Rather than addressing the core misconduct and ethical concerns I raised, it shifts focus to praising Ben Rubinowitz's "professionalism" which were actions that only occurred after mishandling me, seemingly to redeem himself and protect his and the firm's reputation following my initial public Google review (which I later deleted as a courtesy, not in exchange for representation). Take note: They don't respond to negative reviews like this, if at all. Apparently, I triggered something they couldn't ignore. What upset me: 1. Lack of expectation management 2. Lack of transparency and evidence review 3. Lack of ethics and trauma-informed care in communication What didn't upset me: 1. Lack of representation Tiffany Deas has no firsthand knowledge of Ben Rubinowitz's initial unethical disengagement, a dismissal that mirrors the very stonewalling he claims to fight against in his case against AG Urgent Care and Cecil Dollison, the same actors whose misconduct continues to harm others, myself included. It's no coincidence Tiffany, a Black woman, is discrediting another Black woman on his behalf. Sick work. It's clear that she was used post-mishandling to extend and shape Ben's narrative, one that had already been in motion since my first Google review call out. Her loyalty to her employer of 10 years, who she depends on for a paycheck, doesn't negate the unprofessionalism I experienced. Manipulation delivered politely is still manipulation. I was perfectly prepared for lack of representation, but this mischaracterization of me continues, either out of bias, damage control, or both. I privately expressed to Tiffany that my issue was with how I was treated, not with representation or compensation. Of course, she doesn't mention that here (that's okay, because I have it all recorded). Even after giving Ben two opportunities to redeem himself, communication remained confusing and inadequate. It's worth noting that, around 10 AM during standard business hours, Tiffany engaged with me on this review, time that might have been better spent assisting him in managing client communications. Ben asked for evidence he later claimed he hadn't seen or reviewed, relied on his own non-medical opinion, ignored the lack of consent and medical justification in my assault, and later, without my knowledge or agreement, allegedly consulted a physician based solely on his words, not my evidence. It's clear Ben was never confident or interested in representing me, and he had every right to decline. But with a case of this sensitivity, ethical closure, transparency, and honesty were the bare minimum. Instead of either formally apologizing to me or using their Fifth Amendment right, they keep reinforcing this harmful narrative that proves my point, they are insensitive and care only about optics and reputation. Tiffany talks about luck but Ben was lucky with me when I gave him an opportunity to course-correct only for him to keep dropping the ball and compounding on my trauma. He messed up royally, and I even gave him a deadline to come correct and he hasn't. He made this choice, placing everyone in adversarial positions. As the managing partner of a top litigation firm, he should have known better. I left with grace and gratitude for what I believed was genuine remorse, but reflection showed me this firm is not the right place to entrust my story. For the record, representation for the future was not off the table, as Ben himself made clear, but I chose to walk away. I formally disengaged, revoked record retention, and sent an official request on August 11, 2025. If I pursue litigation (which was never a priority), it will be with a firm rooted in ethics, transparency, and trauma-informed core values. Based on my experience, this firm is ill-equipped to manage or ethically disengage from sensitive cases they consider low-priority. Tiffany's reply attempts to: 1. Frame me as unreasonable, disgruntled, or ungrateful 2. Recast Ben's actions as generous 3. This law firm is not willing to work for their cases. They want easy slip and falls so they don't have to do any leg work. Their so called doctor is not educated in personal injury and from the first time you talk to him he is painting you the (victim) as the problem and the doctor who nearly killed you as the victim. He doesn't think that doctors lie or can do any wrong. I would not waste my time with this law firm. It's a good thing that I was working with another law firm at the same time since I had already heard the tone is this law firms doctors voice the first time we spoke.
