I stumbled across the yelp page while I was looking for a nail spa near my area and yelp recommend me 'Polished Up'. The response time was super quick and they are available to get you in with a appointment right away. Pricing, is that of your average nail spa within $35-40; of course it all depends on the type of services you are getting done. Parking, this is located within the Beauty Mall, I believe the MIA Salon Suite is the correct name. The parking is free and spacious since it is centrally located in a commuted shopping center! Evelyn and Jessica are AMAZING! They are very detailed and take pride in their work, they make it a comfortable atmosphere and make you feel right at home. Highly recommend! They did a color swatch so that I could see it on my nail before we started. I had a a-press gel and regular pedicure which was very relaxing. The massage chair was old and clunky but the pedicure was neat and nicely done. The a-press gel was so carefully and diligently applied, I am very happy with how my nails look. Location: the salon is broken up into small rooms. I was in 114 and there were about 4 work stations. The room was organized but it was a bit dusty.

Unsanitary service 4. Disrespectful treatment 5. $113 BEFORE TIPPING I came as a walk in at 2:30pm for a GelX manicure and regular pedicure and ended up leaving at 5pm. Halfway through my manicure my stylist mentioned that I would be switched to someone else because she had an appointment. I didn't mind this, as I was a walk in and know that appointments should be prioritized. When i showed my new stylist the reference photo she seemed prepared. She first motioned to do the wrong design on one of my nails; but mistakes happen and i caught it before anything could be done. My design required one french tip and I asked her to retouch/redo 3 times due to unfinished/crooked lines. Then came the stripped part of the design, 3 lines on my pinky that took 20-30 minutes to look DECENT. When trying to do those 3 lines I asked if there was someone else more fit for designs and that I would be okay waiting, she didn't pay any mind to my request and kept trying. After some more attempts I asked her to take off the stripe and told her that I would find somewhere else to do it. At this point, who i think is the owner came over and handed her another tool after they exchanged some words. The same issues happened, uneven lines, some even diagonal. Then she proceeds to pluck a HAIR FROM HER HEAD to try to do the line as she giggles, I was sooo taken aback at this point and had spoken up SO MANY times that I was speechless. My index nail was also placed on crooked so when I mentioned to her that the lines were diagonal she stated that my nail was crooked. 1. My fake nail was placed crooked and 2. even if my nail is crooked, your line should be straight! Again, I told her to wipe everything off and said I would go somewhere else. After she finally let me go, the owner asked if I wanted her to try and I said "that is what i have been asking for since this began". Finally they were good enough and I left after paying $113 for all that I had just gone through. just don't come here.

The lady that normally sits on the first chair and greets people decided to take our request. She had earbuds on and was talking with someone the entire time. I asked her not to cut my daughter's cuticles, she did it anyway. I assumed she had not heard me, as she was still on the phone, so I decided to just let it go. My daughter wanted a french, and when the lady did the first tip, I asked her if she could thin it out bc it was too thick. She completely ignored me. She then did the second one in the same way, so I repeated myself. Her reply, in a nasty loud manner was: "Will you relax? I'm not finished!". I was SHOCKED. I then replied: "Then answer me the first time so I know you heard me." She continued to ignore me and speaking on the phone. When she finally thinned them out, she asked my daughter if they were ok and in an extremely rude way said: "Yes, or NO?" Afterwards, she made my daughter extremely uncomfortable, rubbing cream up her arms in an extra firm way. On top of that, she charge me $45 for tiny nails and a crappy manicure that she completed in 15 minutes. It is a shame that people like these have jobs in AMERICA in service and treat customers like this, but it's even worse when it is for no reason and while servicing a child. I am never going back and I advise everyone never to come here.
