This is my first stop of my two week adventure in Perryville, Missouri. This place is a cute little hidden gem that only has about 10 tables. While I was waiting for my to-go order, multiple people came in to pick up orders and the restaurant was pretty busy! The staff was very friendly and seemed happy to be there. Everyones food came out quick and looked amazing! Next time I definitely want to try a pasta. I ordered a pizza with mushrooms, peppers, and black olives. I'm not normally a thin crust lover but this was a great pizza!! The sauce is delicious and the toppings were all fresh. Super easy and very satisfying dinner.

Had the pasta trio and Roma pizza. The trio was OK but the pizza was AMAZING. Stick with the pizza!

It was an off hour so there weren't a lot of people in the place which made service extra attentive. The dining area is spacious and overlooks a scenic creek. Dining is available indoors and outdoors weather permitting. The menu is diverse offering everything from apps to desserts. Their specialty is toasted ravioli so that's where I focused my attention. I started with half an antipasto salad (generously portioned) which was incredibly delicious and full of flavor. I ordered three ravioli fillings that came with 6 each--BBQ, Breakfast, and 4 Cheese. They were all very tasty, but some of them were a little dry. Of the three, I highly recommend the BBQ. The Breakfast ones come with a side of gravy and if you are an adventurous eater, this concept was worth trying. The star of the show was the loaf of bread served with the salad. It was warm and hearty and went well with the meal. I was going to try the dessert ravioli, but they were out of it today. The meal was filling, the service was great, and I would go back again to try different varieties of the ravioli. Good place for a date night or an evening with friends!

As soon as you walked in the door, that heady smell of rising dough, fresh-made tomato sauce and baking cheese welcomed you like an old friend. As soon as we entered the parking lot and saw only one car there at 8:30 on a Friday night in a college town, we started to worry. I had seen in the reviews here that ownership had changed, but retained some small hope that the Pags we knew still existed. But no. There may have been a wisp of an aroma but we realized pretty quickly that it must have just been a ghost. Since we still had 7 hours on the road ahead of us, we had called our order in. The fact that the staff didn't understand what "dine in" meant for our order meant that both the person who took the order on the phone and the manager they consulted hadn't bothered to communicate to the rest of the staff. So our pizzas were boxed up and waiting when we got there - but not in anything that would keep them warm. The server plated them on pizza platters, but didn't bother warming them up, so they were barely above room temp when served. And the pizza itself? Boring. Pedestrian. Like any other pizza made with Sysco products. My "thin and crispy" was thinnish, but by no stretch of the imagination was it crispy. The savory, crunchy crust I remembered was replaced by an anemic 1/4 inch rim, no crunch. No flavor. SO and YO split a "thin and chewy," which had the weirdest edge I think I've seen. SO reports it "perfectly adequate;" everything that made Pags special was lacking. "Sure was pizza." The staff were nice. The floor by the counter was really sticky - to the point that I could both feel and hear my shoes sticking. That was gross. We were last here about 15 years ago, so I guess that will have to be the Pags we remember. This one is perfectly forgettable.
