Drove across the state line for this buffet. I'm glad we got there 30 minutes after opening because by the time we left it was a full house. I was surprised by how good the sushi was for a buffet. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive to every table even though it was very busy. There's plenty's of seating inside and it's fairly clean from what I saw. read more

Service was great. Not too crowded on a weekend night, I was expecting a crowded space by the look of the packed parking lot. Swift and attentive service, our beverages were never not filled and our table was promptly cleaned everytime they passed by. The food was great! As a picky eater I left full and happy! This buffet is by far the largest buffet I've ever seen in my life. It's from one end of building to the other. The food is fantastic. It's always fresh and hot. The people there are so friendly and nice. They are always busy but yet they still have time for every customer have a very large selection of sushi items lots of salad bar options lots of dessert options I will always be a customer as long as they are there. I ordered beef fried rice, egg rolls, and shrimp. The food was not seasoned properly and lacked flavor. When the meal was delivered, the cook appeared to say something uncomfortable to the cashier regarding my order, which added to an already negative experience. I tried to eat there tonight. The posted hours on Yelp and on the door are until 9 pm. I walked in at 835 pm and asked for a table for 1. The guy said maybe I should look at the buffet since it was the end of the day and make sure they had what I wanted. I did, and they still had plenty of food to choose from. I went back to the desk and said it was OK and I needed table for 1. He said carry out only. I said the door says you are open till 9. He just said no. I again said but your door says you are open till 9. He said no again. I would have probably been out by nine had he seated me but evidently he wanted to close and didn't give a damn about a Customer. I will never stop there again. read more

I really wanted to hate this place because of what used to be in the building. The dark gross Great Wall restaurant that used to be here would make a maggot gag. But the new Yummy Buffet was way more than a Chinese buffet. There was so much food to choose from and it was all delicious! There was even a sushi selection and a wok where they would fix something up fresh. Great desert and a self serve ice cream selection. We will definitely have to come back to try something else! I've been a few different times and the story is always the same. The food is good but their set up for the buffet is absolutely terrible. There's basically one way into each area and one way out of each separate buffet. You end up running into people the entire time and it's not practical. It's almost to the point to where I don't want to go eat there just bc of this. Yet I find myself going back. That's what good food will do to you though. Not a fan of where they store the plates that close to the floor. Seems like it maybe a bit of a cleanliness/health hazard being there. Would have been so nice without it. Soup was great. Most items were cold. Hot fish finally came out and it was UNDERCOOKED and GROSS. Cold shrimp is nasty. How in the world did this place get 4/5 stars?? What an absolutely disgusting excuse for a Chinese meal. The kicker? You pay over fourteen dollars for it. "Due to rising food prices," according to the sign next to credit card machine on the way out. You know what? Should have been called "General Sweet Chicken." Sesame Chicken? No--"Sesa-sweet Chicken." Granted, I didn't have the frog legs, or the Salmon, or any of the crap nobody gets at Chinese buffets, so I don't know if those were sweet or not, (probably were) I just stuck to the basics--The dishes mentioned above, Black Pepper Chicken, Chicken and Sweet--I mean, Chicken and Broccoli, etc. All disgustingly over-sweetened. Not to mention, soggy, and "well-aged," as if they had come out of the fryer around lunch time (I went at 6:30pm). Gross. Just gross. The only ubiquitous items I had that were not sweet, were white rice, and green beans (which were actually pretty good)--should have just eaten those two things--I probably wouldn't feel like I need to mainline some insulin right about now. But, as good as the rice and green beans were, they were not worth $14. Absolutely gross. 4 out of 5 stars? Stay classy, Cape Girardeau. read more

This is now my favorite Asian buffet this is a clean place .It has a wide variety of Asian foods along with some southern comfort foods which kinda surprised me but hey if it sells.I especially liked the hibachi I like my food a bit fresher and hot, even when I was there the food was continuously being rotated. When I went it was a packed house so I Kinda expected the foods to be rotated.The service was kinda slow however she was kinda busy and she did amazingly keep our drink glasses filled till they wanted us to leave it is to be expected.I definitely will go back with more family and friends. read more

We were with a large group of 8 two of which were toddlers. It is clean and attractive. The food was good and hot. The place that used to be here was less than one star. There were a lot of people and a lot of waitstaff. We had very good service. I liked the dumplings and hot and sour soup the best. The cute little peach shaped dumpling was the best! read more

I used to visit different Chinese buffets in the area, but not since this one opened. The layout may be fairly typical, but the food is awesome. The fried squid and the salt-and-pepper shrimp are my favorites. Their squid has the perfect texture and a buttery/peppery taste that's addictive. Their yellow rice is a perfect match for the sauces in most of the entrees. And I have yet to be able to save any room for desserts. Food is very good, but the atmosphere is horrible. Overcrowded and noisy, not a place for a peaceful meal or a quiet conversation. Wait staff seem overworked and hassled- they rarely smile or act friendly. Tables are crammed together so you're sitting with strangers. They seem to be put out to have a single diner come in and will give you a tiny table placed in what should be the aisle. Like eating at the airport food court. read more

Would earn 5 stars but I am very unhappy with the way our "senior discount' was handled when we ate there on Sunday March 3rd 2019. We were told at the register we should have "told the waitress we were Seniors at the table before she brought the bill" WHAT, we always were told to tell the cashier before we paid. Not much money, but seniors get discounts because it helps us be able to eat at a restaurant since we are on fixed income. Food was great!! Dining area was very clean and wait staff is very helpful. Not so much the guy at the register. If you are a senior be "SURE" to tell the waitress if you are a senior. read more
