This Time Saver has that old-world charm: tight aisles, shoplifting mirrors doubling as moulding, and ample stock of Vienna sausages and the like. This has a strong feel of neighborhood, evidenced in the conversations during my morning stop-ins. Whether it's the owner stopping in and pressing palms with customers and employees, or whether it's the congenial lady serving up some of the best gizzards in town, or whether it's the generally sunny disposition that takes one over as they exit this place - there's a certain elusive quality to this market that must be experienced. If you've read some of my other convenience / gas station write-ups, you know I don't wax on like this habitually... This is conveniently accessible through the car wash on Old Bainbridge or eastbound on Tharpe.
