Stopped by here real quick with my sister to get a mani n color change for my feet. They were quick and cheap and I was in and out in less then an hour. They had a nice variety of colors and gel colors available. There is also a nail tech here (named Hannah) that does really cool nail art designs. The only down side,but I got over it was the smell of acetone.

Mediocre at best. I made an appointment for gel mani and regular pedi and was out in less than an hour. If you're on a tight schedule then this is the place for you. My tech was done with my pedicure and the tech beside us was still giving a lady a massage. She used nail clippers that were next to the chair so I never saw her get tools from the sterilizer. They never cleaned around my nails so I left the salon with patches of nail polish on my skin. Also, it looks like the gel dryer hasn't been cleaned in a while because dust was stuck in between my gel. The next day, two of my nails already had the gel chipping in large amounts when gel should last at least 2 weeks. Oh, there's a sign that says tips should be in cash but unless you move the plant in front of it, it's nearly impossible to see. And the kid that was running the register was extremely rude and wouldn't even speak up when asking him how much the services were. It's nice that everyone else has had such a great experience. This was my first and last time visiting.

This nail salon is amazing. I love going here. Love the little shopping center and they have great prices. I go every three to four weeks for dip. Ask for Armando!! He is funny and does a great job for dip. Danny is great for acrylics, he always does my sisters nails and she refuses to do them with anyone else. Parking can be a little annoying, but totally an exceptional place to go if your looking for a nail salon in Pinecrest. Highly recommend, but you should make an appointment before you go. They are always busy!

I really liked this salon! My nail artist, Pao (sp?), was extremely detailed, gentle, and kind. I am a perfectionist who normally has to ask an artist to correct something but not with her! Only $48 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. (I live down in key largo where nail salons rush you in and out and the same package would have cost me $70 so this is a good price. Very pleased!

Just moved back to Miami from Boston and was in desperate need for a nail place since my favorite spot is way too far from where I live currently. I was recommended by a friend and figured why not? I called for an appointment the night before on a weekend and had no trouble making it. They took me in right away. I was super lucky to have Danny be the person assigned to me because he did such a great job. I got a dip powder manicure done in under an hour (pretty much a miracle compared to my time in Boston). He was super friendly, cut them the way I wanted, and even gave me a tip on one of my broken nails to keep them all long for me. The color selection for the dip powder was pretty great and I'm so excited to go back already and get another one already. It's been a week since I got them done and there are zero chips and the color is still pretty in pink. The only thing I wish he could have done was spend some more time on the actual manicure itself instead of just the color portion of it. I had to ask to have my cuticles taken care of (not sure if he was planning on doing it despite this). Sometimes a girl just needs the works done so the color on the nails look even better. I will definitely be back!

I was in South Miami on business and I broke a nail at the airport. I checked into my hotel and searched on yelp for a nail salon. I was excited to see that Galaxy was not far from my office and decided to checked them out. They checked me in quickly and fixed my nails in no time. The staff is super nice and they have an amazing nail color section. Highly recommend this nail salon.

I've been here 2x. Everyone is nice & the location is nice & clean. I did make an appointment in advance & was disappointed I had two different ladies, one for my pedi & the other for gel mani. Also quite disappointed my nails chipped 3 days after getting them done. I didn't like the method the tech utilized to do my gel mani. Too much polish not enough time under the light but she's the professional I didn't say anything. Nonetheless, they chipped & look faded :( unfortunately I didn't catch the tech's name. Aside from that, they are friendly. I just didn't have much luck on my last visit. read more

After reading some reviews I decided to go and do my nails (full set ) and feet once I got there I was greeted by the front desk she was super friendly. I was attended quick once I sat down my nail tech was an older lady she started to do my nail everything was perfect-she gave me the shape i wanted and everything now here is when things start going south for me she asks me to wash my hands so we can get started on painting them once I sit down she tells me she I have to go pay to continue the service.. umm okay never in my 26 years of life have I been stopped mid session to pay but I brushed it off and went and paid sat down and she continued to work she took her time wish i was happy cuz you would think she would do a good jobs right ? Worng she did a horrible job. Once she was done I told her I had paid for a pedi as well she went ahead and sat me down she didn't even turn on the water to soak my feet or nothing !!!!!!! Like wtf?! She just put on some paint on my toe nails and sent me on my way honestly I am a berry humble person to some dumb ass because I still went out of my way and gave her a good a tip I was honestly upset with the way I was treated and well as having to pay for the hot mess that are my nails. read more

My wife and I have been going to see Lyly and Danny now for almost a year. They are a pleasure and a joy to do business with. The service is courteous, prices reasonable and the focus on customer service is awesome. We are treated like family and they and their staff have always been friendly, helpful and professional. We look forward to our appointments and they work hard to do the best job possible every time we visit. My wife has tried dozens of nail salons over the years, this one has truly separated itself from the rest. I finally found my new nail place! After a nail technician left, it was hard finding another salon. When I first arrived to this one, everyone greeted me and was so nice. I didn't have an appointment but I was taken care of quick. I do recommend calling or walking in to make an appointment for dip powder nails because only 3 people can do it. The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars is because an older nail lady, cut too much of my cuticles in my toes. But it all turned out to be better with Lyly! She is such a doll! She converses with me and makes sure I am comfortable and doing good. I already have my second appointment for the month of June. :) read more

The last time I was here I got a gel mani and it looked reaaallllyyy good, but most of my nails either came off completely or chipped the next day. Yesterday I went again and decided to try the dip powder and after work last night bartending with constantly wet and sticky hands, opening cans, using cleaners my nails still look perfect! So in my opinion the dip is better than gel. read more

YOU NEED TO FIRE THAT LITTLE GIRL IN THE FRONT ASAP. Extremely disrespectful. Does not know absolutely anything about customer service. Kept giving me wrong information, would not tell me about availability, and then when I told her to do her job right she said whatever and hung up on me. I am super pick with my gel manis and usually they don't last more than 4 days before they start chipping or lifting up but I did my nails with Hannah over a week ago and my gel mani still looks perfect! I'm always after quality when it comes to nails and hair. I don't care how posh the space is if my nails don't look right. I definitely recommend this place. I got my nails done by Hannah and I'm happy. Neat, quick, accurate, gentle. I went there after reading reviews on yelp and I'm glad, this is my new 'go-to' nail spot. They also do waxing but I haven't tried that service yet. read more

Decided to try this place out after the good reviews. I wanted to try something completely different and decided to get coffin shaped nails with gel polish. Hannah was very sweet and nice and definitely answered all of my questions. I've had it about 2 weeks now and I'm ready to take them off! DO NOT COME HERE!!!! I called in the AM for an appointment and they said they could only fit me in at 1. When I arrived I was told to take a seat. After five minutes the guy in the first desk said 'sit' so I asked him where I should sit and he proceeded to speak in another language to a nail tech for ten minutes. They both seemed thoroughly annoyed and she started arguing with him. She came and told me I had to pick either a manicure or a pedicure but not both because other people had appointments. I told her I had an appointment too and she said it wasn't the same. I asked what she meant and she said it was people that didn't make 'general appointments'. At this point I was embarrassed and said no problem I will go elsewhere and they just said 'ok'. I am in shock that they are treating paying customers this way. All this WITH A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT at a time THEY said was convenient. Please avoid this nail salon. I am leaving frustrated and embarrassed and without a manicure or pedicure anyways. read more

Finally found a nail spot!! Staff is very nice And friendly. The establishment is bright, clean, and very pleasant. It's not posh but it's modern. The staff is very friendly. Good selection of polishes. Prices are in range with typical Miami prices. I am always happy with my results here for pedicures and nails (acrylic with gel polish). read more

The reviews for this place are no joke. I called for a manicure and was easily scheduled for half an hour after I called. My nails were done by Hannah who is very sweet and does an efficient job with nails! I'll definitely be returning and to try out a pedi ($20!!) The environment is quaint and friendly. Not having a regular spot, I was extremely cautious of trying out a new place after having a traumatic eyebrow waxing experience. [Prior to going to Galaxy Nails, I had 2-3 scabs on each eyelid for weeks after. It took 3 months for my eyebrows to grow back in and felt desperate to get them shaped.] This place was close to home and had a ton of reviews; mostly good. People raved about Lyly on the reviews but I didn't expect her to be available.I explained that I needed the best they had! I was paired with a sweet lady who took her time and was gentle. She complimented me several time on my pretty eyebrows and lashes. My eyebrows are finally looking fierce and healthy again. Galaxy Nails is also my go-to mani / pedi place. I've been looking for a new place to get my acrylics done, since I've had some awful experiences with other nail salons in the area. Galaxy Nails was recommended by a friends, and after looking through Yelp I decided to give them a shot. Here I am, after having tried Galaxy Nails, happier with my acrylics than I thought I would ever be! Walked into this salon for the first and last time on Friday. I felt super rushed through like they just wanted to get to the next client. My friend and I both went in for a dip service, she started 15-20 minutes before I did and some how I finished before her. The whole experience felt extremely unsanitary and I watched my nail technician reuse the same tools without cleaning them. It's been two days and my nails are already cracked. They also used UV light, dip nails should NOT require a UV light. The whole point of dip is to stay away from UV rays. Also if you plan on going to this salon make sure you bring cash for tipping. read more

My nails were done perfectly and beautifully. The manicurist took her time in making sure my nails were done right. Highly recommend for a great mani pedi. The deluxe pedicure is very relaxing and the oils they use fill the whole area. Went on a Monday afternoon and it was very quiet and relaxing! read more

The outcome of the nail was beautiful. It was definitely a 10/10. HOWEVER. The process was not. My nail technician would drill my skin multiple times on multiple fingers. They're too rough with the cuticles. However, if you're willing to endure all that pain, then I'd say go for it. read more

I had a horrible experience. To start, the nail technician had crumbs all over her mouth and was not very hygienic. She fought with me when I told her the colors on my pedicure was different then my nails. I know because these are the same colors I put all the time. She put alpine snow on my feet and funny bunny on my hands. She kept telling me to put more and more coats, I explained the more thick the coat the more it starts to chip off. After 2 coats she realized it wasn't the same color and said you want more white and offered to take it off completely. I told her no because I was there already an hour and half and needed to get home. She then finished my GEL manicure and sure enough after 3 days my nails began to chip. I will not be coming back at all. read more

Since moving back to Miami (cutler bay/homestead area) I've struggled with finding a nail spa I liked without traveling too far North. Today was my first visit to Galaxy Nails after going to countless different nail salons in Cutler Bay + Homestead. I had such an amazing experience that I'm happy to say I think I found my go-to nail place. The overall atmosphere is great! The Nail salon is very organized, clean, beautiful decor, modern and very welcoming. The staff are just as sweet and professional :) I had an amazing pedicure, it wasn't rushed, she took her time and it was so relaxing (Next time I will get the Deluxe Pedi!) I loved that they clean up and disinfect everything immediately after they finish the pedicure. My manicurist, Hannah did my acrylics and gel polish and she exceeded my expectations. I found this place on Yelp but it took me to Kings Bay Nails. So the address is wrong! But thankfully I'd seen Galaxy and made a U turn and made it in. This was the only place in the area that was open on a Sunday fairly late! I got a full set with Hanna - and she is amazing!!!!! I hate telling people how to do their job and I never had to tell her to fix my nails because they were perfect. I loved how she measured each nail with precision and her attention to detail is incredible. I also got a pedi (can't remember his name unfortunately) but OMG he changed my life!!!!!!! One of the first stores we saw was LumiGarnet NailSpa advertising a promo mani-pedi for $25. I could see from her expression that my mom really wanted a little pampering and, although we had agreed that we would not go into any stores and increase the risk of exposure, I stopped to check out the nail salon. First things first, I looked around and saw everyone taking precautions, the place looked clean and there was hand sanitizer everywhere. In addition, a sign said all customers must wash their hands before being helped. It was clear they were doing their best to keep everyone safe. The friendly receptionist even agreed to keep an eye out for my mom to make sure she didn't forget to keep safe (she is 81 after all). Fast forward: Even though I paid $20 to upgrade to the gel nail polish which is supposed to last a minimum of two week's,, the polish started peeling. She's had gel many times before done at LaBelle Beauty ACADEMY by students and at other salons that wouldn't come off without soaking in some sort special nail polish remover. We went back to get them fixed - most places will fix them for you within 2 weeks. After acknowledging that her nail polish shouldn't have peeled, the receptionist asked if she wanted another manicure and began to sell her a different kind of polish. Of course, I pushed back and told her that we were simply seeking to get her thumb nail fixed as it should have peeled. After a little back-and-forth and having spoken to her manager if we wanted them fixed we would have to pay for a whole new manicure. They didn't even offer to fix the really bad one or give a deal on the new manicure. I was really happy we had found this place for her to go get her nails fixed at the mall where she can walk around safely in the outdoors In a beautiful, shaded and sometimes air-conditioned location. Sadly, I must say, that this bird in the hand got away! No matter how nice you are to me, how great your customer service is during the sales process, if, when it comes time, you won't stand behind your work, you won't be seeing me again.

Will I ever find a good nail place in Miami? I want here with High Hopes, but feeling once again defeated after my experience. I originally had scheduled with Armando, and when I got to the salon, they told me that Armando was not in today and that he called out. And then asked me if I would like to wait for another tech. A phone call letting me know this would've been appreciated, and since I already had an appointment booked for over a week, you would think that they would have arranged already for a tech to take my appointment. I waited and got a full acrylic set, with gel polish, and afterwards I just kept thinking how thick the nails felt and looked. I left and later I called to let them know I wasn't happy with the manicure and they told me just to come back the next day when they open at 10am, so I did. When I got there, the technician that came up to the front argued with me in terms of the thickness of the nails and told me that I would have to wait because there was no space. After 30 minutes waiting I left and made an appointment at a other salon to fix my nails. Needless to say I won't be going back to Galaxy nails. read more

I get a gel manicure, and pedicure.. whoever does them does a good job but Hannah is the best ! my manicures always stay perfect for atleast 2 or 3 wks.
