addressed professionally. Bella's has a history of excellent service, and I hope this situation can be resolved promptly and fairly.

As parents my wife and I strive to teach our kids the skills they need to be great adults, including allowing them to make their own decisions. She had saved the money and wanted to go here. So that's what we did; my wife and I and our daughters went to Bella Piercing. From the moment we arrived, I had a bad feeling. For both business and pleasure, I've traveled and shopped all across the US, from the best stores and shops in Chicago to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. On Rodeo Drive, you walk into a store and some employees give off that, "We are so completely awesome you are lucky to be here" vibe. On Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, it's kind of expected and part of the fun. Not so much from a "wannabe" boutique on a side street in Gahanna, Ohio. The only other customer left the store so it was just us and the employees. Of course, the staff spent several minutes pretending to be too busy to come help us right away. So we sat down and let my daughter stand at the counter to wait to pick out her earrings. The piercing was completed but not before I was shocked that it was close to $200. My daughter explained that the sales person advised her to get the better, more expensive earrings because they would last longer. We were home only a couple of hours and one of the earring posts snapped. My daughter was just sitting in her bed when it happened. Of course, it was after store hours so we had to wait to go back. The next day we drove back to Gahanna and my daughter explained the situation. We were met with the most condescending, pretentious accent, telling my daughter that they had a no refund policy. I then explained that they had sold my daughter more expensive earrings than she came for because they were better and would last longer. Those "better, longer lasing" earrings broke after 2+ hours and they needed to replace it. This wasn't a return of earrings that were bought months ago. We had just bought them. After some back and forth, they reluctantly replaced them. I know that if a parent had not been there, they would have pushed my teenage daughter into spending another $150 to buy new earrings. Parents, don't take your children here.

He also made me feel so comfortable during the whole process, asking if I was doing okay and if I needed a break. We ended up adding a pop of color in the eyes of the cat and he was fantastic! We discovered the typical mall places cannot pierce cartilage so Bodystain was highly recommended. The shop was clean, staff was extremely friendly, professional, and answered all our questions regarding piercings and tattoos. My daughter said it was a pain free process that was fairly fast. The artist was friendly and made her feel quite comfortable. She was also given literature on aftercare instructions. I'm unfamiliar with the tattoos but I'd recommend Bodystain for piercings. If you're a parent or guardian of a minor, save yourself a trip and bring proper identification and a birth certificate of your child. They strictly follow the health code requirements which is a good thing. They also explain some of the risks of piercings. I'm thinking I'll be returning for myself, to get my first ever tattoo. I'm thinking a teeny weeny fork/knife chef tat, in some private area, because I'm cool like that. LOL

What…read morethey don't tell you (which is not great service!) is that when they show you the earrings and it says $80 (which is ridiculous for a set of earrings) it's only for ONE earring. I was not told this, this wasn't anywhere obvious. Everything is per ear... this should be very very clear!! It should not cost $220 (I have a receipt to prove it) for a 5 minute ear piecing that is really no better than elsewhere. We paid $80 total for ear piercing at a place in gahanna with nice titanium earrings. And I got a very weak rushed "sorry". But I didn't press it and just left. Still tipped...
