very disappointed With this jewelry store. Me and my boyfriend went to go pick out my ring, i chose my stone and chose my base took two days and hours to make it my ring. I was told they were going to custom order the mount to fit the the stone and I had other things I wanted to add to the ring it was going to take 4-6 weeks to come in. my boyfriend gets the ring and tell me it looks different ,it's a whole other ring! not the one i chose . I went to the store Josh is a super great guy made me feel like i wasn't crazy but Renae said in front of me "i told you not to show or tell her" . after talking she made me feel like the ring i chose was stupid. said the base is to small diamonds are going to knock out everyone comes in for that issue it wasn't worth it and the ring they ordered is bigger and better but if i wanted they can order the ring i want but it would take 4-6 weeks again. only reason i didn't go with that is because i dont have 4-6 weeks to wait he had a plan and time frame a very tight one. if she offered a rush on the order i would have said yes let's get my dream ring but no this screwed this exciting step for us up. There was no apologies just a simple this ring is bigger and better and he shouldn't have showed me in the first place. I want the ring I chose but i feel like if we were to order it it still wouldn't be what I imagined and hoped for. I thought they specialized in custom rings and had a in house jeweler but the ring i got wasn't my custom one just one order off of Gabriel. They completely lost my trust , there was no paper or records on the ring so we decided we had to get it appraised to make sure one thing was right. Unfortunately we won't be coming back for our wedding bands. Josh was a great jeweler and helped me imagine and customize my dream ring . Needless to say were stuck with the ring that was just ordered online still great and beautiful just not my dream one i imagined. read more

Zero stars if possible. My boyfriend went in to choose an engagement ring, they gave him no advice and he spent three hours in there before choosing a ring he wasn't happy with. A week later he wanted a refund, and of course they refused to give him one. I even had a ring from my grandmother that I would have preferred. He had a month to switch it for a different ring. Ruining the surprise he showed me the ring and I told him things I might change about it, then he went in to change it (low setting, single diamond on a gold band). What they gave us was unacceptable.. and when I drove over an hour myself to get it set lower, they charged us $250 and Obviously the final result wasn't much better. It's sad, embarrassing, and absolutely ruined the whole experience for both of us. DO not go here and I pray they go out of business. read more

I needed to have my rings rhodium dipped/plated and resized. I priced these services at several places including the major jewelry store chains. Gainesville Jewelry had the best prices and since they are local, I wanted to try them. My rings were ready to be picked up within a week of dropping them off which was surprising because other stores said they had to send my rings off and I would have a 2-3 week wait. My rings are absolutely beautiful. Gainesville Jewelry cleaned, dipped, and sized them. I have had many random compliments on my rings since then. I had a loose diamond that I wanted to find a setting for. The sales woman that helped me and my fiancé was very nice and helpful. However, when I picked up the ring the prongs on the setting were placed very uneven and it does not look nice. I came back to speak with the jeweler about it and he pretty much told me that I was looking at the "lines" of the ring too much and he wasn't going to fix it. I wish I would have gone somewhere else to have my diamond placed. My expectations were not met and I was very disappointed with the end product as well as the poor customer service on the jeweler's part. read more

The worse customer service at any jewelry store I have ever been to. My husband bought my engagement ring at Gainesville Jewelry (2 carats) have not had any issues with it. He also bought my band there and I have been back three times with it because a diamond kept falling out. My husband spoke to the lady that had helped him with the engagement ring and she advised after the second time that if it happened again they would order a brand new ring and the reason a diamond was coming out was because it had been resized. I go back for the third time and they are trying to say the ring had been knocked and a new one would not be ordered and we were going to have to pay to get the diamond replaced (I have a desk job and as soon as I get home I take all my jewelry off so no shower, gym etc with it on) Not only were they rude but didn't keep their word. Do NOT trust them with your jewelry needs. At the end of the day it's a bunch of Bullshit. To say I'm pissed is an understatement. read more
