I also decided to pick up some of house made sausages to try. All pork based. They had a buy 5 get 1 free. Overall they were flavourful and juicy on the grill. The ones I liked the most were the onion caramélisés and the maple. These local butcher shops are a great place to come support. Get to know your butcher and they will do special cuts and bring in what you desire. Definitely worth returning back.

However it's the restaurant that is probably the easiest for my 4.5 year old daughter (other than McDonald's that I try to avoid even more)! For Quebeckers however St Hubert is an institution in family dining or in casual eating for either lunch, dinner or a late night snack! Chicken and fries to a Quebecois is the basic equivalent to pasta and tomato sauce for an Italian. That is why there are so many chicken places in the province (St Hub, Au coq, Scores, Benny & PFK) to name a few. For this evening I ordered a chicken burger with caesar salad. To start it off the creamy coleslaw. The burger was decent but the Caesar salad was below average! My daughter was however quite happy with her chicken burger and fries. She had the ice cream cone to end it off so all was good! Service was pleasant and an OK experience although not my fave place! A word of warning ******avoid going on Friday or Saturday nights as these restaurants are popular with the masses or risk waiting in line!
